A week with kids over half term. They absolutely loved Courmayeur and the hotel was also a highlight of our stay.

Nice place with nice people!

It is located near shops and restaurants, plus a short walk to the ski lift! Friendly staff a good variety of food for breakfast.

Has more potential

The hotel had a charm. The common area + bar were cute but not working when we were there.

There was a stain on the curtain that looked like blood. There were tiny black hairs on the bed. They only had sheet curtains so the light from the street came in our room all night. The breakfast was not good quality and limited.

Nice place where you could still feel as part of the history as it kept the old details and design of the hotel. It was clean and had a good vibe with the mountain view and a balcony to chill outside and enjoy the sunshine with the view. Staff is very friendly. Comfy, cozy, clean.

Pleasant experience

This hotel is your typical 3 star mountain hotel. It has a prime location close to everything. Overall, a pleasant experience and very clean.

The hotel needs to tighten up here and there: additional plugs in the rooms, breakfast offer, sauna is paying only and WiFi just doesn’t work! Overall a pleasant stay but some of the staff was quite stuck up and made us feel quite uncomfortable.

Pleasant

The location is really good, the hotel walls are quite thin so you can hear everyone coming and going and the lift going up and down. Luckily they turn lift off over night so it does not wake you up.

Walls are paper thin, breakfast buffet could be nicer with quality of food. Ie fresh bread or croissants.

We had a wonderful and delightful experience here at the "hotel Centrale" in Courmayeur, the hotel is really nice, close to the sky facilities and in the centre of the town. Silvio especially was such a great person to meet, he's a receptionist and also a barman who served us a wonderful aperitif with a twisted but at the same time very tasty spritz campari, aka pirlo, recipe, with also a lot of delicacies just for us. We really felt like special guests. So my advice is to definetly check out this place, you'll surely enjoy it, trust me

morning Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, unfortunately we can’t say the same for the night shift receptionist Silvio. He came across pretty rude and certainly not as welcoming as the morning staff.

Breakfast is great. Location can't be better.

Soundproof is not good: our room is beside the elevator well. Every time the lift moves or stops, you can clearly hear that. Luckily it stops around 11pm. And a small tip: be careful at checkout. We have already paid the full amount on booking.com but when checked out, at the beginning the man at the reception said we had not paid, until that we insisted and showed him the booking payment confirmation. Maybe that was just an accidental mistake.

Charming and relaxing

Quaint and with wonderful service. The waiter at breakfast is a true gentleman.

I don’t really like needing to leave a key behind, but I understand this is common in older European hotels.
