Perfect location

The staff were very helpful. Location was perfect, with a nearby supermarket, lots of restaurants and the beach

Loved the superior room

We took the superior room and stayed for over a week. Clean - they gave it even an extra clean after we stayed a few nights. Natural Light - there is a lot of natural light in the room and bathroom. Great shower - We also loved the open shower, with warm water and excellent pressure. Space - there was a closet for our stuff. Fresh sheets - I loved the fresh white sheets on the bed. Not one of those sweaty duvets or warm blankets, but just a lovely white fresh sheet. AC - works perfectly. Excellent view - on the volcano. Curtains that provide privacy. little private terrace with wooden chairs and table. Mega nice staff - good energy. We could get a scrambled egg every morning. Of course the walls in the bathroom aren't the newest anymore because of rain damage, but I'm keen on hygiene and it really didn't affect anything.

We took the wooden table outside to put our bathroom stuff on. The bathroom is nicely spacious but I needed a place to put my toiletries. Was no problem for the staff.

Friendly, good location, big rooms

Location. Staff Wayan very nice. Breakfast is basic but tasty. Rooms are a good size. Bathroom is big.

To leave the sliding doors open for fresh air is inviting mosquitoes. Room can get stuffy due to lack if real windows. They have unscreened windows in the bathroom but leave that door open and then you may get them. Lack of basic things. Bedside table and lamp, toilet roll holder, inside table to put stuff on. There is a basic smallish shelving thing but it's not enough.

Okay but not family vibes

It was cheap and in a central location

Reading the reviews I was expecting a much better and nicer welcome from the lady who works here. In the end she was really trying to make money out of everything and exploit as max as possible... It was not an unpleasant stay, but let's say I didn't feel treated as family...

In Amed you can find much more comfortable and quiet places

This place is right on the road.. we had first floor room and there NO privacy at all cause it’s facing walking path and everybody watching (you can close curtains but than it’s boiling hot). Also was no rubbish bin not inside or outside room. Just not cosy at all, we run away after one night

Lovely peaceful spot, amazing host who makes delicious food and helped us to find snorkelling spots and transport out of amed. Loved it to much we ended up extending our stay a few more nights

do not book standard room

- location - view from terrace (superior room)

on arrival we noted the sheets in our room felt damp and asked for new one which also had blood on them. after having 2 of the standard rooms for a few hours we noted how damp room 5 was and this in turn made the bathroom smell, our sheets damp and our clothes to become damp and smell. although the other room was cleaner it was still slightly damp. we spoke to reception about moving to an air con room which she couldn’t do until the next night. which resulted in all our clothes smelling. there was also lots of bugs everywhere be warned if you can’t see the superior and standard room at your time of booking the standard only has a fan in the room. on moving to our room the next day we found out that one of the air conditioning units was broken and the mechanic had been called but we’re not keep update and had to speak to reception last afternoon. which they then had management come to fix the air con and had a better night sleep. one of the superior rooms also had mould on the ceiling breakfast also wasn’t very nice and only had on one of the days

Superb

Excellent location, next to Indomaret and warungs and 2 minutes walk to the beach. Wayan and her niece are very nice people. We got the Superior room with view of Mt. Agung. Great quality-price ratio!

- Wifi is slow so I suggest that you get a local sim, I got XL sim with 130GB for 250k good for 1 month. - Breakfast is simple, you have a choice of pancake or eggs and coffee or tea with some fresh fruits. Although some people are not content with that, for the price, we can't really ask a lot.

Very good place that could be amazing with some adjustments

Great location, nice hosts and very good value for money for a big room with a terrace and hot shower.

The breakfast was very average and I was expecting more from the picture I saw. It must be old pictures. As written in most comments, the wifi is bad in the rooms but working ok at the restaurant, so no surprise. I was just surprised that my SIM card with 4G was also poorly working in the room. Finally I found it sorry that there is no access to drinking water to fill in our bottles. It was possible, but has to be done by the host and I have to pay for it.

Breakfast was good and tasty. The host is very kind and helpful, she made me a takeaway breakfast for leaving early in the morning :).

Great value for money, good location

The host is very welcoming and the food you can get there is very nice. We had the room on the second floor, which was peaceful and quiet. The facilities were clean and there is hot water in the shower.

Nothing major, but the bed made noises when moving because of the string mattress. There was no cleaning of even the outside of the room in the time we stayed there.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet établissement ! Le personnel est incroyable, toujours aux petits soins et d’une gentillesse. Nous avons tellement aimé que nous avons décidé de rester une nuit de plus. L’hébergement est très propre et bien entretenu. Le restaurant est également excellent : on y mange vraiment très bien, avec une cuisine savoureuse et de qualité. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Como en casa o mejor

La pareja que lleva el Homestay es extramadamente hospitalaria y cercana. Hablamos muchas mañanas y noches con Waian, nos contaba su vida, nosa acercaba a sus costumbres y nos hacia sentir en casa. Yo me sentí cuidada como una hija. La ubicación es perfecta, estas cerca del centro pero lo suficientemente alejada como para poder descansar. Tampoco es un lugar de mucho ambiente, así que el ruido tampoco es un problema muy grande. A pocos minutos andando hay un karaoke rasta donde pasabamos las noches, impresionante.

Todo fue perfecto. Siempre llevaré a Waian en mi corazón. Si lees esto, volveré a visitarte algún día. Gracias por todo.
