This homestay is either perfect for you or it's not. If you're unsure, it's probably not. Read the listing carefully. This is not just accommodation, this is an immersive experience and cultural exchange. Maybe even a spiritual awakening if you're not already awake. This is not a place for princes and princesses. But those with an open and curious mind will love the overall experience here.
One thing to note, if a pool is important to you, check in advance if it is available because during my stay the filter pump had issues requiring a spare part that was unavailable which meant that the pool was more like a frog pond

The location is amazing. Also the breakfast. Everything is really authentical if you want to escape the tourism in Bali, it is your place.
We did not manage to put the hot water in the shower, which was an outside bathroom.

Plain but comfortable rooms
Openness of room - because I love fresh air and sounds of nature when I sleep
Simple and tasty breakfasts in Balinese style (mix of banana, coconut and sticky rice)
Amazing views and a lot of beautiful places around (Virgin beach, Lahangan Sweet, Tirta Gangga, Taman Ujung, Gumang Temple)
Caring host and his family
I think it’s a very nice stay, especially for its price

It was away from everything but still accessible. Sandi and his son Song (and Widye) were so very helpful and ready for a chat. Proper Bali!! And we loved the army of ducks that went by the front gate every day.
It was a little disappointing that the pool was unavailable but considering how busy we ended up being, this wasn’t a huge hardship.

It says what it’s homestay at Sandies. He is the main reason for visiting this place and the village is wonderful. I would recommend to anyone who want to see real Bali
It rain during our stay so it was hard to use the bathroom that was outsside

- Excellent location if you plan to visit attractions near the place, nice for one over night sleeping
- Owner (Sandy) is very nice and kind man always smiling and guid you if needed
- Excellent value for money
- Rooms and beds is very clean
- Nothing to do once night coming
- Consider no pool as it’s very small , not clean and you can say it’s out of service
- don’t expect too much about facilities in country yard place

Sandi is very sweet and very likeable person. If you want, you can talk to him (or if he is not busy 😁) about his life experiences, you can learn a lot about Indonesia, Bali and spiritualism. We definitely recommend you take one of his classes either for self healing or his trip to the jungle. Unfortunately the weather didn't let us explore the jungle with him, but his home is lovely, calm and peaceful.
If you're looking for anything more than insight to true Bali, without crowds and tourists, this isn't for you :) This is authentic Bali, homestay in the middle of nowhere and (rice) fields.
Also if you're here in the rainy season like us, maybe consider that you might get wet.
Oh and bring your motorbike, you'll definitely need it. Or Sandi will help with rental.
Don't be afraid to ask him anything, he is willing to help.
Also lovely breakfast 😋
We were here in the rainy season and the cabin got (little bit) "flooded", but maybe (hopefully) Sandi will work it out in the future for other guests:)

The accommodation is basic with all you need and luxurious with a beautiful outside bathroom. The owners (Sandi and his wife) are so welcoming and friendly. I felt very comfortable and safe travelling on my own as a female. On top I booked a tour with Sandi where he went on a hike through the neighbourhood, the local market, rice fields while he shared interesting knowledge with me about the Indonesian culture. I stayed two nights and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a real Indonesian experience apart from tourism! The banana pancakes for breakfast were super delicious :-)

The family is very friendly and makes you feel welcome, it is a quiet place in the middle of nature.
Stores and markets are a bit far away.

Good indonesian breakfast, beautiful garden
Uncomfortoble hard pillow - we couldn't sleep there, in the morning i had headache
In the bathroom wasn't flowers (like in the photo), and stones was in one corner
In first time owener gave us room with two beds, but in room wasn't beds - only two mattress on the flor (but on the photo there is beds)
Our wall wasn't full - it's end before two metrs from the roof, so in our room was whoole betwen wall and roof
And room smelled bad.

There is Kind and friendly, in LinkeesHome you get both. I arrived and immediately were greeted by warm smiles. I enjoyed the house made Nasi Goreng as well as the walk in the rise field and the conversation with a cup of tee. The lovely Host has a good knowledge about the English language and Bali culture. He was patient enough to answer all my questions and showed me many things about local plant medicine and ancient wisdom. He was helping me to fulfill a wish and did a water ceremony with me and a small little temple near by. The area itself is a grounded and local, I am grateful to also discovered the real Bali a bit. I can hardly recommend to take some time and spend it here. kind regards, J

Really lovely and friendly host. He made us feel like home and gave us a lot of information about the Balinese culture & the area. Absolutely great, thank you so much! Good breakfast, nice and clean pool, great wifi, surrounded by nature. If you don't have any problems sleeping surrounded by animals, definitely a good place to stay.
There wasn't any mosquito cover, but apart of this all good!

Beautiful location, outdoor bathroom, small clean pool, helpful hosts with lot of interesting stories to tell. Would definitely stay again!
Mosque at 4am in the morning - not super close, but still the noise woke me up

Sandi is a very special host. He is very caring and helps in any situation. He is actually a healer and helped me with my twisted ankle. There was also a possibility to do a Vulcano tour. It’s a very spiritual and relaxing experience to stay at Linkees. The food from his wife Mimi is amazing and you get free coffee and tea all day long 😍

The staff is very friendly
too many sounds! the walls are made of bamboo so you can hear all the noise from outside. If you are a light sleeper like me, I don't recommend it.

The staff and the vibes were just perfect. We spent quite a long time talking to the owner, who told us many interesting things about Bali and its history and culture. Greatly recommended, especially if you want to fall asleep with the sound of the living jungle all around you.
That we could not stay more as our vacation was about to end :(

we had a very pleasant stay at Sandi’s home. he was so hospitable and very helpful regarding our questions, and offered many opportunities for us, such as food, trips and transport
unfortunately no mosquito net, but he promised to buy one for further guests

The place is so clean and nice, but the best part is the owner who is one of the most amazing people you'll meet he's so kind and helps others so much. It was a pleasure to sit with him and learn from him for hours. This is the best place to learn about Balinese culture.

Let's say it frankly, you don't go to LinKeesHome for the comfort of a 6 stars hotel but rather to go and directly help Balinese people, to understand their life, to share good discussions about the history and future of Bali. Sandi used to be a guide so he speaks very good English and has lots of experience.
The room and bathroom are simple, the walls are thin, but important here is that you share an experience of living with real and generous Balinese people. Settled in the middle of ricefields, the place is easy to find.
I definitely recommend this place. For the price, you don't risk a lot. This should be part of your discovery of genuine Bali. Just go there and have a real experience with local people !
After this pandemic, they need us.

The place is beautiful, just in the middle of paddy fields, well worth it the sunset. The Healing Yoga class was free, relaxing and trully inspiring. Overall this place is totally worth it for its price, and it allows you spending a couple days in the middle of true balinese way of life.
The bungalow is made of bamboo and it is not completely sealed, so the beds were a bit dusty and so was the bathroom. A quick cleaning just before arriving would be appreciated.
