Wonderful people, wonderful stay, wonderful breakfast, would stay here again.

Very quiet except for a short period in the late evening when the neighborhood dogs have their barking session, but no noise during the night:-) There are big windows in two directions, but no blinds, so bring your own blindfold if you are sensitive to light in the early mornings.

A nice homestay 😃

The room was very comfortable, with views of both the sunrise and sunset. The balcony was the perfect place to relax and do yoga. It was also a short walk to nearby yoga spots, which was very convenient. Breakfast offered a variety of options, so it never got boring, and it was very good. The owner was very helpful and assisted me in organizing my plans during my stay. Thank you, Agung and Ratna. 😊🙏

Friendly Stay, Affordable Price with breakfast.

First, I like the location, is walking distance to town area and many restaurants near by. Many choices of food, local and western. Second, the Homestay is very clean, the owner clean up the public area and the walk way to the our room. The bed is just nice, not too soft and is good for back bone, comfortable. Last, the owner is very kind, nice and helpful. He provide some information about the places to visit and also he do have transport to drive around the tourist spot and also he will recognise some places. This is with fees, reasonable price.

Only the stairs case to the room is stiff, be careful.

A perfect Balinese experience

A perfect Balinese experience= Jero Ratna Homestay! Walking distance from the market , palace and Saraswati temple. Lovely neighbourhood.. and super super warm welcoming hosts. Mr. Agung and family are the most lovely hosts. I'm booking with them again. I miss that place already.

A place to stay in Ubud!

For the comfort, hospitality, location and yummy breakfast,this place is a steal. Agung & his wife were the sweetest and we were always greeted with smiles from the family everyday we left the apartment. We wanted to stay somewhere central and close to the attractions and this place was perfect. Walking distance to hikes, the palace, food, attractions. When we arrived, Agung was happy to share recommendations and we were lucky to catch the kecak performance in the temple across his place. He was very flexible with the motorbike renting since it was constantly raining. Agung also helped us to book a driver (with a very last min request & reasonably priced) and we were out and about in 20mins! He also helped us bring our clothes for laundry which was very much appreciated. The room was nice and cozy. Bed was firm and we had a good rest over the 3 nights. Shower was strong. There is also water refill provided. There are only 2 rooms available so there’s a lot of privacy and i felt really safe. Breakfast is served outside and you can have a great view while eating. Part of our plans were ruined due to the rain but Agung’s help made the trip better. I would highly recommend this place to stay!

Not what i didn’t like but probably something for others to note: The place is along a gentle slope which is easily doable - we walked up and down many times in the rain. The road is not the brightest but i’ve seen a few solo female travellers walking on the road since there are other home stays around.

Would recommend this homestay to anyone!

Very clean room and bathroom and a quiet property so we had a good nights sleep. Great breakfast was provided (especially the banana pancakes!) and the host is very welcoming and friendly. we really enjoyed our stay here and even extended it. we would definitely stay here again. The host could be charging so much more for this homestay! :)

We struggled to find the property at first so better signage outside may help however the host came and found us straight away when we were lost :) Room is not cleaned everyday but this isn’t a massive issue for us.

Amazing stay in an amazing location with the most amazing host!

All I can say is omg what a pleasant surprise. The host of this homestay made me feel right at home and was so accommodating. The place was way better than I expected and the location couldn’t be better. everything I wanted to do was all within short walking distance. you are in the center of everything yet private enough for it to be peaceful. The breakfast that was included was amazing. Also, my host was so easy to communicate with. In fact, he was a lifesaver cause I had given him laundry to get done for me. I went out for the whole day and when I got back at night I realized I left 1,000,000 Rupiah in the pocket of my jeans. I called him and he went out of his way to stop what he was doing and connect with the person who was doing the laundry which was closed. I sent himself to check for the money and found it and brought to me. That was way beyond the call of duty and such a relief. I can’t say enough good things about the stay and him. And wow! What I paid for the time I was there was less than what I would have paid for the included breakfast. I would recommend this homestay to anyone and everyone.

The family is so kind. Breakfast is cheap and taste good. I am mid budget traveler for 3 months so it is a good place. More clean than other homestays in Ubud. Air con works well. It was quiet and a nice view on the 2nd floor. I wish I started here instead of it being the 3rd place I went to. I kept changing accommodation in Ubud because of the bad quality. I was satisfied here!

I’m in love with that place! The room was unbelievably clean, with two huge windows with pretty view. Room has amazing tarrace where you can sit and hear sounds of Ubud. Breakfast were very delicious and owners of the place are amazingly kind 💛 Thank you, for sure we would come back!

Amazing Hosts

Agung and Ratna were incredible hosts. The room was very clean. The shower and hot water were amazing. The breakfast was delicious and so much love and care was put into it every day. The location was very central but far enough away from the road that there was only minimal traffic noise. The rooms were light and bright with lots of windows and good AC. Great value for money. I highly recommend staying at Jero Ratna Homestay.

Best hotel in Bali!

This has been our favourite place we’ve stayed over the past 4 months travelling Asia. We booked 2 nights initially and ended up doing 8 nights over 2 separate visits. The family who run the home stay made our experience so much better, they are genuinely kind and very attentive. The location is perfect, walking distance from the centre of Ubud. Clean, spacious rooms with plenty of natural lighting. Without fail, breakfast was always great each morning which was one of the highlights of our stay. They helped us rent a scooter and book our onward boat to Lombok for a very good price. Love this place, will definitely be returning if we find ourselves in Ubud again. Thank you for the great stay :)

Very lovely family! They were extremely hospitable. The accommodation was very clean, with a nice hot shower, and had a great view to watch sunsets from. The breakfast provided every morning was delicious. Good location too - close to shops, cafes, and Campuhan Ridge Walk. Give this homestay a shot!

Amazing host couple

So so so nice couple and family (and dog!) who runs this homestay. Breakfast is included and you can choose a variety of things and at what time you want it to be served. At kuningan day we got to borrow traditional clothes which they helped us to dress correctly and then we went to the temple with them. They teached us some phrases in indonesian/balinese and were just so cute and helpful. The room is also great, fresh and clean, and big windows with a nice view over the city. Location was a bit tricky to find at first, but no worries. Walking distance to a lot of good cafés and restaurants. Thank you & we will be visiting again!
