Clean and the owner is nice.

The reception was not open for the 3 days of our stay. It felt more like a b&b rather than a hotel. Also, the doors and walls are thin so you can hear the other rooms

A decent small room at the top of a steep staircase

Clean bedroom with toiletries, sink, and comfortable bed, near the train station. Large shared bathroom and good shower.

Loud street sounds. Not really a hotel per se, no staff, reception was closed at 18:30 (I couldn't read my mails on the day so called the landlady, who was friendly), just a key box. The bathroom could use a window curtain. Steep stairs.

The location

Even the “first” floor has a lot of stairs! And the stairs are too narrow, making it almost impossible to go up without causing a mess with your luggage. If you're considering taking a room here, don't bother bringing large luggage! By mistake, I booked a room with a shared bathroom. Despite selecting a room with a private bathroom and single occupancy, it was impossible to change it, even after offering to pay the additional booking fees. Honestly, I don't recommend it, even though the other room was comfortable! Note: the shared bathroom is nasty! Nearby are outstanding hotels for the same price! We changed to another hotel and the price was better!

Hotel is nice, parking problematic

Everything was good.

I had problems with the parking. You’re allowed to park next to the hotel maximum for 1 hour. Then you can either go sightseeing or park in the garage across the street but pay ~15.00 eur there. The lady said parking at the hotel is free from 9 o’clock, but it wasn’t clear it was 9 o’clock in the morning of Sunday. So, I left my car there at 9 o’clock in the evening on Saturday and I might get a fine for that. It may be all my fault, but was somewhat inconvenient.

The location is super convenient, close to hbf and bus stop. The rooms are very confortable and the the shared bathroom was clean and there is also nn additional bathroom in the staircase. Super easy checkin and checkout

1 minute from Achen Cemtral Station, 15 minute walk from Old Town. Shared bathroom had huge bath and also separate shower. Very pleasant and helpful Host Very comfortable

The room was pretty and clean.

This is not a hotel, not by any stretch of any imagination! It is 3 rooms on the top floor of a small building, with 1 shared bathroom and a very steep staircase . There is no staff, no options for tea or coffee, food, no help offered in any way. I cannot imagine why it is called a hotel. It is a lodging. Or Rooms. With no kettle, no nothing.

Andy and Carolin gave me a warm and friendly welcome. They were very helpful and genuinely interested in me throughout my stay. The flat is very clean, with very nice facilities. The bed was warm and comfortable. I was particularly pleased at how quiet the flat is. It's an easy walk to the central attractions of Aachen, and there are great pubs, restaurants and plenty of very nice, traditional German coffee shop/ bakeries for breakfast and lunch nearby. The price charged for the flat is very reasonable. I will be happy to return.

Welcoming and comfortable quarters at an excellent location.

Very warm welcome and friendly staff. The room was bright and cheerful and well equipped, the spacious bathroom just across the floor. The hotel has a very convenient location, 2 minutes from the railway station and close to the city center.

The stair up to the top floor is quite steep. We are (still) fit enough but not everyone might be. The room was comfortable on a 25 C summer day but might get hot when it's hotter outside (no AC).

Super clean cozy hotel

I liked everything about this hotel. It is super well maintained and taken care of. Although it doesn’t have the newest renovation, the place is spotless clean. I had a single room with shared bathroom, and to my surprise the bathroom was super clean.

There is nothing really that I didn’t like about this place. If I have to be very picky, would be nice to have a showergel dispenser in the bathroom. But that’s about it. I had minor confusion when returning the key, but immediately contacted the property owner, they handled from there.

Pleasant stay

Very comfortable room with a sink inside, and a shared bathroom with both shower and a bathtub, as I understood it's shared among 3 rooms, though I didn't encounter any other people there during my stay. Convenient location close to the train station, friendly staff.

Check-in was not possible for about an hour during the day, though the hostess called me to make sure I don't come during that time, so in the end, wasn't a problem for me.

Superb

We were very pleased with the apartment which is spacious and light. As breakfast wasn't being served while we were there, it was a bonus to have the kitchen to prepare our own. Contact with the the staff was friendly and informative.
