Long weekend in the Aosta Valley

Great location, beautiful view, dinners were really good and the staff was outstanding. We much preferred the old town area around the hotel to old town Courmayeur...small, and beautiful. Would definitely return and recommend to friends.

Fantastic stay!

A lovely hotel in a quiet part of town though still very central. Francesca was very welcoming to us and the comfortable bed and great dinner (and breakfast!) made a welcome end to a week of hiking! Would definitely stay again 😀

We had a lovely 5 day stay, enjoyed the chalet and the mountains and will definitely return to stay

Loved the Chalet and restaurant. The home cooked meals were perfect with a different choice every evening. Both our bedroom and the restaurant had wonderful views of Courmayeur and the peaks. Francesca and her husband were warm and friendly and the service was perfect.

Beautiful mountain view from the room. The owners were very nice and kind. A friend of us had to cancel the trip all of a sudden due to her health condition, however they cancelled the room for free by talking to booking.com

Amazing lodge, amazing kind owner, beautiful ski area!

Amazing stay here, Francesca is such a kind and caring host! She took note of my husbands birthday and made him a cake, a lovely surprise, we also arrived a day late due to our flight being delayed due to bad weather, she refused to charge us for this night despite it not being her fault at all, it's rare these days to find such a kind owner! The lodge is located in a pretty area, Courmayeur is stunning! Also the food here is incredible, don't book anywhere else!

Loved it.

The staff and owner are friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Add to that the views, the rustic and comfy feel of the place and you have everything you need for an amazing stay. Would not hesitate to recommend, five star service at a 3 star price.

Great place to stay

Thoroughly recommended. A really nice and friendly hotel, very clean with a nice restaurant and great mountain and glacier views. Breakfast was good too and the owners were lovely. Parking was on site and ample.

Perfect location near Mont Blanc — relaxing accommodations and location in the mountains.

Such a sweet alpine-style hotel — very comfortable with a nice location overlooking the town. We purchased the “half-board” which included a delicious dinner! The staff was so friendly and helpful.

My husband thought it a little far to walk to the center of town — but I thought it perfect for a nice stroll.

We liked the location, the friendly welcome, the cosy and rustic rooms, the freshly cooked breakfast, the delicious and reasonably-priced evening meals, the peaceful taverna, the convenient ski storage room.

Hardly anything. The rooms are 'rustic' rather than 'ultra stylish' but that's all part of the charm!

Great room but very poor breakfast. We would stay again though.

Very welcoming people, room was super clean and spacious. Very quiet so we managed to get some well deserved rest. Parking is safe and on site. Very close to lift to main slopes of Courmayour.

Breakfast was really poor, we had coffee, tea...bread, ham and cheese...butter and croissants...and that was it!!! We were expecting more, at least some eggs. Too bad as this was a great stay for us. It would have been a perfect 10 with some eggs at breakfast.

Great rest after exhausting day of hiking on TMB

Conveniently on Tour de Mont Blanc in nice old Dolonne. They gave us upgrade - room with vast Courmayeur view. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful. Staff was very pleasant. Great rest!
