Great Aachen base, particularly for cyclists

Excellent, modern hotel bang in the centre of town, a couple of minutes from all the sights. Very accommodating for cycle tourists with secure bike parking facilities. The staff are very friendly and helpful

Some rooms face onto the street which can result in some late night and early morning noise from party goers and the town's very effective bin men

Aachen great stay

Clean and cozy room. Specious and comfortable. The breakfast was good and affordable. The location was good but just too crowded as it's located in the city center. Parking option was great even though it was paid but convenient.

Too hot because of excessive temperatures and no airconditioning

The minimum distance to center of town. One front desk person was very helpful when we left.

It was very hot and we had a non-airconditioned room. On request we did get an airfan, but temperatures were over 30 degrees C. This is the treason why our stay was less pleasant.

Parking was good but limited, first come first served. There was a municipal car park really close by, it's not a show stopper, it's what to expect from a great city centre location.

A very decent, clean, comfortable business style hotel in the centre of town, not uplifting.

Excellent bed, ample breakfast, friendly staff (especially helpful in the morning), good sized room. Good bathroom. Very close indeed to the main sites of Aachen.

View. Charmless decor. Poor coffee at breakfast, no milk or water in the room. Parking challenging in very small, low spaces. Given the great location, it could just look a lot more attractive.

Great location (only 300 meters from the Aachener Dom), clean and spacious recently renovated rooms, parking € 18/day, fantastic breakfast with an incredible amount of options both hot and cold, great value for your money!

Very good location, decent hotel that could improve with a few minor changes

Really close to the Aachen Church and Charlemagne. Good breakfast choices. Close to good bakeries.

The building isn't very appealing on the outside and also the inside feels very officelike. The rooms are somewhat noisy - you can hear your neighbors using the shower. Some decoration in the reception area and soundproofing the rooms would go a long way.

Aquis Grana is an exceptional hotel, I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

It is as centrally located and provides an in room bar and coffee. The staff was great, even delivering laundry I had done early to my room, and the breakfast is by far the best, most generous I've had just about anywhere.

Excellent overnight stop in a city centre, cannot fault it for this sort of stay.

Location of hotel is fantastic for access to Aachen market squares, bars and restaurants. Room is basic, but large. Classic twin beds that can be split if needed. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant, the hot and cold buffet breakfast is superb, in particular the little sausage-meat balls. We are already looking at returning here in December to visit the Aachen Christmas Markets.

Parking could have been a little easier, but we arrived late so our fault the parking had all been taken. The staff were very helpful in finding alternates.

Nice hotel, great location!

Nice hotel in a great location. Everything is within walking distance. We stayed in the hotel with seniors for whom long distances are no longer suitable and thanks to the location they were able to explore the whole centre in comfort. They offered gluten free options for breakfast which we also appreciated. We would be happy to use this hotel again on our next visit. In addition, just a few meters from the hotel there is a great confectionery and this came in handy for all of us!

Great hotel near Charlemagne's "Dom"

This is the place to stay if you want to visit historical Aachen. The room had all the necessities for a comfortable 2-night visit, with wonderful shopping and restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again!
