Unbelievably charming, quiet, cosy, friendly - and yet central

Providing all the comfort of a four-star hotel, this spacious room was very tastefully furnished, and was impeccably clean - not the tiniest speck of dust anywhere. The hosts were so charming our interactions felt like visiting family... like your favourite aunt and uncle. They even offered to iron my dress shirt right upon arrival (while offering cake and tea). Breakfast is served in your room at a time of your choosing. And as friendly as the hosts are, they will respect your privacy throughout your stay. With a large table, wardrobe and comfy chairs, the room was perfect for my business trip involving extensive laptop work. I almost felt it was a pity I was travelling alone, as - with its many lighting options, cosy bed, in-room shower and electric "fireplace" - it was certainly one of the more romantic accomodations I've stayed at. (As opposed to the shower, the toilet is in a separate room.) The room offers no view, as it is located directly at the end of a driveway, where a garage would be. But the blinds and curtain offer perfect privacy and, if you want, total darkness. And what's best: it's in an utterly quiet part of town, a small residential street only a 5 minute walk from "Vaals Busstation", where all the busses to Aachen and other places stop. Near this bus station, you will also find plenty of restaurants and grocery stores.

Only minor things that may affect a few travellers: When the main radiator switched off at night, I felt a rather cold draft of air around the bed. While the electric "fireplace" provided excellent heat (and light), I preferred switching it off at night to avoid unwittingly burning something. If you're not comfortable seeing each other naked, the in-room shower may not be ideal for you.

The hosts went out of their way to provide everything their guests could want. Breakfast was fit for a king, or queen! The B and B was very attractive and spotlessly clean in a quiet neighbourhood.

The accommodation was just right in every way.

The individual attention was really good and the wonderful breakfast was much appreciated. Being a separate annex means you can come and go whenever you please. It is only a few minutes walk to the centre of Vaals and close to the bus stops, for both Aachen and Maastricht, with buses every 15 minutes. John and Ivonne are the perfect hosts, with perfect English spoken.

There is nothing to dislike!

Fantastisch

Deze B&B is echt een parel. Bij aankomst stond de vlaai al klaar. De gastheer is ontzettend vriendelijk. De kamer is heel goed verzorgd. Alles is aanwezig. Goede douche en een heerlijk bed. De temperatuur is zelf te regelen (vonden wij erg fijn!) Het ontbijt is fenomenaal. Heel erg uitgebreid en vers. Wij komen terug!

Prima locatie, tegen het centrum van Vaals. Het is klein, maar fijn. Alles was aanwezig. Ontbijt was uitstekend. Prijs-kwaliteit-verhouding is prima. Vriendelijke eigenaren.

Beetje apart dat de douche in 'de kamer' is. Voor een groot en wat zwaarder persoon zijn de bedden wat te zacht.

Heerlijk!

vlaai bij aankomst, uitgebreid ontbijt, heerlijke douche, we mochten onze spullen nog even laten staan, terwijl we naar het drielandenpunt fietsten. Onze fietsen werden netjes achter weg gezet, onze band werd nog opgepompt, kortom: geweldige service!

eigenlijk niks (kijk, om het helemaaaal perfect te maken zou een keukentje fijn zijn, maar ik snap ook dat dat geen vereiste is in een B&B en dat het waarschijnlijk ook niet in de ruimte past, maar als ik dan toch iets moet zeggen wat het nog beter zou maken, zou dat het zijn)

Rustige mooie kamer met een heerlijk ontbijt.

Met liefde ingerichte complete kamer. Vriendelijke gastheer en -vrouw. Heerlijk ontbijt met lekker vers fruit. Super ook dat er zakjes bijlagen om nog iets mee te kunnen nemen. En zo lief dat er vlaai was bij aankomst. Erg fijn na 27 km hiken.

Het was erg warm toen wij er waren (ca 35 graden die dag) en het was een 10 met de griffel geweest als er of koeling of een ventilator was geweest.

Voortreffelijke B&B met aandacht voor de gasten

Het ontbijt was meer dan voortreffelijk en ruim voldoende. De eigenaars maken er veel werk van. Ze zijn zeer vriendelijk en hebben alles over voor hun gasten. Deze B&B is een echte aanrader!! Daarnaast ligt het op loopafstand van het centrum in een rustige wijk.

Wij kunnen niets vinden als tegenvaller.

Perfect.

De gastheer en vrouw zijn enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We kregen na afloop zelfs nog een parkeerkaart om daar te blijven staan voor die dag. Het ontbijt is boven verwachting, HEERLIJK! Je kunt bij de B&B parkeren (wij hadden de fietsen mee) maar het ligt tevens vlakbij de DMT wandeling. De kamer is van alle gemakken voorzien en we werden bij aankomst verwelkomt met een stukje vlaai. Wat een genot om hier te verblijven!

Perfecte B&B op een fijne locatie dicht nabij de Dutch mountain trail.

Comfort, voorzieningen (minibar, koffiezetapparaat, waterkoker), zeer uitgebreide ontbijt (teveel voor deze wandelaar die in de ochtend niet zo veel trek heeft), ontzettend lieve en vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw.

Als ik dan toch een minpuntje moet noemen: aandacht voor het toilet, die loopt soms door.

Zeer comfortabele B&B met zeer warm welkom

Zeer warm onthaal door John en Ivonne. We kwamen aan in de stromende regen, koud en nat. Er werd direct een pot thee geserveerd met heerlijke vlaai, de kachel werd opgestookt. We voelden ons ontzettend welkom en thuis. Comfortabele bedden, schoon, tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Voortreffelijk ontbijt. Mochten zelfs een lunchpakket samenstellen.

Heerlijk rustig, in de buurt prima restaurantjes en je zit zo in Aken vanuit Vaals.

Een fijne B&B , lieve mensen met een hartelijk welkom en stukje vlaai! Kopje koffie/thee. Even een korte uitleg over van alles. En het ontbijt was top!

Ik zou het werkelijk niet weten. Ik kan niks bedenken.
