A cheap hotel for ease of getting to the airport early doors.

If you want to be close to the airport, then the location is great; it's only a short walk away. It's not particularly close to anything else, though.

The rooms are a bit dated and while generally clean, there are lots of corners being cut. I knew what I was expecting, though.

Wonderful, inviting and comfortable.

The breakfast is lovely, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are brilliant. They can’t do enough for you. Especially the check in staff, and Abby. They are friendly, polite, and when they recognise you they really go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. Tonight I had dinner, which was very good, and served very well. I keep coming back to the hotel because of this, and they are always pleased to see you. Would recommend to anyone!

The lack of parking close to the entrance is a little disappointing as I suffer from Arthritis and it can be a little hard to walk.

Nice on the outside

Daytime staff are great at helping and giving direction. The vacinity to the airport is great.

Night time staff member was slow, seemed like he was napping in the back office. My room seemed clean and tidy, but by looking at the old furniture and fixtures, it felt not clean and needs a huge renovation.

How close it was to the airport. The staff were somewhat helpful when ordering a taxi but not all had the same helpfulness.

The twins beds were very small twins, more like caravan size beds. The furniture was old and in desperate need of updating. The room was not very clean, with cobwebs in the corners, dust and food debris on the boxing for the heating pipes. The towel rail in the bathroom was very rusty, needs replacement. The shower curtain could do with updating as does the shower both look very old and tired. The flush for the toilet was coming loose from the system. There was a stain in the bathroom from where the hot water ran, the hot water tap was difficult to turn off. Dinner in the on-site restaurant was not very good. I was told by reception i could have a table for 18:40, I eventually got seated at 19:00. The cavery was poor quality, there was no bread roll with the soup, the meat was chewy. There was no water glass on the table ( I had to ask for a glass). The water was not refreshed after the previous diners, no drinks qere offered with the meal. The menu stated the server would invite guests to choose the main course, after diners had finished their starters, this did not happen. The chef had to be called from the kitchen to serve the meat, this resulted in a long wait for service. The chef never spoke or smiled during the sweving of the meat, he seemed very nervous and no interst in being there. The housekeeping team were complaining about working conditions and said the had to cut corners, I heard some of the team swearing.

Enjoyed evening meal, good value for money. Staff polite and helpful.

Nothing we didn't like, only thing was we had to get taxi across to airport due to husband unable to walk. Only a short distance and they charged £12.

One person working in the bar and serving food. People standing in line to get served for a very long time. The barman could do no more than he did. Just understaffed. The place is so old and worn out rooms. In 2025. This should not be the case for a hotel next to the airport. So bad. So uncomfortable. So bad service but it's not the staff fault

The Hotel could do with a upgrade. Especially in room 9. Shower knob fell on the floor. Cracked floor tile Grouting around the bath floor and in between tiles coming away. Crack in sink. Mirror needs replacing. Entrance to main entrance. Windows need cleaning. Cobwebs in corners.

Disappointed by being allocated a room that is very past its best.

Check in was great - efficient and quick following on-line check in two days previous to arrival.

Room ( ground floor No17) was shabby, contained tired old furniture and two single beds had been pushed together to form a large double despite the hard sides of the singles forming a very uncomfortable ridge between the two soft elements. Toilet was “tired” , had no toilet roll holder and smelled rather “drainy”. Room preparation was good but this was a clear “can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear” scenario. I stayed in this hotel a few days before , on second floor, and the room was very good!

Good location for Newcastle Airport. Friendly and helpful staff. Arrived at 2am after late flight and it was no problem. Room warm and clean. Excellent buffet breakfast at good price.

Booked originally with onsite parking but was told because of a football event we had to pay £105 just for hotel room as they had blocked off car park. Made a new reservation via booking.com. For a fraction of the price. This left a nasty taste for future bookings.

The staff were typically friendly and helpful. I chose the hotel because a family celebration was being held there. It was convenient for this reason

Paying for carparking. I only ate 1 breakfast in the hotel, which was for convenience only. The dishes in which the food was kept were hot, the self service serving utensils were hot ... the food was lukewarm. I was pleased that I had not pre-paid for my breakfast, as I would not have bothered on the second day. I didn't sleep well, as the one pillow provided was too hard. The hotel is clearly used by people waiting to cross the road to the nearby airport for flights at all hours. Consequently, people were moving around the hotel during the night. On our second night, we were disturbed by someone opening our door but not entering the room The staff, however, were typically friendly and helpful

Hotel is very worn and tired looking. Looks like it was built in the 1980s and no changes since. A 1980s hotel would be actually ok if the decor was maintained. Chipped doors and walls, old tired room furniture, rusty plug holes etc, etc. ok for one night.

Bed was far too small, not flat at all, right next to a radiator, extremely thin walls and doors meant that you can hear people all night in the corridor, depressing decor, shower door broken and replaced with a cheap shower curtain, no water pressure at all . Terrible nights sleep
