Could hear tv and voices from other rooms. Tv in the room was very high on the wall, had lots of black marks. The locks seemed dodgy and difficult to unlock at times

Location is great.

The cottage is in severe need of updating. There's a kettle but the sink is so small, you can't fit the kettle under the tap to actually use it. The walls are extremely thin and the TV in the room next door is right where the head of the bed is in yours. Even at a low volume level, you hear every single word.

I paid for a service that I did not receive. Very poor. Lack of service and no contact to make any attempts at restitu

Nothing! I was unable to experience the property. I went there on the day of my booking to request an early check in or be given access details, as I was otherwise engaged until late in the evening. A staff member was unable to assist me in any way but stated that the the owner would be in touch later in the day with details to explain how to access the property in the evening. I was not contacted by the owner so I was forced to arrange and pay for alternative accommodation. Very poor service and I remain out of pocket. 🙁😕😖😫

Ok for airport access but not good value for money.

Parking was good.

No toiletries, hair dryer or breakfast. Space between wall and foot of beds very tight. Location on a very busy roundabout, no local facilities, just one very expensive pub 200m away.

Exceptional

Lovely warm and friendly owners. They were welcoming, chatty, friendly and helpful. Stayed both before and after our flight and it was a lovely extension to our holiday. Nothing was too much trouble. Very accommodating with check in, room was perfect, comfortable and spotless. Had a lovely sleep after a long flight. I'll be making sure we fly more regularly from Newcastle airport now just so we can stay at Stone cottage and extend our holiday! Thankyou for a lovely stay and for our lovely chats

Great Cottage, so close to Airport

What a lovely cottage to stay at, and so close to the airport which was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this little gem of a place to stay if you needing the airport. Would stay again that's for sure and proprietor was very helpful.

Convenient airport stay

Second year we have stayed, ideal for the airport, hosts are great, give you all the info and let you get on with it...3 of us (adults)so we book the family room (bunkbeds) but definitely worth it. We walked up to the airport with cases for the twilight drop off it's that convenient. Flights booked for next year so will be looking to book again.

There is traffic noise but you have to expect that...it does die down, we all managed to get sleep before a 3:00 am start. Do not let it put you off

Very Friendly and Great Location for the Airport

Amazing location with regards to proximity to the airport, and lovely owners. Couldn’t fault that. Room was also great and perfect for our needs. Can’t comment on the breakfast as we were gone before hand.

I would suggest packing earplugs, the roads surrounding are very active all night. Equally, we lost all water during our stay - awoken by a Northumbrian Water Technician hammering away at 4am - not the B&Bs fault but an annoyance.

The Guest house was Immaculate and the location was perfect for Newcastle Airport. Kevin & Joan are so lovely and extremely helpful. We will definitely return to stay at this beautiful cottage.

Perfect guesthouse, great location to Newcastle airport.

The owner was very friendly, the accommodation was very clean & important to me the bed was very comfortable. Great location to the airport about 400 yards. There was a pub just down the road The Badger, we had lovely food there.

Large, clean room, we had a family room for the two of us. Powerful shower Good coffee cups! Iron made available on arrival. Friendly hosts Comfy bed. Plenty of mirrors.

Dressing table mirror a little unsecure. But everything else was perfect.

Comfy beds and great location

Bathroom shower cubicle was tired and need a good clean, I wiped the tiles with some toilet tissue and could see dirt coming off. There was.no seating, dining or kitchen area as listed on description which maybe was how it used to be, but is not now. The only real thing I didn't like was the.moment I stepped through the door the lady said hello but then went to get the card machine for payment, no pleasantries it was straight to business and not really the best welcome. I'm sure whe is lovely but that's just how it happened when I arrived.
