The central location was perfect for visiting all the main sites with nice rooftop views.

Noisy night from people in the street. The room was basic, with no tea or coffee making facilities available.

Great location close to the main square and cathedral. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. I'm glad we paid a bit more for a bigger room with a seating area and a view over the old town.

I found it hard to give a fair rating, as this isn't a hotel, there is mostly no manned reception. If that's what you want, then this is a good place. Having said that, we saw a lady on checkout who was lovely, very friendly. Housekeeping also checked during our stay to see if we wanted more towels, looroll etc The room got fairly hot, despite leaving the curtains closed but to be fair, there was a heatwave, and as we left, we discovered there was a fan/cooling unit in the wardrobe!

Perfect central location, just on the central square of Aachen. Very nice and quiet little hotel with cozy rooms. Clean and well organized

There is no elevator and the stairs are a bit steep. Consider this if you intend to travel with much luggage. I did not - so it was no issue.

At first, everything was perfect. Especially the center location in the old town of Aachen. Also the price for three day was very reasonable.

There were two main issues. The wifi was so weak on the second floor, there was no use of it. We raised our complain but a router restart didnt help. Second, there were strange sounds and cracks in the wall. Especially during the night it was very disturbing. The bulding is old and this is probably the consequence. At night (Friday and Saturday) the surounding is pretty loud until late hours if you keep your window open. There is no air-condition, so be prepared for that. Unfortunatelly, based on this experience I would not return to this hotel in the future.
