It was overall good

The room was good on the second floor you will have to lug up luggage yourself. The person working wasn’t the most personal only saw her when we arrived for a few seconds and when we ordered food and the bell was rung. The room was a little cold didn’t feel like heat was on and it’s a small place but you can hear through the walls. I could hear snoring and a hair dryer. The room was clean there is no fridge but has a kettle. The room was tidied when we came back the next day. The location is good for the bus tour we took only a few feet away but never went to town so don’t know how far it is walking I can’t imagine it’s more than 10-15 minutes. The room was clean and it felt well kept no major issues that I could find.

Room was spacious and clean. Good natural light.

Mattress was a bit uncomfortable. Shower space was tight for my bathroom. Just good enough for me. Would be uncomfortable for an above average sized person.

Clean and comfortable room in good location

Very clean and comfortable room. Very convenient for cathedral from where most tours depart. Landlady kindly let us store our case there as we arrived early.

Inverness accommodation prices. Ridiculously high for what you get . For less than what I paid for this room without breakfast , we had a room in a good hotel in Glasgow with breakfast and a lovely 2 bedroom flat in Stirling . Supply and demand I guess

So convenient, only one block from the river and the central business district of Inverness. Yes, the street was as quite as if it were a county away.

Bed and quiet.

Was comfy and quiet. Location was perfect as it was near St Andrew's Cathedral. Where I found myself sitting outside a lot during lunch.

The room I was in was perfect. Comfy, I believe they serve breakfast too. Although I preferred to be out as soon as I was up. Staff clean room every day.

Quite central to the Town. Was able to park outside the guest house and when a parking space wasn't available the host let us park on the small drive off the road which was really nice of her.

Value for money and good location

Good location for the pick up point for my tour (2-minute walk at most to the Cathedral).

Cobwebs on light fixture and what looked like a burn mark from an iron on the floor. Shower also incredibly loud. I also left two rings in the room which the hotel have been unable to locate despite them definitely being left there that morning.

Wonderful Inverness charm - located right by everything you need.

Charming home. Towels were so soft. I wish we could have seen more of the home - dining room, living room. Lovely neighborhood and prime location.

There is mold on the bathroom ceiling which can easily be treated. It’s time to invest in a new mattress for room 4.

I loved the location and convenience. There had been no picture but the room was small and cute, which is what I paid for.

It was an ok place to just sleep, but I did not feel comfortable in the single room

Good location; walkable to City Centre, restaurants and shops.

No communication received from hotel staff regarding comfort of stay. Host was disheveled when I arrived. No breakfast offering despite reading online that there was. Shared bathroom shower did not work.

2 night stay.

The property was close to the centre, along the river. It was quiet. It was very clean. There was everything I needed. Communication before staying and checking in was great.

As per another guest - the curtains were very thin. Blackout lining would have made a huge difference . I stayed for 2 nights. After I went exploring, I came back to find my belongings in the hall. They had mixed up my booking with another so had packed up my things and brought them downstairs. (Didn’t take them back upstairs so being secure.They had my mobile number but hadn’t let me know so when I arrived back I was quite shocked! The only comment being that they had made my room up again.

Location, friendly host

Smell of smoke, dated, no breakfast available. Not entirely clean. No breakfast on offer. Construction site across the road was noisy. You can hear everything between the rooms.

It might be helpful to inform on the parking solution. You can park on the street but during the day you have to pay and can’t be park more than 2 hours. As I was leaving all day to explore, that was totally ok.

Beautiful building and close to town centre

Stinks of cigarettes smoke. Had to sleep with windows open for fresh air, then had a lot of outside noise coming in. Some of my clothing ended up stinking of smoke. Real shame as the place is beautiful with a lovely bed.

A good room with good shower and comfortable bed was appreciated but lack of contact with host poor.

A clean comfortable room in the location I needed it to be for my activities.

Kept waiting over 2 hours before I could get into my room. I was tired after a long journey on public transport. The irritation was unwelcome. The host seemed unprepared for my arrival and getting her attention for supplies for my room was an impossibility. Rang bell on a number of occasions before giving up and buying milk etc. For the price I paid I feel breakfast should have been included. I was picked up each day at 9.30 a.m., a breakfast would have been great as opposed to Tesco sandwiches.
