Great value, very comfortable, super clean and friendly staff

Staff were super friendly, location had great snorkeling right across the road, just far enough away from the main bars to not be noisy but easy enough to get to via walking or bike. Private pool was a bonus after a snorkel to sit in.

Lovely hotel but disappointed in the beach access.

The room was lovely, with little extras you don't expect for the price, pool was lovely and always clean - breakfast was excellent and a unique idea.

The location was as advertised 150 metres from the beach, however it was through a block of land with an abandoned house and lots of rubbish. This was OK during the day but I would not venture through there on my own at night to get to the restaurants on the beach.

Peaceful sanctuary with excellent breakfast.

The most amazing thing was the cold and hot water dispenser in the room. Like others described, breakfast was excellent. Peaceful spot. Right next to a garden sanctuary spa and many food spots. Bed was comfy, room was spacious. Peaceful pool right outside.

Room had aircon but no fan. Shower was either boiling hot or cold, couldn’t get it to go in between,, but perhaps it was just my room. Wifi seemed on the weak side so I relied on my eSIM. Overall the pros outweighed the cons.

Good water pressure for the shower. Water station in the room providing instant hot water for tea/coffee and drinking water, without plastic bottles- better for the environment.

The jars were tricky to eat out of. The choir of roosters at 3am - but it is Bali 😆

Okay for the price

The room we had (No. 8) was quite large and well located to the pool. The front verandah was a pleasant place to sit and survey the world. The pool was okay, the water clean and a nice temperature. Breakfast was sufficient, we only had the one. The staff were friendly and cheerful. The walk to the beach is not too long and it's well positioned, with a money changer across the road, an Indo-mart to the right, and many Warungs nearby. We also appreciated that even though they don't have a refund policy as such, they refunded us 4 nights after we left early. Communication with the manager was good and they answered promptly.

The location on the main road is a little noisy. The establishment overall looks a little tired. The sun lounges around the pool are very low and could be difficult to get up from for elderly persons.

Good location but unhealthy stay.

Good location

The accommodation looked very nice in the photos. In reality, however, we found a shack with moldy walls, mold in the bathroom, a broken air conditioner, and dirty towels. On the last night, we even noticed that our duvet was moldy, which we hadn’t seen before because it was covered with a duvet cover. We were chasing cockroaches around the shack, and the breakfast was served in dishes with mold around the lids and elsewhere. The garden is in terrible condition, and it’s better not to explore the area around the shack. Next to our shack, someone had created a dump of empty beer bottles and other junk. It’s unbelievable that this accommodation is still in operation. And to make matters worse, although the hotel offers Wi-Fi, the internet barely works, if at all. The staff handled the broken air conditioner issue very willingly and efficiently. They also replaced the towels for us, but the overall mess, mold everywhere, and cockroaches are not things that can be fixed immediately — so be warned.

Beautiful laidback hideaway in the middle of Amed. One minute from the beach, which has lovely little cafes. Very good diving school right at the entrance.

The location.

The staff was by times friendly. But via what’s app a bit passive aggressive. Not professional. Also barely hot water for showering and WiFi in the room was poor.

Excellent value for money, family friendly spot from which to explore Amed and surrounding areas.

Loved the villa, perfect for a family of four. Light, airy and very clean with water dispenser (including hot water) and small fridge. Felt very private despite being in front of the pool. Really enjoyed the breakfast (choice between yoghurt-granola pot, chia seed pot, omelette jar and egg muffins, served with fresh juice, bread and spreads). Pool is well kept and in pleasant surroundings. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. There’s also a dive center (https://www.pranadive.com/) linked to the resort which I was not aware of when I made the booking so a pleasant surprise to find when we got there. They were able to organize a days dive trip to see the Manta Rays at Nusa Penida - well worth it!

The swimming pool, the breakfast, the garden, friendly staff, clean, the attention to details, only few meters from the beach, very good location in centre of Amed, the spa near door is a must try 🙂

Really clean, good accommodation. Don’t book your dolphin trip with the man outside of the hotel, there are more places and more cheap. The restaurant was good.

Great value and location

This place is excellent value for money, the staff clean the rooms daily and the comfort was exceptional. Good breakfast and nice clean pool. I liked the drinking water fountain in the room and USB plugs next to the bed. Owner had good recommendations for food too

The bed is very hard and the wifi connection is poor. To improve the wifi connecton i recommend the installation of a wifi repeater (20 USD investment).

The room was okay, nothing special but it was clean. We didn’t have any water at the refill thing though.

The place was totally catfished online. The pool was grean and super dirty and so were everything besides our room in the resort. The location was also bit sketchy and they started renovating the pool early in the morning without any warning. There was no proper reception and the stuff weren’t that friendly, but they understood when we said that the place was not what we expected. Me and my friend would not recommend.

Exceptional

This hotel really surprised us. It was very good value for money and quite cheap so we weren't expecting a lot, but it turned out to be very, very good. The rooms were large and very comfy, hot shower, fast WiFi, good air con and spacious with a nice bathroom. The breakfast was included and was the most surprising because it was delicious! Usually at hotels with an included breakfast they're very meh, but this was very well cooked and came with fresh juice, hot drinks, fruit and your choice of eggs and toast with jam. Genuinely impressed! Great breakfast! And also having your own hot and cold water dispenser in your room was a very nice touch. Also, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The whole place was super clean and well looked after. I noticed staff tending the grass and plants everyday. The swimming pool was awesome too, perfect temperature, clean and relaxing! I'd definitely recommend this hotel and would come back here on my next visit to Amed. Thank you!

Super amazing stay!

Oh I absolutely loved loved loved staying here. The manager Charel and his beautiful happy furbaby Ratri (Hope I write this right) received us and could not have been more helpful. The most helpful human I've ever experienced in my time on Bali. The bungalow we got was super clean and very new. It had a minifridge, unlimited water and coffee. There was plenty of room down and upstairs. The bathroom was so big, clean and beautiful. The pool was clean and had a nice temperature. Mind you, Charel took over the place and he is still renovating. He is doing the absolute best and a lot of it improved. There are still minor things he is renovating but the place looks absolutely beautiful. He is such a legend. Breakfast was delicious, especially the green banana pancakes! Breakfast comes with coffee and a fruit platter. The place is located so well. There are a lot of beautiful warungs in the area, and a Indomaret is right around the corner. He arranged for me to go diving with a private DM and arranged a taxi for us as well. Charel can also arrange scooters if that's necessary.

Exceptional

Great location, friendly staff and wonderful breakfast! There are purified water and dispensers in the rooms which was nice, and the outdoor bathroom/showers are awesome. Outdoor pool was warm and relaxing :) The staff also helped us with great deals for hiring a scooter and also the best spot for a money exchange (on a side note, the rumor is true about ATMs for foreigners. We went to all the ATMs we could find, as far as 45 minutes away, but still couldn't get cash out. The ATM seemed to work fine for local debit cards and impossible for our foreign debit cards. We ended up exchanging our euros and USDs at the spot the staff recommended and the fee per exchange was less than $3. Bring cash to Amed!)
