Clean and very comfortable for 2 adults and 1 child in a family room.

The cooked breakfast is very poor. I couldn’t eat it at all. I am sorry to write this as everything was great otherwise. There were some cold alternatives but this was a massive shame.

Large bedroom - good sized bathroom

The room was large and had a huge wet room. There was an iron and ironing board and also a hairdryer. Also there were tea making facilities. The beds were comfortable.

Although the bathroom was clean, the push-button toilet was very difficult to flush - especially for a disabled person.

Daylight robbery pet charge!

Both Booking.com and Holiday Inn websites stated that "charges for pets may apply". On arrival we were presented with a non negotiable £30 charge for one night! The charge for the double room for one night was £48 for 2 people...... so the charge for the dog was more than the charge per person... and he did not have breakfast either!

It was adequate for the shopping experience

The room was nice and clean close to the shopping centre

The food was not very good it was just warm and the sausages were like they were reheated and rubbery bacon was very tough as it had been reheated too scrambled egg was lukewarm did not enjoy the breakfast therefore did not try an evening meal

good breakfast, the room was a bit small, & no air vent in bathroom. The bed, too was rather small. There was no plug outlet near the bed.

My room was not cleaned or made up at all during the stay. I had to empty my own trash bins, & get extra toilet rolls. AND the manager on day shift, Sharon somehow, for reasons unknown to me, totally ignored my greetings, or when I tried to speak with her. Very disrespectful & unprofessional. She behaved like a grumpy angry old school mistress. And that reflected on the rest of the staff.

I loved the location as it is within walking distance to the metrocentre. Also the view outside was very lovely. Room was upto standards and very comfortable and clean.

Amazing staff but uncomfortable sleep

The staff was amazing, kind and courteous. Overall clean and tidy place

So if you’re looking for peaceful sleep and are a light sleeper don’t even think of booking this places. There’s this buzzing sound and as per the staff there it is owing to the factory in vicinity. You’ll put your head on pillow and hear machine buzzing sound.

all in all a very pleasant experience

Even though the breakfast area was very very busy on the Saturday and Sunday, staff made sure the tables were cleared and Sanitised before new clients were seated. All the food was topped up as and when required, a very smooth operation. It is easy to see all members of the team are well trained.

The price of the room could have been lower, but then maybe the Hotel would have been totally booked up and I would have not been able to book,
