A good hotel in a great location

A good clean hotel on a great location. Although breakfast was not offered hot drinks were always available from a machine in reception together with biscuits. A bakery was next door where food could be purchased and eaten in the hotel on tables in reception. Staff were always available.

Whilst my wife found the bed comfortable at 196cm I found the quilt on the bed too small causing me to wake in the night often The hotel us on a main road so the traffic could be noisy at night.

Not worth the price

Separate rooms from the hotel make it super noisy and cold, heating was possible but noisy. The bedroom is next to the corridor where people pass all night. No heating in bathroom expert from floor. No shower door, so you end up in a hot shower with cold wind. During the day, impossible to rest because of hose keepers shooting to each other. No parking at property, as announced. Staff unable to give you directions for parking No possibility to have breakfast at hotel. You are directed to the bakery next door. Booked another comfortable hotel for our last night.

Our stay was comfortable, convenient, and overall very pleasant.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with modern amenities such as air-conditioning, strong Wi-Fi, and sound-proof windows that made the stay pleasant and relaxing. The hotel’s location is excellent—situated close to the city center, within easy walking distance of key attractions like the old town and Carolus Thermen, as well as convenient access to public transport and nearby parking. Overall, both the room quality and central location made the stay very convenient and enjoyable.

There wasn’t anything in particular that I didn’t like — everything worked well and we had a comfortable stay.

Room was good clean and comfortable

Impossible to park anywhere near hotel. In fact a nightmare. No Breakfast.No dining facilities. All the restaurants around this hotel was only kebaps and Turkish restaurants. I have travelled to many and I mean many German hotels .This was by the worst for facilities. Just a coffee machine. Would never stay there again.

The location is excellent, the thermal bath is only 10 minutes away and the centre is also only 20 minutes walk. There is free coffee at the reception which is very good quality.

Everything about this hotel just works. The rooms are super clean, have everything you need and the location is central to the Carolus Therme as well as to the old city centre. As a solo female traveller I found the location felt safe. The reception was staffed until 6pm and after hours it was easy to come and go with a key card system. My room was to the back and very quiet. Lovely area to sit downstairs with quality self serve coffee/cappuccino machines and dishes and cutlery for any breakfast you might want to get from the bakery next door. Easy bus connection to the main station..

Very spacious and comfortable room.

No parking on-site (put a public parking garage at 300 m distance), no dining options, no breakfast (but a bakery next door), no set opening times for reception (but you can retreive your key from a box next to the entrance).

The hotel was so comfortable we could have stayed longer than the one night.

Sabira at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. She had upgraded our room to a junior suite which was a very pleasant surprise. In spite of its location on a busy crossroads, our room was very quiet and peaceful. Although the hotel did not provide breakfast we could buy pastries and croissants at the bakery next door and bring them back into the hotel where there were tables, chairs, plates and cutlery and also complimentary coffee and fresh apples.

Excellent hotel, but Aachen is a big NO

Very friendly lady at the reception (dark brown hair)! Nice, spacious and clean room, on the ground floor, kind of annex building at the back of the hotel. We had the rear junior suite (608) which also had a terrace with chairs. Even a small kitchen (microwave, sink, hob, kettle, fridge, number of pans, cutlery and plates) and a spacious bathroom with bubble bath. There are a number of drinks in the fridge, free of charge. Big telly you can move to either watch from the lounge area or from the comfort of the double bed. There are outdoor shutters on all windows accessible by switches inside. There were also two single beds hidden away in the wardrobes. Complementary tea, coffee (nice!) and water behind the reception, 24/7. There's also a vending machine with candy bars and soda drinks. Dogs are welcome (10 euros per night).

Hotel wise there were NO disappointments at all!! We did leave a day sooner, purely cos the city of Aachen was too much of a culture shock and not the city trip we had hoped for as the last part of our holiday. There are SO many ppl living on the streets! Addicts with very visible mental and physical decline. They are everywhere. Men and women. Lots are begging. I'm used to Rotterdam and lived in Amsterdam. Aachen is on a completely different level. We weren't bothered by anyone directly , but I didn't feel safe.

Pleasent times in a peaceful hotel.

It was unexpected roomy, very detail oriented and felt proper. We enjoyed a great night's rest and even had the help of the staff for finding good parking nearby. The free water and coffee were a great touch.

We were a little confused by our fridge in the room, as it contained drinks, but no label if they were going to be charged or not. We ended up just sticking to drinking in town, so we did not need them anyway.
