The room was stunning!

The pool for 10 Euros wasn’t worth it. Pool wasn’t warm and I had to wait for the sauna. I asked for a refund instead.

It's a good hotel with an excellent location. We booked the hotel because of the spa, but once we got there, I was informed that we had to book in advance, so it was a disappointment. Breakfast can be improved.

A comfortable two night stay but I don’t think it would be my first choice for a return visit.

The hotel has a good location which is convenient for the bus station and tourist information. The spa facilities are basic but pleasant. Helpful on reception when I needed to borrow an adapter pug. Breakfast was plentiful and had a nice range of items.

The set dinner service was poor. As I single traveller I felt insignificant amongst the busier tables of multiple guests. The young waiter was unfamiliar with what was available on the menu or even what accompanied each dish….having said this, the manager did attend my wine needs which was appreciated.

Disappointing

The hotel felt cosy and the bar downstairs was a great place to have a few drinks. Great location to the town but nothing was open due to the season ending.

We arrived and after a long day travelling we wanted to use the sauna / pool facilities, we went down there but the door to get in was locked. The sign showed it was suppose to stay open until 9pm, it was only 7pm. We went to ask the person at the reception if they could open it for us but they said no, when we asked why he couldn't give us an answer. The person we were talking to was the owner. His attitude was very clear that he couldn't be bothered to be spending money on running he facilities. They did not inform us when we booked it wasn't working nor when we checked in. Felt like we were ripped off, one of the main reasons we booked here was to use those facilities. The breakfast was very average with fruit that was almost going off.

Good value; easy connections everywhere

The hotel is a good value for its price. There is a nice upscale restaurant with a fireplace on the premises. The personnel is very helpful. The rooms (in December) were well insulated and heated; the temperature was easy to control. The bathroom equipment was new and super clean. The shower water pressure was strong. The rooms were cleaned regularly. The lobby is comfortable to hang out. The city outside is quiet at night. The breakfast is abundant and the coffee is strong.

Not a bad hotel on balance, but not quite right for us.

Room was charachterful, with a four poster bed, a good size and was clean. The hotel's restaurant was good and the meal we had was excellent despite the wine being expensive . The guest sitting room was pleasant and the location was very close the the centre of Courmeyeur with only a short walk into town. The young waiters were very good, both at breakfast and in the evening.

The room was quite dark and was cold with no means of heating other than the radiators which were not on. We also found that we were close to an air con unit which was loud and switched on and off all night. Our room overlooked a building site which didn't matter too much as it was not balcony weather but it could have impacted more. The parking is very tricky to access and fills up quickly. The pool has to be booked in advance and costs 10 euros per person, but this does give exclusive use but we didn;t know this when we booked the hotel. Finally, if you order tea and happen to use two tea bags you will be charged twice, which I think is a bit excessive.

Very nice place to unwind and get a good night's sleep after a hard hike.

The room was very clean and the toiletries were of high quality (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash, soap). Good hair dryer. I had a small balcony that was nice. Bed was comfortable with nice linens. The location was great. Just a short walk to the bus stop - I rolled my suitcase up the hill with no problems. Also, easy walk to the start of many hiking trails.

I thought the restaurant was dark, gloomy and expensive. I ate elsewhere in the town. But most restaurants in Courmayeur are expensive so be prepared. There was a small grocery store right across the street where I bought yogurt, buns, meat and cheese and made my own lunch.
