Centrally located budget hotel with own garage

The staff were extremely friendly and the hotel garage is spacious.

There was an oder in the bathroom from the drains not being used I'm a while.

Provides what you expect. Not the warmest atmosphere, but clean and functional, and good lighting in the bathroom (which is not always the case in hotels). Great location. Has some private parking, but if that's full it's within short walking distance to a parking garage, where there's quite a lot of chargers for electric cars.

There was an issue around breakfast. Some guests piled their plates full of food, which I understand is annoying and hard to keep up with for the hotel, but that shouldn't really be the problem of the other guests. It took at least 15 minutes to refill the eggs, cucumber and tomato were never refilled while we were having breakfast, etc. Secondly, they advertise as having a 'green' breakfast. Offering 5 different types of cheap meats (cold cuts) is not sustainable or green. I can maybe understand choosing to do that - although if you really want to do something positive for the planet offer less meat - but don't describe it as green then.

Short vacation in Aachen and Köln

Great location in centrum of Aachen. In has parking on reasonable price 18 euro a day. Only problem is that the address of parkhaus is different from hotel ones. And for entering the parking you need to be checked in

Perfect location on center walking zone . Possibility to have parking. Please note the parking entrance is not from hotel address. Parking entrance is with elevator and a bit slow.

The location is great, a five minute walk from the main sights on a quiet street

It was a little more complicated to find the hotel, but that's not the hotel's fault, it's just that the street position is such that it's easy to miss.

Nice hotel in Aachen old town.

Love its central location. You can easily access old town by feet. If you bring a car, they also provide basement garage and it costs 18€.

I booked room for 3 persons. The room wasn’t too spacious though. There was no water cooker.

This is a good hotel to spend the entire vacation. The hotel is very beautiful, and the staff are very kind. The hotel is also very clean, and the rooms are clean as well. I will definitely choose this hotel again the next time I visit Aachen.

I have a feeling that they are not replacing the bed sheets, but I'm not sure about it.

Very unpleasant experience with room with full of flies which they explained it’s normal wildlife (?)

weird smell of the room and a lot of flies (insects) in the room - after 3 complaints I could finally move the room but I needed to stay with these flies all over the night ! The room facing back yard was very not pleasant with some trash tanks with pigeons living there. Definitely need to consider.

I would absolutely stay here again due to the cleanliness and fantastic location.

It was very clean, and the location was spectacular! We didn’t eat the breakfast but it looked really yummy!

We had a 3 person twin bed room and there was no outlet to charge a phone next to one of the beds.

My experience

The staff were super friendly and very helpful! The room was cozy and you had everything you needed. I had a change of plans and needed to check out earlier and they were able to accomodate my needs. The location was nice as well... Very close to the town hall and a nice gelato shop and bubble tea place.

Very good price/performance on this hotel

Good location. Clean and well kept. Breakfast was nice. Recommended! No luxury but just what is needed. Seems good for families as well, didn't meet any party-people, more of a grown-up place.

The bathroom was mighty cold! It had no separate heating and with 0 C outside it was around 15-16 C in the bathroom. Solved by keeping the door open (heating in the room was OK).
