Comfortable but needs improvement

It’s a lovely location and the rooms are large.

A few items were broken - the bathroom door did not close. Would have expected that these things were checked. Also while the breakfast was pretty decent - the quantity was limited - so if you arrived towards the end - you would not get all the items - which is not acceptable. As long as the guest is within the time - the entire breakfast should be available.

Traveling as a couple. Very cold reception on arrival Booked bed and breakfast at this hotel !!! Only to be told they could not supply breakfast as they had a large group arriving !!!! Didn't off a reimbursement for two breakfasts!!!

Exceptional

The breakfast was unlike any other we had on our trip. Coffees were made to order; a large selection of breads, cheese, and meat; yogurt; cake… basically anything you could want for breakfast was available. Very impressed! Facilities were very clean. Bed was comfortable. Exceptional value for the money.

Honest hotel review.

Great location, visited courmeyeur in January and had a trek, this was only a few minutes walk from the ski lift and the reason for booking this hotel.

Hotel was very dated. Needs modernisation. Beds were very uncomfortable. Shower tray was 3ft by 3 ft, shower arm was fixed in position so was very difficult to shower. Shower was so small and I'm only a 5'8 bloke, my lads are 6ft plus and struggled more than I did. There is a kitchen in the room but no utilities at all, so why the kitchen? Hence why I'm saying it needs modernisation and investment!!

Poor value & totally devoid of atmosphere

Room was warm and location was fairly convenient

No wifi - apparently it was 'broken'. No bar - if it did open at all then it was closed before 8pm. No atmosphere and hotel in complete darkness by 8pm. Breakfast uninspiring. Electrical sockets not properly attached to bedroom walls. Door locks sticky & sometimes needed key to open from the inside. Normal access door was the emergency exit, and that sometimes couldn't be opened without a key! Far too expensive for what was on offer - better described as a hostel rather than hotel

One shouldn’t expect shiny palace for such budget, but it really delivers - room was clean and spacious, shower comfortable and breakfast looked like in at least 4 start hotel. Location on the river is very charming, staff - professional and polite

The young male receptionist was friendly.

The hotel was way to expensive and long past it's glory days. Unfriendly breakfast staff and very little to chose from to eat. Not sound insulated room at all. Cloud hear the river roaring and neighbours both to the sides and above.

Good selection at breakfast buffet with plenty to eat. Spacious comfortable apartment. Balcony. 10 min walk from the centre. Friendly staff. Decent WiFi.

Next to the river weir with rushing water that was very loud, so sleeping with the windows open was not an option.

Mixed but good overall

Location is beautiful for hiking. Staff overall pleasant. Room was beautiful. Air conditioning+++. Had all the toiletries you could ever want was well equipped in the room. Thundering river sound was strikingly beautiful and 2 terraced areas open to guests was also a beautiful thing. For couples who just want each others company, this would be an excellent location.

-no access to a kettle for making yourself tea/coffee. No fridge/freezer/ice machine. Owner doesn't allow you to use the kitchen for this. The shared guest area was always empty of people and because staff/owner use it as their area to relax it is fine but not very atmospheric for such a beautiful part of the world. Hot tub is closed off. Gym is closed off. WiFi didnt reach the room. TV got no channels in any language. I would probably go back with my partner but if not I would honestly look for a hostel instead. 3 very easy fixes for most of this is kettle/mini fridge in rooms and WiFi boosters/extenders if you want the feedback :)

Beautiful Authentic Italian Hotel

We booked last minute doing the Tour Du Mont Blanc as wild camping is not permitted in Italy. Great value for a last minute booking and great service from the staff. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is very close to the city centre for some food and drinks too.

Nice stay, absolutely recommended.

Breakfast was good with large varieties. Location of the hotel is really impressive, very close to the central bus stop and just adjacent to the river. Very good location for enjoying the nature quietly. Room was perfect, spacious, can't ask for more !

It seemed the room was meant for cold (which is obvious). But during the hotter time (during our stay, it was very hot), it might be a bit problematic to manage (given that the nice balcony is shared with other people, you can't keep it open for the whole night).

Staff were nice, most of them don't speak English but did their best to help/understand.

Bathroom door in my room got stuck. They have an emergency cord in the bathroom which makes me think this might happen all the time. The double bed consisted of two mattresses with a distinct edge between them.

Short Break to Courmayeur

Great location within easy walking distance to restaurants, sights and short drive to Mt Blanc tunnel and skyway. Friendly staff who speak a little English. Good value for money as breakfast of cereal, toast, yoghurt, coffee/tea, cajes etc included

Being right on the river is amazing but be prepared for the constant noise of it. Even with doors closed.
