Good value

Good value for money. Hot shower with good pressure. Great location

Very difficult to find: zero signs and both Google and Apple Maps direct you to the wrong place. Not ideal in the dark at 2am (although we appreciated check in at this late time) Could’ve been a little cleaner. A little noisy with animals and people walking on the path right outside the door.

Great location, cheap room

The family who own the place are lovely and the view from the room was great. It was nice to have the kitchen to use and we were able to rent a scooter there too. The room was very cheap and the location was close to many shops and restaurants.

The room was in need of a little love. The room, especially the bathroom and some of the pillows had a very strong mouldy/mildew smell. The ceiling leaked dirt into the bathroom and by the door every time it rained. Although the view was lovely, there is a busy path just over the wall so there was very little privacy unless you had the curtains shut as there were no net curtains.

Perfect stay! Everything you need

Clean and comfortable stay! Super comfy bed, clean room and bathroom, strong and quiet AC and fast and reliable wifi. No mold, no humidity! Perfect location - close to center and yet very quiet (difficult to find in Ubud!). Kitchen available for use with kettle and co. It's a small but cozy room with a table and a chair perfe t for work as well as a dresser. Owner are really nice - scooter rental is available at very affordable price! I love the warung next door - was never bothered by noise. Amazing coffee two mins away! Beautiful stay - happy to come back again!!:)

The room is good size and clean. Great value for money. The location is great. Overall, I can't complain for the price.

The room lock didn't feel it was super safe. It was also next to a restaurant which noise can be heard and mosquitoes could come into the room through the holes that were open. The bathroom was also a little dirty and the wifi was not great.

Exceptional

Beautiful clean room in a quiet alley in Ubud but still central. They have a restaurant next to it with delicious local food but just know that you hear the noise till late evening. I didn’t mind. The owner Komang was so lovely and lend me a sarong for Galungan. I loved the location cause it was in 10min walking distance to the northern rice fields for some quiet time, the Ubud Yoga House and Alchemy for great yoga sessions.

The bed and pillow are comfortable. The hot water for showering is good. You can walk to convenience store and many restaurants. There is a small patch of paddy fields nearby. There are some ants, but that's unavoidable when living in a natural environment

lovely Accomodating host, comfy bed and great area!

The property was in a great central location and we liked the traditional style. The host was extremely helpful and did everything to make our stay comfortable, even installing air conditioning as we felt way too hot the first night. The bed was extremely comfortable with two nice big pillows each! Great stay thank you :)

very very cute little place with its own vibe. very beautiful room, big bed, wifi is good, the view is nice and location fantastic. the host very kind, she only has two rooms, you can use the kitchen outside and there is a small patio overlooking rice terrace. you fall asleep to the sound of nature. the room does not have ac, worked well for me - you can open the door to let the fresh air in - there is a mosquito net and the fan in the ceiling. kind lady, you can rent a scooter.

I loved the location between the rice fields and its a very central yet quiet area. It was great value for money and I liked it that there was a good local warung attached to it. I absolutely loved it that there was a shared kitchen with free water an tea to take! This was a great surprise! I also liked the interior of the room, it was cozy

You need to know that you can't get here by car and will need to walk a very short walk with your luggage.

Peaceful stay in a lovely environment in the middle of Ubud

Depong Homestay is very central located but super peaceful nestled in the rice fields. The Warung from the family has some of the best local food I eat so far. The pets are lovely and the room is super clean and nice – especially the bed is really comfy. I come back!

Excellent value for money

Good location, quiet but central. Comfortable bed with 4 pillows, I liked it. Newish bathroom which was very clean. Good shower. Good wifi. Free water and coffee. Own terrace. Very friendly and helpful owner.

The room is small which was ok for me but it's not 35m² like the describtion says. A bit hard to find because there were no signs for this homestay (but for all the other homestays).

Recommend to a solo traveler

初めてのウブド滞在で土地勘があまりないながらも立地はかなり良く感じました。個人的に訪れたい場所が徒歩圏内な事が多かったです。お部屋も一人旅にはちょうど良いサイズで必要最低限のものは揃えてあり、共同キッチンもいつも綺麗に整えられていたのでオーナーさんの配慮を感じました。とても暖かく素敵なオーナーさんです。次回またウブドに滞在するときは宿泊したいです。

特に思いあたりませんが、冷蔵庫が共同になってしまう事かな。でも他の宿泊施設では冷蔵庫の音が睡眠を妨げたので、コンセントを抜いて結局使わなかった事もあるので一概に言えませんね。

Perfecte low budget keuze AANRADER !

Je verblijft bij de gastvrouw “ thuis “ Op haar eigen erf. Dat maakt het tevens veilig. De gastvrouw praat goed Engels. De kamer is netjes. Airco werkt goed. Altijd warm water en een goede waterdruk. Perfecte wifi. Zeer dicht bij het centrum en toch ook lekker rustig.

Tips voor de gastvrouw : Zorg dat er een tandenborstel bakje is. Regel dat er water te tappen is om te drinken / tandenpoetsen. Een zakje in de prullenbak ivm hygiëne wc papier een dichte prullenbak ( zou ik fijner vinden ) handzeep bij de wasbak. Plus handdoekje om je handen af te drogen. Een nachtlampje bij bed zou echt wenselijk zijn. Dus een klein lampje zodat je niet altijd het grote licht hoeft te gebruiken. Dit zijn zeer kleine volgens mij makkelijke verbeterpuntjes. En vooral goed bedoeld.
