Wonderful stay, great location and super helpful staff.

We stayed on a busy day of Carnival. The property was super nice, location was perfect, reception staff super helpful particularly Sami who helped with critical information on parking on Carnival day, when all surrounding roads were blocked. Nice to have people at the front desk who are passionate about their work and go the extra mile to help their costumers. Maria was super nice at the check out.

Nothing all good. Did not end up using their parking as 4 minutes away the other parking was much cheaper and also safe from the Carneval blockade. 29 euro is pretty pricey anyway.

Great hotel on a great location, just plan the parking spot in advance!

The room was clean and looked great, free mini bar is always good and the staff is friendly.

The parking is available for everyone, not private for the hotel. We had to park quite some way away from the hotel and also still had to pay for parking.

Convenient, clean and quiet. Perfect for a city trip.

Lovely comfortable room, not the usual luxury of Melia but a great and convenient hotel nonetheless. Nice spread at breakfast and the gym facilities are simple but good - as soon as we went into the gym, a staff member came in with a bowl of fresh fruit for us which was a nice touch. The free mini bar is also nice and thoughtful.

I planned to go into the sauna after using the gym but the sauna needed 30 mins to turn on and heat up - not the hotels fault, just something to be aware of to avoid disappoinment, you should ask the reception to turn it on if you intend to use it. Also beware that the rooftop bar can be hired out for private functions, it was therefore closed the night we stayed which was a shame.

Conveniently located hotel

The hotel is very clean overall, rooms are well equipped, the beds are comfortable and it was quiet. The staff is very friendly, checkin and checkout are made simple. Location is great, walking distance to the center and shopping street.

The breakfast is extremely pricey for what it offers: just regular continental breakfast style. The scrambled eggs were a single block of overcooked egg, coffee comes from a machine but they also have filter coffee in bottles, both are not good. Even though they have a barista machine, it is not used during breakfast.

A perfect stay for our honeymoon and visiting the Carolus Thermen.

The cleanliness, a good city view from the rooftop of the hotel, the bed was comfortable, the shower was good and the eucalyptus and peppermint soaps were perfect.

Terrible experience due to staff providing wrong information that resulted in my car being towed.

Staff at reception provided incorrect parking information, confirming it was safe to park outside the hotel. Despite this explicit confirmation, my car was towed overnight, resulting in severe documented costs (towing fees, city fines, taxi expenses). This poor advice from hotel staff severely impacted my stay and created unnecessary stress and expense. The hotel's response was professionally inadequate. Management refused all accountability while simultaneously admitting they would implement additional staff training - effectively acknowledging their advice was wrong. They offer parking guidance to guests but disclaim responsibility when that guidance proves costly. Professional hospitality standards require either competent advice or honest admission of limitations with alternative solutions. The hotel failed basic service standards: accurate information provision, adequate staff training, and accountability for employee errors. Their reliance on legal disclaimers rather than service recovery shows disregard for guests who suffer financial consequences from staff mistakes.

Check the small print - or their own site - before booking

Wonderfully comfortable bed. Spotless clean.

No clarity around parking, internet results gave us 'free parking', my query sent at the time of booking was answered too late (next morning), at check-in no one informed us about the parking fees. At checkout we were faced with a fee of 26 euros - and a bored and fairly unfriendly employee sharing this info with us. We booked through booking, so the reasoning that they have the information on their own website does not do it for me.

Perfect location for ending our Vennbahn trip.

Secure bike storage. Great shower. Free soft mini bar. Good location. Very clean. Majority of staff were friendly and helpful. Nice roof bar with great views.

1 member of staff in the roof bar was quite unhelpful and dismissive which was a shame as the other staff were great.

Simply Amazing

The hotel is about the best I have stayed in in the last few years, it ticks all the right boxes and I therefore highly recommend. * Very friendly staff * free minibar * You can open window * The elevator is modern as the whole of the hotel, You can also use the stairs if you don’t want to use the lifts * Clean and modern, nothing spooky or creepy * You get points if you say you don’t want your room cleaned * Very good pillows I like the restaurant, it’s quite lovely it’s on the top floor. It has a cozy, comfy feel. Combined with the lovely music, you might not want to leave in a hurry.

You will not think of the breakfast as great especially if you like your food hot. The beans was just a little warm which made it a little less enjoyable but this is me just really looking for something to complain about.

Breakfast room is on the fifth floor and has panoramic views over the city skyline. Wonderful experience.

Nothing really. The hotel happens to be on the opposite side of the city centre from the train station, so it happens to be a bit of a hike. However, it is right beside the bus station!!!

Aachen has all the Right Stuff

The excellent location was a short walk to the Aachener Dome and Rathaus. Our room was attractive and super clean. The free minibar was a plus. We enjoyed the Uptown restaurant for dinner. It has a lovely terrace, but it rained the night we stayed.

Parking garage was crowded and expensive. Our parking voucher provided by hotel needed constant updating.

A great hotel for a visit to Aachen . We thoroughly enjoyed and would return again.

It was modern and airy. The room was original, with an open-plan design between the sleeping and bathing areas with a separate WC. Everything worked. The restaurant on the top floor with a roof terrace was exceptional due to the wonderful view of the old town. The location was ideal for a city trip- a short walk to the city centre. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Parking facilities under the hotel.
