Not much “style”. Art Hotel Superior has far better comfort for comparable price. Just isn’t as central. Reminded me of student accommodation.

This was clean and would have been comfortable BUT we arrived in a heatwave and this was the only place we stayed in Germany that had no air conditioning. The apartment was baking hot.

The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The check in process is very smooth despite the fact that it is all 'automated' .

Our 2nd stay at Loft, always a nice change from a typical hotel stay. Easy and secure access with entry codes. Clean Ikea modern accomodations. Approx. 10-15 min. walking distance to the Aachener Dom. Parking garage very close.

The daily cleaning for this apartment is only including tower change and trash clean. As we stay for 7 nights, will expect at least 1-2 times full clearing service as other same level hotel.

The location was ideal for our visit to CHIO Aachen, it was located 20 minutes from the station and then a further 40 mins to the stadium (on foot). The apartment was adjacent the historic buildings and shopping area within Aachen. The apartment was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable with ample toilet and shower facilities. A small kitchen provided sufficient to allow the preparing of a small meal or drinks. A small lift serviced the fourth floor, which otherwise could be accessed via a star well. Good for you step count!

The room was very hot even with a window open. Temperature outside 21 DC. This made sleeping uncomfortable. Air conditioning was not provided. A simple fan would have helped but was not available. The apartments are on the edge of Aachen. The area was very noisy early morning and late at night during the duration of our stay. The linked Cafe is closed and hence we were unable to get breakfast (our plan). We were though able to get a breakfast from the centre of Aachen, which is a few minutes away.

Room and location was fine.

The problems were that the code we received via Booking.com did not work. We also had reserved parking, but no information was supplied prior to arrival about the location of the parking or how to access it. We literally had to call five times to get the info we needed, which included a new working code and how to use it to gain access to the parking. Last but not least, the way down to the parking has a very steep gradient and our car grounded nastily entering and leaving. Anything sporty is going to end in expensive tears ...

If this had been sold and priced as a nice student room, we would been happy. As it was sold a very nice with very high reviews, and priced to suggest something more than ordinary, we ended up being very disappointed. We wonder if the review system is partly to blame. On the plus sides - Very clean. The small kitchenette is perfectly functional with 2 of everything. The small bathroom is perfectly functional - but don't open the shower doors too quickly as they bang into the toilet and sink. There was enough hot water. The bed is okay. It's only a 15 minute walk from the old centre. The receptionist at check-out was very helpful.

Poor communication in advance of our arrival. We like to plan the details up front. We had asked in advance about the location of paid parking, and access to the building, and didn't get these addresses until we we'd arrived. The codes worked for all doors - one feels more secure with more security, so this is a plus. It does feel odd having absolutely no staff around though. There is an office, but the sign on the door said that it was unstaffed. The Das Loft cafe was also very closed. In the room, a note inside the door provides the WIFI code, emergency numbers, and a mobile phone number to call for questions. We missed practical instructions about how to use the TV, the coffee machine, the air-conditioning etc. The assumption was that everyone knows how these things work. The décor felt unwelcoming. The walls are white, without any pictures or features. There is 1 easy chair, 2 dining chairs, plus a rather small circular table . The floor is functional. So great as a student room, but rather cold, atmospherically for a nice weekend away. The lobby area and hall ways are similarly functional, rather than welcoming. It was a hot day. We tried to set the air conditioning to 20 degrees, and then tried to pull the curtains closed. Unfortunately, 4 of the curtain rings broke, meaning we couldn't close them fully. It wasn't possible for us to repair the rings. We decided not to try to phone the number on the door - sounds odd maybe, but from the messages we had received so far, it seemed that responses were often very slow, and in German (our fault for not speaking the local language well). We weren't in the mood for any more hassle. The room was still very warm in the evening, especially the kitchen floor so we slept with the windows open, and woke when there was noise from the street.

The apartment was spacious and had air-conditioning. It had good views and facilities to make drinks and small meals. It was spotlessly clean and very close to shops and the historic centre.

It was advertised as having a manned reception. It didn't. We had trouble getting in because we didn't have internet access and had to phone for a code to get in. The air-con was noisy. Heating was not very controllable and was largely set to 'furnace'.

Right in the City Center..easy to go anywhere else. Great !

The room was enormous and very comfortable.

The apartment was very clean and tidy. The heat was fabulous, important point in winter time. Very close to the center area.
