Courmayeur is an amazing place!!!

We liked the location and the big room although it was not cheap..

It was very average on the cleaning as they didnt change the bathrobes on the first night no replenishment of the tissues - paper toilet tooth brash.. very expensive charge for a kids pasta room service 32 euros…and the gym was below average for that kind of hotel…

Don’t share Credit Card Details with them!

They took my credit card details in a paper which was questionable for me, although I did it and the day after I left the place 3 Amazon transitions were made!! The card was new first time using it in there and they are the only ones who have the credit card details, I don’t have a doubt that one of the receptionist which we got in a fight with before checking out used it because she has the credit card details (number, name, expiry date and security number) in writing not with a machine like a normal whit paper! Five star no way, fraud hotel!! They have a very bad concierge services nothing was booked for us, not only that but they confirmed some of the bookings and then when we arrived to the restaurant or whatever, there isn’t any booking done and it happened multiple times. The concierge needs a concierge!

Beyond my expectations, truly enjoyed my stay

Outstanding stay!

New, well maintained. Room was spacey, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was magnificent. There is a shuttle to town center or bus station.

It’s about 8-10 min walk from town center, but shuttle service compensates for it.

Outstanding location! You couldn't be closer to Mount Blanc! Clean and comfortable, great design! Truly beautiful place! Tasty breakfast with plenty of choice

The Spa and Pool area sadly is a diseaster, very small pool extremally busy with loud kids jumping to the water and splashing all the guests relaxing on the sunbeds. Absolutely not possible to rest or relax. Also the massage rooms that are close to the pool do not give a chance to properly reset. Though we were told it will be improved

A beautifully designed hotel with fantastic breakfasts and a great spa

We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel Courmayeur. The hotel itself is stunning — with beautiful design, stylish and comfortable rooms, a fantastic spa, and thoughtful complimentary touches at check-out. Breakfasts were truly outstanding, probably the best of our entire trip.

There are, however, a few things to keep in mind before booking. The hotel is located a fair distance from the ski lifts, although they do provide a shuttle service. At peak times, you may need to wait due to traffic in town or limited availability of the cars. Also, while professional, the staff could have been more warm and welcoming in their approach. Finally, the hotel has a cigar lounge, which is a nice touch, but unfortunately cigars cannot be purchased on site, even though the reception initially said it was possible

Being greeted by the GM Claudio Coriasco with polite discussions about our holiday expectations enabled him to assist us personally - what a wonderful experience. The helpfulness of the team with transport to town/skyway overcame perceived travel difficulties and nothing was too difficult for them. Always smiling and remembering what we were doing/or had done to greet us personally - excellent service.

Not having air conditioning. We left the doors open at night although felt a bit exposed on ground level with easy access for critters/people (maybe screens and ceiling fans would help if you didn't want to add air conditioning?). It wasn't too hot as we arrived the day after the heatwave so we were fine - just thinking of other guests.

In the outskirts of Courmayeur, nice mountain view

A modern hotel. Nice and attentive staff

The room I booked was with a balcony and more expensive than the standard room, but it was not worth it: had a view on the back side, and was darker. I changed to the front side with the nice view but the hotel couldn’t refund as I paid directly with booking.com Breakfast quality very average.

Is this a 5 start???

Good location, view from the room was nice.The spa is OK despite the complete empty deck outside.

It's unexplainable how this hotel could have 5 stars! Quality of breakfast was very poor, staff unfriendly.. The bedroom didn't even have a coffee / tea machine. The decor and the furniture of the building are so "minimalistic" that it feels so empty, cold, and nearly unfinished. The large terrace on first floor has a few cheap sofas and tables, not even a plant or decoration. Sad.

We went on a romantic getaway and thought we’d treat ourselves to the best hotel in Courmayeur. Unfortunately, the Grand Hotel lacked charm and atmosphere from the moment we entered. Literally, zero Alpine/cosy feeling. It’s large, modern, minimalist hotel with zero vibe.

Very nice hotel in courmayeur

Hotel was clean, and modern, location is very good with only few minutes walking to via di roma , nice spa as well. Reception staff are very friendly and helped us book a really nice restaurant.

Breakfast is too poor, and u have to pay extra for eggs. There is no kettle in the room. The only problem i have is that it's too expensive for what is being offered.

Great stay, hope will be perfect next time

This was our second stay at this hotel, but this time we asked for a Junior suite. It was very spacious and comfortable. Before arrival we asked for a crib, which was already inside, but in the evening we decided to get another one for our little girl as we preferred not to use the sofa bed, they provided it within approx.10 minutes, which was great! The staff is very friendly and polite!

Since there are no air conditioning in the rooms (which is understandable being in the mountains), we left the windows and doors a bit open for the nights. Unfortunately our room was very close to the garbage area, and the first night (after 11pm) our children woke up for the noise of the glasses crashing in the trash which was very loud. The other nights we paid more attention and immediately closed the doors when we heard what was about to happen. A few nights before we left there was a family with 2 dogs under our room, and they were fighting 2 nights with their neighbours’ dog, which again forced us to close everything. The morning of our check-out we learned that they finally asked for another room, but it was unpleasant to hear them 2 nights straight.
