Good location close to the main square, only a 7 min walk to the ski lift. Decent breakfast, not a big assortment but some good local products. A lot of sweets. Good standard on the rooms, at least in the annex (deluxe room) which is located in a separate building. Did not try the spa facilities.

We made a mistake but got no help more than referring to their policy, Arriving late with a family with small childs you are in a vulnarable situation, We were asking for some help but they was only referring to their policy. When complaining we instead were thrown out from the hotel. It was in this case good for us because we found a much nicer and friendlier place and we stayed in Cormayour for a week. It's a good location of the hotel bit be careful to complain, they can not handle that in a proffesional way.

Lovely family run hotel with annex, right in centre of town. Short walk to ski lift and restaurants and bars. We had a deluxe room in the annex building, which was newly built yet in a traditional style. This had the benefit of a very big room, separate shower room to the main bathroom, underfloor heating, fridge and big balcony. There was a clever unground tunnel to the hotel's spa and breakfast was taken in the main building.

Just returned from 4 nights in Berthod. Great 3 star hotel centrally located in the pedestrianized zone of this quaint and classy town of Courmayeur. There is no real noise pollution from outside and the room was clean, a good size and spotlessly cleaned daily. Breakfast was exactly what I'm used to with a good selection of meats, cheese, breads, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, and cakes. Of course being in Italy the coffee is also excellent. You may find the beds and pillows very firm but this wasn't a problem for me. Overall, solid value for money and well worth considering.

Wonderful hotel. Very nice room (2 levels) for 5 of us. Stayed here for a day off while hiking Tour du Mont Blanc. Great location--just a few steps from main walkway/shopping; and right on the TMB route. Very clean. Helpful staff. Wonderful view (french doors opened onto small balcony). Breakfast buffet was wonderful--extensive variety of meats/cheeses, breads/pastries, cereals, yogurts, eggs, fruit, juices, even chocolates and cookies. Highly recommend Hotel Berthod.

We cannot adequately express how much we loved this family-run hotel. The reception, the views, the breakfast. This is a hotel we will highly recommend and will revisit. The women at the reception/bar were so kind and so accommodating. They made you feel like you belonged there. The breakfast was extensive. It was 99% cold buffet but the spread was impressive. We stayed in a room for 4. It had a bed downstairs and a loft with a twin and a sofa bed upstairs. The views were spectacular off the balcony, even though it was a rainy day. I cannot wait to return to this hotel!

Very friendly family run hotel in a good position in the centre of town and 10 minute walk (with skis) to the cable car. Nice mountain view from the breakfast room and a really relaxed feeling to the hotel. I did not have time to try the sauna. Mix of guests from UK, Sweden, Norway, etc mainly for piste bashing.

The hotel is lovely, staff are friendly and the breakfast was delicious. It was in a great location close by to the lift and restaurants and we loved the jacuzzi and sauna facilities after a day on the slopes although the jacuzzi could have been a little warmer.

Spacious, clean, modern and comfortable room. Great bathroom also. Had a large balcony which overlooked Mont Blanc - beautiful! Only slight negative was that it was rather difficult to alter the temperature inside, it was a bit too warm in the night. Staff was nice and friendly and the location is perfect - the centre of the village with restaurants and shops is just a minute away.

What a warm, welcoming family runs this beautiful chalet! We loved it! Our room was a corner unit with many windows and a lovely balcony, great mountain views, and a spacious patio out front, large tv gathering room where we watched the Tour de France while sipping wine, and also a large dining area with a big spread for breakfast. The room and bath were spacious and very updated with our own tv and mini-fridge. Located right in the heart of the village, convenient to everything.

This hotel was excellent. From the warm welcome to the "wow" factor of the room, we really cannot fault our stay at all. We stayed on a B&B basis for a weekend of skiing and could not have chosen better. The room in the new annexe was huge, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was exactly what a hungry skier needs and the people were lovely. Highly recommended.
