Good value for the spent money.

As a hotel chain Mercure offers a standard of service. Facilities were, clean, bed comfortable, the room was in a good condition, breakfast was quite tasty and had enough varieties. Reception staff was very polite and helpful. They quickly resolved my issue when I had to leave my baggage after the check-out. Hotel is located in the old city, so you will have a great access to all sightseeings, public transport. You can reach the main train station in a 13-15 minutes walk.

As located in the city center, hotel is facing quite busy street, so it could be a bit nosy if to open the window. But of course it can be clearly seen on the google maps etc. Of course not a property’s fault. Just a fact to consider if it really matters.

Room was clean and organised. Walking distance from all the attractions in the city

Super noisy location. Air-conditioning wasn't working and staff wasn't able to help with it. Due to the noise and high temperature in the room we couldn't sleep. We left 1 night earlier. Also, TV is old and you can't use it for streaming purposes.

Nice location but needs refurbishing

The property is centrally located. Breakfast is very nice. Very polite and attentive staff. Big rooms with plenty of space. Pretty clean.

The hotel needs to be refurbished. Old carpets, curtains and furniture. The curtains were not blackouts and there was a lot of light in the room from early in the morning. Also, the room was very warm, airco super noisy and super warm duvets…all this made for an uncomfortable sleep.

Good location, close to the major sights of Aachen. Clean bathroom. Staff mostly helpful and friendly.

Very noisy during the night, mainly because taxi drivers were in loud conversation until 3 am, but also because of noisy traffic from five am and until midnight. WLAN was extremely slow. No fridge.
