Lovely stay for a night. Would return if affordable

The location was very central and convenient

The narrow stairs and lighting in the stairwell. The bathroom could use more rugs during the winter months

A perfect location and a comfortable, well equipped apartment

Possibly one of the best tourist locations in Antwerp with views of the Gross Market, the Cathedral and the river, all from the apartment. Hosts had somewhere very close by where we could leave our bags whilst the apartment was being prepared.

The staircase will limit access if you're not too steady on your feet. Very narrow and steep.

Not much however if you mobility issues and or of an older age the stirs are exchanging. There could be closet space in the main bedroom or something for your suitcases 🧳

I liked everything! If you’re sensitive to outside noise from people on the street, just bring ear plugs. Located on third floor with no elevator, but my older parents did not have any issues.

Still in process of renovating the stairs up to the apartment but that is almost completed.

Very spacious, comfortable and well equipped penthouse apartment, worth the effort to get there.

Huge penthouse apartment with everything needed for a self-contained stay. Superb location, overlooking the Grote Markt square, but quiet. Communication from the host was very helpful and showed a quirky sense of humour.

Steep, narrow stairs made it a challenge lugging heavy bags to the third floor. Fitout work to the retail tenancy on the ground floor also made access to the building difficult, but I imagine this is a short term issue.

We loved the location. Central Antwerp with lots of attractions and bars and restaurants on the doorstep. The apartment is clean and well equipped.

We didn’t like the steep old stairs that felt like they might break at any moment and the stairway wasn’t lit which was scary for the kids. It was hard to carry kids and baggage up the stairs.

Beautiful apartment with the view.

The apartment has amazing views of the square. Accessible to all major sites. It was clean and easy to communicate with the host. Easy check-in process with clear instructions. Would stay again.

This was our 2nd stay here as we wouldn’t have booked anywhere else after we first stayed a few years ago. The place is a fabulous size, spotless, comfortable and the location is right in the centre of the old town

So many stairs to the apartment. Steep like 160 grades angle. my parents are old and heart patients, so this place was not a option for them. Geting in to the apartment is like climbing a coconut tree. But location and apartment it self is 5stars.

Good place for short stay at the heart of Antwerp

Location was excellent and good size of apartment

Access is extremely bad with very small stairs which are difficult to carry any luggage . Also, some furniture needs maintenance such as a broken chair .

Perfect location for touring family as the property it is in the Grotemarkt itself and close to all the attractions . Inside the property has a cozy vibe and the beds may be a bit low but very comfortable.

Amazing location! Right where you want to be.

The location of this apartment is fantastic with good views! Right in the middle of the historical buildings and museums on the doorstep. The walking tours start 50M away and there are lots of restaurants around. Comfortable sofa and large TV with great kitchen facilities. We enjoyed our stay and was perfect for 3nights - would be fine for much longer. Chargeable outside parking 5mins away suitable for a van which was very handy.

We enjoyed our stay here! Worth noting this apartment is on the 3rd floor and has super narrow/steep stairs to get to it so no good if you arnt good with stairs or would struggle lifting your suitcases. Other let down was our last meal out was ruined by the host calling us accusing us of not leaving the key in the lock box and not checking out. Refusing to accept we had done. Luckily we were only around the corner so on returning to see what on earth was going on, the next guests had been given the same code, and used the lock box early. Was super stressful, really tainted our last day and received no apology. Top Top - TAKE A PHOTO OF THE KEY BACK IN THE LOCK BOX WHEN YOU CHECK OUT!!

Spacious appartment but a lot of nuisance from the café below

Location is in the middle of the city centre, close to a parking.

However, it is an old building and the restaurant/ café below the accomodation was open until late midnight and you could hear the music was very load in the appartement (until 5:00). It was keeping us awake.

Panoramic apartment in Central Antwerp

We loved the view, how central it was to everything, even the little touches like the different types of tea, coffee, shampoo and shower gel, most importantly were the lovely cold bottles of water in the fridge for us when we arrived. The communication between us and the host was clear, every question I had was answered quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to people.

The only downside was the 3 flights of narrow stairs, so I would not recommend this property to the infirm or a family with small children.

Would stay again in a heartbeat

Location and apartment couldn't have been better for 2 travellers. To be that central and only a 5 minute walk from the station, we couldn't have wanted more! A sofa bed had been set up for us as well as the main bed and we both slept well. Whole apartment was super clean and functional and had great views out onto the square. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

If I had to find something for this section, the only thing I could put is that whoever stayed upstairs from us had very heavy feet so the ceiling/floorboards were a bit loud, certainly not a deal breaker though

The location

The stairs were steep and narrow, small part where there is no handrail. we couldn’t get the tv to work and instructions from owner did not solve the problem. Hose part of shower was broken, rain shower was fine but shower try did over flow a little as water was not draining very well
