Good price/quality accomodation

Price/quality it is a very good accomodation tonstay in Antwerp for 1 or 2 nights. Check in was easy and the kitchen and bathroom were good. Also nice to have four seperate beds (bunk beds).

It wasn't told us to put the electronic CV on when we arrived. So that was an unpleasant suprise in the morning when willing to shower. Blankets are too thin to sleep under during winternights.

We managed to get through the two nights. Never going back.

Reasonably well located.

No mention of bank transfer of deposit until after booking. Led to think we could pay cash and get refunded in cash. Had to get our son to set up an account to transfer funds on the check-in day. Rather stressful. TV doesn’t work and sofa was damp. Informed hostess but no response. Our son slept on the top bunk bed and was bitten in three places. Noisy, people talking loudly in courtyard and moving stuff around after midnight. You can’t even spit into the bathroom sink when you brush your teeth and definitely not wash your face without flooding the bathroom.

Very bad

They make you pay upfront, and they already know the place isn’t good. They even include a note saying you won’t get a refund if you cancel. The place is very uncomfortable and not suitable for staying with your family.

Perfect base camp for a family to explore Antwerp and Flanders from.

We liked the geographical location with regards to the close distance to the central station literally being a 10min walk away. We liked the space. We were four people, each with our own room which was nice and we had ample space as well as a communal area to eat, chat and relax. Getting in, checking out and overall communication with the host was good. We had to pay a deposit, which was returned 2 working days after checking out.

The neighborhood is not the best of neighborhoods, but ja that is the reality in any parts of most big cities in western europe unfortunately. But as soon as you walk out of the neighborhood, the beautiful Antwerp can be experienced and its not that far away.

The entrance old and dirty my room nr8 was on the second floor which they did not mention in the booking no light in the staircase..you get a bathtub but can't use it because the plug is missing..the floor of the house makes squeaking noise.

Location close to station, city center and tourist center

The staff is friendly, although it is difficult to communicate in English. The contact person is easy to reach and very helpful.

Awful-avoid at all costs

The owner will contact you after the point you can cancel for free (14 days before) and ask for €100 euro deposit. Apparently this is mentioned in the house rules and when you book you agree to it. It'll be on your confirmation email as well. City tax is €3 per person per night and you have to pay that as well. Ground floor rooms are along a corridor that leads to an open doorway/court yard area that has no door/exposed to the elements. Shower didn't work properly. Glass door fell off, shower tray doesn't drain properly-so water went everywhere. The temperature dial is loose and you have to hold on to it to change it. The temperature was extremely hot. Some plugs/lights don't work. Plug off the wall in bedroom. Skirting board coming off the wall. Duvets rather thin, but if we were were to double up and use a spare that's a €10 fee taken from your deposit. Toilet seat broken. Smells damp and not very clean. Room smelled of cigarettes. Other people in our party, their bedroom had water dripping that had been repaired with tape.

If I visit Antwerp again, I will choose different accommodation

I have to admit that the contact with the owner is very good. All responds for my questions come quickly, which was super helpful during our stay. The other thing is very attractive localisation, around 10 minutes by foot from the railway station. Towels are provided which is very convinient.

This apartament is fine option for a short stay is Antwerpen. But if you going to spend there a week, I would rather suggest another accomodation. The surrounding area is very chaotic, dirty and somehow unsafe - during our stay the Police had to intervence, becouse a drug diller was suspected to live in the apartament in this building. In result, all keys to apartament were changed during our stay, which was very unpleasent and stressful accident. There was mouldy smell in this accommodation and only one outside window. Doors and walls are thin and surrounding locators acted rather loudly. Coffe and tea service is available, which means instant coffee and few bags of tea, sugar and some chocolates. The amount of toilett papier is also very limited.

Nothing. I would not recommend this place.

Honestly everything. I stayed there while having some renovation works done at my home and to be honest, I would have been better off staying in the construction site. First of all, the hostess. She was not polite, didn't even react sometimes and was terrible in her communication. Secondly, the place smells like mold, heating didn't work half of the time. Host asked too much money for this dump. Please find somewhere else, I cannot recommend this appartment

it was a complete disappointment. one of the bed linen was used and not changed and the others were not clean looking. I searched for a parking spot for an hour but couldn't find it. I was able to park in a closed car park 1.5 km away for 20€ per night. you must also pay an extra tax of 3 € per person with a deposit of 100 €. It would be better and logical to stay in a nice hotel with the money you will pay here. I mistakenly made a reservation thinking it was a hotel, I wanted to cancel it, but I had to because they didn't give a refund. The building is not safe at all.

Extremely good value for money stay closeby center in good apartment.

Perfect location closeby the main train station, the main shopping street & loads of (ethnic) supermarkets & restaurants nearby. Apartment had everything you could need: not too big but perfect if you’re here for a short stay and we still had fun with the tv with Netflix & Prime when we weren’t out on the town. Communication with the owner went smoothly & quickly & they answered all my questions.

We did have to do a deposit via bank transfer which was odd, but was refunded (in full) on the day we checked out. If you’re clean & don’t destroy the apartment, you don’t have to worry about not getting it back. Kitchen could’ve had a little more stuff - bare minimum so was okay, but nothing more than the basics. A little noisy although that mostly wasn’t the apartments fault — mostly street noise (loads of sirens, car horns & the tram stop right outside) but the fridge made a weird buzzing noise.

Big and clean place, good value for money

Very big place, with a big and well-equipped kitchen, nice bathroom + 3 bedrooms, good wifi, very clean, and extremely close to the central station. Overall, good value for money !

The main issue was the noise transmitted through the ceiling : when neighbours upstairs were walking or jumping, you could hear it very clearly from the bedroom. Luckily they stopped shortly after midnight. I got a bit scared by the deposit of 100 euro / night (almost twice the booking price), but the owner was very correct and returned the entire deposit the same day. The check-out time at 10:00 is maybe a bit too early, but I wanted to visit the city, so no big deal.
