Ideal for short stays

If you're coming to Aachen by train and only need a place to rest, this is an ideal little hotel. Rooms are large and comfortable, you feel safe in it and location is literally across the street from the station.

There's no breakfast, but that is not a problem, since there are many bakeries around.

The location is perfect especially when coming by train. Its litterally the first building you see when exiting the trainstation. I am a tall man, the bed we had is the best I ever had in a hotel.

Good value hotel convenient for train travellers

Very close to the station, clean and comfortable, if basic and a little worn. Despite being on the square opposite the station it was quiet and we slept well. There is a nice bakery 50m away where I got breakfast.

Great location near the station. Short walk to main centre. Rooms clean. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nothing much, really. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Reception closed after 6pm was u usual. One pillow given which was very soft, as was the mattress.

Stained bed frame, stained sheets, ripped sheets/bedding, deflated pillows (I wouldn’t call them pillows), unable to contact or get ahold of any staff after hours, door was not the easiest to open, very thin walls and can heat everything from other guests.

Do not go to this hotel ( horrible customer service )

Horrible customer service. The sheets had hair so I called to ask for them to be changed. Got no answer . Had to book another hotel for the night. Called them again in the morning , a very unpleasant lady answered and hung up on me while I was speaking politely and calmly. Unacceptable behaviour. Mistakes can happen , which is of course human , but the hotel should recognise the mistake and answer the phone politely ready to cooperate and provide a refund. Do not go to this hotel ,if anything happens you will be treated unfairly. There is only one phone that you can call and the lady is extremely rude !

Great location. Steep stair access, no airconditioning

The location of the Hotel across from the Railway station was great. The beds were comfortable and the shower good.

However being a hotel I expected a lift when I booked only to find out we were up 4 flights of steep stairs. The rooms were non smoking but the stairwell reeked of cigarette smoke. The room was also hot with no fans or air conditioning.

I was on a higher level and had to climb stairs - but well lit and wide stairway. There was never anyone there to see to ask for a lower level

Central location, good value for money

Great central location right by the train station, however this does also mean it gets quite noisy at night.

It smelled a bit like smoke, so I’m not sure if someone was smoking inside or it was just wafting in, but that was quite unpleasant.

Overall positive. Very reasonable for the price point. If you’re catching a train this is the place to stay.

Location was perfect. Getting off the train and being able to check in straight away is priceless. The amenities were everything you would expect. The room was a reasonable size and everything was as clean as you would want it to be. Good TV, good bathroom. Decor was simple but functional

The pillows didn’t have much substance (I know people have mentioned this before). But if you need head/neck support you will need to bring your own pillow because there is not much stuffing inside them. The bed was OK. Again, if you are an elderly person you may have trouble as the mattress is quite thin (more like a futon on a bed base). One thing to mention that is completely out of the hotel’s control, but the street is quite nosy throughout the night. Obviously the location it is in attracts a lot of noise and the rooms don’t seem to be soundproofed (enough or at all) to block it out. I personally woke up once or twice in the night in a jump scare. If you are a heavy sleeper this may not be an issue.

It was a very pleasant stay that suited our needs perfectly.

The hotel was perfectly located, close to the train station and on walking distance from the city center. The rooms were clean and all the facilities (towels, toileteries...) were provided for. The check-in and check-out also went very smooth. Even though we arrived earlier than the usual check-in, that was no problem.

As a couple, we'd have preferred one double bed with one big blanket instead of two separate individual beds with individual blankets.

Prima voor 1 nacht ten aanzien van wat je betaalt maar verwacht geen luxe.

Centraal gelegen. Handige in en uitcheck met sleutel kastje. Het doet niet echt luxe aan maar voor 1 nachtje met bezoek aan kerstmarkt is het helemaal prima.

Het is ouderwets en het was heel heet op de kamer. Ook douche is verouderd en minimaal straaltje. Te weinig shampoo (1 klein zakje, geen dispenser of iets dergelijks)

Un hôtel authentique comme on en fait plus hélas, l'accueil chaleureux l 'emplacement en centre ville , la propreté et la décoration de la chambre tout était très bien ce qui fait que nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

De locatie

Bij aankomst merken we dat de kamer niet gepoetst is: bed niet ververst (lakens lagen nog hoe de vorigen het hadden achtergelaten), gebruikte handdoeken op de grond in badkamer, vuilbak niet geledigd, nog gebruikte bekers op nachtkastjes… Wij hebben direct het hotel willen bereiken via telefoonnummer maar werd niet beantwoord. Meerdere malen geprobeerd, bericht via booking gestuurd, mail gestuurd maar geen enkele reactie meer die avond…

Centraal gelegen, voordelige prijs. Er was geluid van het verkeer, maar niet hinderlijk. Eenvoudige toegang tot kamer door middel van sleutel kluisje. Ontbijt mogelijkheden genoeg in de buurt.

Klasse Hotel!

Bereits im Vorfeld haben wir eine freundliche Mail mit Infos zum Check-in bekommen. Check-in und Checkout waren unkompliziert. Das Zimmer hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es war geräumig, hübsch und absolut sauber. Auch das Bad war toll - blitzsauber mit Ablageflächen und guten Handtüchern. Die Lage ist super, wir waren froh nach der Zugfahrt so schnell im Hotel zu sein. Trotz der zentralen Lage war es im Zimmer sehr ruhig und wir haben in den bequemen Betten richtig gut geschlafen. Wir würden immer wieder buchen.

Schönes, günstiges Hotel in zentraler Lage

Super Lage, ruhiges und sauberes Zimmer zum Hof raus. Freundliches Personal. Mir gefällt die Mischung aus modernem Zimmer und traditionellem Hotel. Es ist keine Hotelkette, man spürt noch ein bisschen die "gute alte Zeit".

Alles bestens! Nur gehbehinderte oder ältere Menschen sollten wissen, dass es keinen Aufzug gibt und die Treppenstufen relativ "kurz" sind und die Treppen somit steil wirken. Wir wussten das vor der Buchung, daher kein Punktabzug und für uns völlig okay.
