Great location for quick access to Beamish. Surrunding housing estate was surprisingly quiet and peaceful . Beds were firm a d very comfortable. View from the the front of the house was lovely. Also lots of housemartins and blackbirds!
Was expecting a really clean house due to comments from other people but the kitchen was really not clean. Surfaces were tacky, there was food/liquid stains/solids on 3 of the drawers and oven door. Oven shelf was literally dripping with dried on grease. I did message the owner with photos but got no response/ apology. Also rubbish on living room floor- cleaner obviously didn't move the door! Rest of house was OK cleanliness wise. Garden was also a bit unkempt ( good for the birds though!) Also only 1 ( not very large) towel per person

View was beautiful. left water in fridge. Floor on kitchen dirty. But overall clean.
Asked for 5 sleep, on website said can sleep on sofa but there no bed set left?

Location good for visiting beamish and surrounding area.
Property very tired inside and out, garden over grown. Carpets very dirty downstairs.
