The location is excellent, right in the heart of Ubud’s downtown. It’s very convenient to walk to shops, cafes, and attractions. The staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Overall, a great place to stay if you want both comfort and convenience.
The Wi-Fi connection is unstable. I’m staying on the 3rd floor of this guesthouse, but I’m not sure how it is on other floors.

Good location near some major attractions. Friendly helpful staff. Good clean rooms
Would have liked a safe in the room

The location was ideal. We met Agus as we arrived, who was incredibly helpful.
Look, the fan in the bathroom was very loud, haha, but it was fine. We were more concerned with disturbing the other guests.

Felt safe, great view and location. Staff friendly
Wouldn’t say don’t like but the bathroom was little damp smelling there was only half a roll of toilet paper and I went a day without until I asked, but staff not around to ask only wats app.

Quiet surrounding from Main Street
Great view from balcony (2nd floor)
In the center of Ubud.
Large rooms and good shower
You must be fit to climb stairs.
15 to reach apparent, then 20 again for 2nd floor

I really liked the central location but also the fact that it felt so quiet and removed from all the busyness. My room was big and very clean and the bed was super comfy. I had a great view from my room too! The guest house had such a lovely setting in what felt like temple gardens. Really lovely.
Breakfast was adequate and always on time.
Maybe the only thing I didn’t like was that I couldn’t have my floor to ceiling curtains open without anyone passing my room being able to look straight in.

The location is fantastic, right on one of the busiest streets of the city centre of Ubud. The breakfast was ok, and my room was cute, with free drinkable water and options for coffee or tea. The room was looking clean, except for one thing...
The price is ok for a homestay.
The pillow had mold under the cover, I told the owner and they brought me new pillows. If I hadn't checked, I would have literally been breathing mold. That was the only bad thing, she apologized and fixed it quickly.

It is a quiet little oasis from the busy main road. Good location with local places to eat. Really friendly staff and loved how breakfast was served on your balcony. Room was clean and comfortable
It could be a little noisy in the mornings but would only impact you if you are a late riser. Didn’t bother us
They also have a dog which we loved but just something to note if you don’t like them

I had such a lovely stay at Kampung Sari. Wulan, and her family who run this place together, were exceptionally kind and warm hosts. I even received care when I was sick. I loved getting breakfast to my balcony every morning. I could always reach Wulan via WhatsApp. The rooms are nice. The compound is green and beautiful. It's on the main road but you don't hear any traffic at all, yet it is very well located.

The view is really nice. The same for breakfast. Overall I was satisfied.
It was not possible to have an earlier check-in (even if I asked ahead).

It’s a very typical homestay, you walk past a courtyard with a garden and family temples. It’s managed by young people who are super friendly.
The room is spacious and clean and you have your own table outside to chill and have breakfast.
It’s super quiet even though it’s in the centre and I must say I didn’t realise how busy Ubud is! The traffic and noise is crazy but Kampung Sari is a little oasis.
There is nothing to complain about really because the place is great but the only thing I would have changes is the pillows which are big and hard so not great for a good sleep and the duvet doesn’t have a duvet cover or there is no extra sheet. It wasn’t really a problem because everything was clean and fresh

Best home stay I’ve stay in Ubud so far. The staff, the family are best of the best. The room is clean and the bathroom is designed so well. You can even see the volcano during breakfast.
Rooms are not soundproof and the smell of mold because of humidity. But it’s very common in Ubud area. If these small downsides can be improved the place will be even more precious, because I really like this place and really want to come back.

I liked the location of the hotel. It is located along the main rd and is quite near/walkable to some tourist attractions (Campuhan Ridge Walk, Ubud Palace, Saraswati Temple, and Ubud Market). The staff & host are also very accommodating, they give good recommendations for local restaurants that serve balinese cuisine.
Can't think of anything I didn't like here.

The location is not bad, with many good restaurants within walking distance.
The water pressure in the shower is strong.
The bathroom doesn't have a door, which made us, as a couple, feel quite uncomfortable. It means that when one uses the toilet, their partner can hear and smell everything...
There are numerous stairs to climb. Firstly, there are steep stairs to reach the property from the street, and then more stairs to reach your room located on the 2nd or 3rd floor.
The breakfast was disappointing, with tiny portions consisting of only 1 fried egg per person.
Needless to say, it was not enough for us, so we had to rely on ordering food for a satisfactory breakfast.
The Wi-Fi is unreliable. Sometimes it works, and other times it doesn't. We both work online so we had to depend on our mobile SIM for a more stable connection.
Privacy is non-existent as people passing by can see inside the room. We kept the curtains closed, but this resulted in a dark and gloomy atmosphere, as the lightning in the room is quite weak.
The rock shower may seem cool initially, but it's impractical with hair and dirt trapped under the rocks.
Although the host was kind, he displayed some unprofessional behavior.
During our one-month stay in Bali, we experienced four different guest houses, and unfortunately, Kampung Sari ranked as our least favorite.

Staying here was such a dream! It was comfortable, safe, clean, and such pleasant/attentive help from the family! Right smack in centre of town as well. Plus, breakfast every morning’s so delicious. I 100% recommend this place. It might as well have been a hotel!
Nothing really. Was just abit dark at night/in the early morning as you have to walk further in, so it took getting used to!

Breakfast just nice. Love the environment. Full of historical ambient. Homestay located right beside the main road however you wont feel noisy once you step in to the homestay boundaries. Kinda amazing
Toilet at least install a door...Even we wont feel embarrassed if we see each other shower naked, however it still have have smell if we are doing "big project" haha...

Calm backyard in the very vivacious centre of Ubud. Wulan and Agus are perfect hosts, helpful in every way. The rooms are perfectly equipped and spotless. Great shower. Fantastic breakfast. And I got a private tour of the family temples built by the family grandfather. Great value at a small price. Thank you very much for your hospitality. 🙏

they are very calm and friendly people managing the property. Very flexible. the place is very quiet even if it is in the one of the busiest road in Ubud
they don’t have fridge like the common hotels, but you still can use their common fridge.

This place is a gem. The family who own/run the homestay are lovely people. They could not be more welcoming. The rooms are fully remodeled and everything is clean and new. The property is very traditional and beautiful. And the hot water pressure!!! Probably the best in all of Bali.
absolutely nothing. Everything is perfect. Too much of a value. I would have paid double!!
