Dogs barking all night , arrogant family who instead of apologize normali se the fact that its normal that dogs living in the house spend the night barking They also sell a room with no view as a moi rain view. Be careful you wont get the view of the pics

Good deal homestay for this price, quiet location.

Nice homestay, nice family. The room was very clean with a large balcony with beautiful view . 10 minutes walk to the center. Breakfast had nice green pancakes.

The most amazing Homestay!!!

Wow where do I even begin. I stayed here for a few nights and absolutely loved every minute of it. The Homestay is run by Juliani and her family who are the sweetest people and will do everything they can to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. You really get to experience Balinese culture and hospitality here and I would highly recommend staying here for anyone coming to visit Amed. I can’t wait to come back!!

- Very friendly people - Loved the banana pancake I had for breakfast. - They allowed me to have a later check out, I could keep my bags and have a quick shower in the late afternoon after I come from the beach. - overall good value for money

- Wifi wasn’t the best. - I expect a room with a view but got one downstairs that was hard to close so I mostly kept it open.

The best homestay in Amed!

I stayed at Tanaya Homestay for one month, I was looking for somewhere with strong wifi so I could work online, close to a dive shop and in a peaceful location, and all my expectations were exceeded! I cannot thank the family for making me feel so welcome and at home, and for all the care and attention they have put into making sure that their guests have everything they need. A great breakfast was included every morning with different options available, plus additional options to upgrade and pay for, the lunch and dinner menu was delicious with lots of options, there was scooter hire available or they will drop you where you need to go in the town, wifi was available in the room and in the cafe, rooms were clean and airconditioned, hot water in the shower, short walking distance to the beach, view of the sunset over Mount Agung from the rooftop, Diving With Jim's dive shop was opposite for great local diving (and locally owned) and I was invited to family ceremonies which was an amazing experience. I can't wait to come back again! :)

It is a long drive from the airport but if you message them they will arrange airport taxi for a reasonable price.

We were greated by friendly owners and advised with the best options of activities nearby as well better routes than gmaps 😊 room itself is a fair for the price. As a bonus you will get 360 view on a large rooftop that can be used to chill ant time.

There was no blanket so it was chilly to sleep under a sheet with an aircon on (if you turn it off, it gets stuffy). apart from that, everything was great

Little heaven near the rice field

This is a little heaven! Good location and the family is so nice ! They upgraded me to a room with view on the rice field as it was empty ! And their café downstairs is great ! Best coffee I ever had !! It's quiet at night. I enjoyed my stay ! Thanks 🙏

The family was very hospitable. The room was clean and there was a view on Agung from terrace. Breakfast was tasty and other food in Melon Cafe really good. We rented equipment for snorkelling and spent a good day on the beaches. Thanks!

We had an amazing time at Tanaya. Room is nice and clean, breakfast was great. the newly opened cafe offers super delicious food for a very fair price. The view from the roof top is simply stunning. you can see the agung, rice fields, nearby hills - very beautiful! the hosts are the nicest persons you can imagine! definitely going to be back.

Had an amazing stay here. We initially booked for 1 week but ended up staying for 3 weeks. The family and all the staff who work here are really friendly and helpful. We arranged their driver to pick us up from the airport, rented a motorcycle and even went on a trip to Nusa Penida and Mt. Bromo (mainland Indonesia) with them, all for a very fair price (you don't need to haggle with them as they give you the good price from the start). The room was comfortable and a good size. The WiFi was good (I used it for my work teaching English online without any problems). The bathroom was spacious. The restaurant on the property is great too. The free breakfast is a choice of omelette, scrambled egg or pancake, with tea/coffee and fruit juice or fruit salad. Amed beach is about a 5 minute walk away. It's a black sand/stoney beach. The water is calm and good for snorkeling and swimming. The next beach is about a 15 minute walk away, or a few minutes on the scooter. It's definitely worth renting a scooter if you stay in Amed. We rode to the monkey forest in Ubud (2 hours each way) and the scenery on the way was beautiful. I don't think you'll find better value than here. I hope to come back again one day.

Norman and Julianna were so friendly and accommodating! Tanaya homestay is conveniently placed and has amazing views of Mt. Agung and the rice fields. There is also a cute little cafe called Melon Cafe that serve amazing food and drinks. I had the Mie Goreng from there and it was superb. Thanks again Norman and Julianna for hosting me, I will definitely be back and recommending Tanaya Homestay to anyone visiting Amed!

Amazing place and people!

Super clean, big room, perfect location, great WiFi, amazing view from the rooftop (check it out day and night!). They have a little cafe in front where you can get coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The nicest people! He picked us up from the airport (3 hour drive!), and she had the best recommendations. It felt like family! We could rent a motorbike and snorkels with them, which was also very convenient.

Bring an eyemask if you want to sleep through the sunrise.

Perfect hub

The hosts were so friendly and helpful. We rented scooters, snorkelling equipment and booked ferry to Gili through them. Lovely spacious room with a stunning view over fields of rice, potatoes and corn. Short walk to the beach Delicious breakfast from their Melon Cafe We didn’t want to leave there or Amed!

Awesome Place to enjoy Amed !

Tanaya Homestay is a very special place very conveniently located in Amed. The Family running this amazingly welcoming homestay really care for its guests and provide all the different services you would expect (pickup, scooter rental, laundry) at a very fair price. There is also a very nice terrace with a great view over Mount Agung. The cafe/restaurant part of the homestay provides you with very good food also fairly priced. We would definetly recommend staying at Tanaya Homestay for a trip in Amed, and do not hesitate to take the time to discuss with the awesome Family running the show there !

Very good

Tanya is extremely nice and her place has an amazing roof top to view the sunset over the volcano. It is very close to the beach, just some 3minutes drive. Tanyas restaraunt there is awesome, great food, everything fresh, great prices.

The bed was extremly hard, not comfortable atball and the AC is just above the bed so we had to stop it during the night and it became very hot there.

Wonderful stay.

4 months travelling SEA & this is one of the best accomodations ive stayed in. The family running Tanaya were the friendliest most helpful people ever, the room was spotless & very big, the roof terrace was amazing for sunset, very relaxing. The cafe that is part of the homestay was delicious for breakfast also. They helped us with bike rental & also organised our ferry to Gili T.
