Very central - modern space but still felt warm and inviting. The price for the night was incredible!

Comfy room in great location for Xmas Market but needs to sort out some basic stuff.

Great location, very comfortable beds and good shower. Nice selection at breakfast but very busy unless you went really early.

Coffee machines kept breaking causing even bigger queue at breakfast. A second breakfast station appeared on our third morning. Shame it wasn’t there every day. No tea and coffee facilities in room. Ability to stream from phone to TV not working which was disappointing on a 3 night stay. Only BBC News and Bloomberg news in English. Room only serviced once in 3 days.

Hit and Miss

Very close to the center of town, with restaurants and suites. Nice lobby.

Thin Walls / floors seem to let through a lot of sound. I could hear things falling, suitcases, etc. No coffee or even a kettle in the room. Room did not really have any place to unpack and store my suitcase items. This would be fine for 2 nights. But for 4 nights I should have a found a different hotel. Some staff were friendlier than others. Staff upon arrival ( Friday afternoon) were not very welcoming.

Its quiet inside the room and a cat jump to the city centre. Excellent overall.

Love the breakfast;) Housekeepers greet us warmly and made us feel welcome. We thanks the front desk clerks for providing us the barrier-free shower.

Cool

The breakfirst was excellent. A lot of choice and bio products. Cosy dining room. Excellent service we had at the reception desk. A very nice guy gave us address of asia restaurant. And the most important gave us the information to take the bus to Monschau to avoid climbing up by bicycle for 30 km. (Vennbahn) Thanks a lot. Very helpfull for ladies over 60 and something.

Very convenient location. It is a walk distance from old center with many restaurants and bars. Surroundings is very beautiful. Quite room and very comfort beds. Available underground parking.

Great value hotel in a great central location.

Lovely modern hotel - our room was spacious and very comfortable. We were also able to control the heating/cooling which was great -sometimes you cant do this in hotel rooms.

Being British we would have like tea/coffee making facilities but drinks were available in the bar so can see why this wasnt offered. Nothing else was wrong at all.

Great basic option with stylish touches

Brilliant location, lovely staff team at reception and bar, very stylish communal areas and functional rooms which are very clean and cheerful. Pleasant breakfast. Bar menu is fab.

Rooms aren't huge (not surprisingly); they are effective and comfortable but basic after the lovely public areas. On check out day they tried to clean my room 3 hours before checkout time (I saw this in another review of a Motel One, it may be policy.)

Nice and stylish 3 star hotel in city centre

The hotel is in city centre, at walking time by all tourist spots, commercial streets... It is nice, clean and comfortable and the rooms are quite spacious, the bed is big and comfortable and the bathroom has all ammenities included.

Breakfast was a bit short in offer/variety although everything they have is organic and local and thats a plus.

Very good

King size bed was appropriately large and comfortable. Location was amazing, just a bit outside the city center and thus walking to all the sightseeing sites was easy to do. As all the Motel One hotels that I have stayed at, there is a lounge bar that is very convenient and that serves good cocktails until late in the evening. Staff was helpful and let us check in a bit in avance.

Room was quite small (apart from the bed) and there is carpeting everywhere (but rather clean).

Modern and comfortable stay in the centre of Aachen

Comfortable and modern rooms and reception/lounge area, close to the train station and in the centre of Aachen, a short walk to shops and restaurants. We used this as a base for the Spa Formula 1 Grand Prix, as did many others, and it was a very convenient stay.

Breakfast was quite pricey and there could’ve been more options for the price.

A nice hotel, comfortable but nothing special - the location is excellent

Very good location - the front of the hotel area is a bit shabby, but less than 2 mins walk behind puts you in the centre of the cathedral quarter, great location. Bar staff were nice. Bed very comfortable, and room was nice overall. WiFi good and chrome cast available on the tv.

Not very personal, no pointers on Aachen or simple directions in the room etc., everything very standard. The staff at check in were very matter of fact and not particularly friendly, felt like I was being given a favour. The bathroom had a big problem with moisture and got it got soaked when the shower was used, no air extraction working. The water was also inconsistent, sometimes very hot and other times very cold. Parking not really offered - the garage is consistent full (very few spaces in reality). Parking is available very close by, but you will pay well for it. Overall though a very nice hotel - just little things 🙂

Good value for money - nicely located

Located nicely in the center, very good value for money. Everything is exactly as described as on the website so you know what you will get.

Something to be prepared for is that the hotel does not provide parking, as stated on the website, and the closest public parking was always full during our stay so we had to walk a little further to and from the parking to the next closest one (about 10 minutes). Also keep in mind that the public parkings are not cheap (about 15-20€ per day).
