Michelangelos

Lovely, clean, and comfortable room. The bed and mattress were of excellent quality, and I had a very good night's sleep. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was fantastic. The portions were generous, and the food was of a very high standard. We stayed in the family room and, unfortunately, there was a noticeable iron burn mark in the middle of the carpet. Breakfast was cooked to order, with tea and coffee available on request. Overall, the breakfast was enjoyable. However, the sausages were not of the same quality as the rest of the meal, and when we ordered additional pots of tea, the tea bags were not replaced. The restaurant staff were helpful throughout our stay, although at times they seemed a little abrupt when speaking with guests.

Rooms are clean and have everything that you need. Pleasantly quiet and a lovely breakfast.

Clean and friendly staff

Really enjoyed our stay at Michaelangelos. The staff were helpful, kind and patient with 2 old fogeys - always a plus for us - and extremely polite. Our room no.4 was spotless, beds comfortable and above all quiet. Unfortunately we'd already eaten with family on the way there so we didn't have occasion to try the restaurant in the evening however if the breakfast was anything to go we missed a treat - continental for me, a choice from the full english for my husband (best fried egg he 's ever eaten in a restaurant). Our stay was midweek so we can't comment on any difference in noise levels at weekend but when we are next in the area we'll certainly try Michaelangelos first.
