Beautiful hotel. Delicious breakfast buffet and dinner. Paper thin pillows.

Beautiful hotel. Great service. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of options. The restaurant at hotel for dinner was phenomenal. Parking at hotel was easy and convenient. Plenty of grass area for our pets to do their business. I would give this hotel 5 stars if it wasn't for their paper thin pillows (bring your own) or for the mold in the crevices inside the shower door hinges (cleaning service needs to use a scrub brush). With those two complaints we would still stay there again.

The pillows are paper thin. One needs to fold the two paper thin pillows in half to get even an ounce of minimal neck support. Pack your own pillows. The shower needed a good scrubbing with a scrub brush especially in the crives.

A welcome break in a classy and welcoming environment

A real feeling of wellbeing! The staff was welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere was pleasant and classy but not uptight. Really nice breakfast buffet and we enjoyed the sauna a lot!

The only point I could raise is that the mattress and pillow were a bit too soft to my taste - but this is quite subjective of course.

Lovely stay as usual

Staff, esp Peter and his team in the Elephant bat. Breakfast was good and staff helpful. Pool area was lovely and water was warm.

Parking was difficult on arrival due to cars left after check out whilst attending a conference next door. Followed by a large wedding at the weekend!

Fairly elegant hotel with unusually friendly and very helpful staff.

Staff was very warm and helpful in advising on where to eat and things to do. For a higher end hotel that is not in the very top tier, it was excellent value for money. I felt very well treated there.

Really enjoyed my stay at Quellenhof Hotel. The spa was excellent, the hotel was quiet and relaxing, and the breakfast had a great variety. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent facilities and service from the moment you walk through the door to the minute you leave! Staff are so helpful and friendly! Restaurant and Bar staff are very efficient and friendly. Great breakfast buffet! Peter and his team in the Elephant Bar are exceptional in running a great bar with good atmosphere and service. Love the renovations and decor! We will return!

Overall OK stay, but we expected a bit more.

The hotel was built with a style. Spacious rooms, high ceilings, common areas are very nice too. But apart from the nice building, which starts to be worn out, other services are limited. On positive side rooms were quiet, pillows were comfortably soft. Breakfast was very good.

We had two rooms, both on the first floor and were bit worn out /e.g. the carpet, worn out bed on one side, broken hose in the shower etc./ The spa is sauna and cold swimming pool only. There are no additional services - there is no minibar and there is no room service which I did expect in this type of a hotel.

Decent but not 5 star.

We booked this hotel because of the spa. The spa however is an afterthought. The swimming pool is nicely designed but it is cold. There are two sauna's, one of which barely warm. To use the steam bath you need to switch it on first and then wait for 15 minutes to warm up. The lady servicing the spa was nowhere to be found. We had to wait for everything.

Really relaxing, and enjoyable.

The room was very spacious, the decor wasn't the upgraded room, but still pleasant and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was splendid, a wonderful range to choose from, and a chef on hand to freshly prepare cooked food. The atmosphere was relaxed, with outdoor and indoor seating. We really took our time and did not feel under pressure to finish up and leave.

It was after the spa staff had left when we went for a swim, and there was no explanation on entering the spa area. Maybe a little notice to the guests on the reception area would be useful. We actually did not know our robes and slippers for the spa were in the wardrobe in our room. We found out they are no longer left on your bed, since covid, rather in a draw inside the wardrobe.
