We loved our stay and was so pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was a Michelin restaurant.

Comfortable stay overlooking Lake Maggiore

We had the use of a one bedroom suite with sofa bed in a separate annex to the main building with a good sized balcony overlooking fabulous view of the lake. The bed was very comfortable and there was everything we needed (mini bar, tv, kettle with coffee and tea making facilities, mini toiletries), towels were good. We booked a table at the hotel’s restaurant well in advance of our stay and it was the highlight of our trip (it was very busy and it seemed not just with tourists). We ate very well, after having been welcomed with a complimentary glass of Prosecco, and the service was excellent. The food was refined but not too much so, we paid €145 for 2 adults and 2 children for a 3 course meal and a half bottle of wine. Hotel guests get 10% off the bill which was applied automatically.

The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable and there was some noise as patrons left the restaurant late at night. Check-in and check-out left us a bit cold, we felt we were bothering the staff which was a shame compared to the restaurant service which was excellent. We couldn’t easily find the hotel reception which was actually inside the restaurant. But overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

A perfect stay with breathtaking views and peaceful nature

The hotel is up on a hill with a gorgeous view of the lake. Our room had a spectacular view — truly one of the highlights of our stay. There are benches all around the yard where you can relax and enjoy the view, and the sunsets were amazing. One evening, we even saw deer walking through the garden — such a nice surprise. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent (worth booking ahead if you're staying over the weekend). The town is only a 20-minute walk away, so it was easy to go explore without taking the car. Everything felt calm and welcoming. We had a great stay and are already looking forward to coming back.

Amazing view on the lake, 10min drive to nice beach place in Cerro to swim in the lake, very clean room with small balcony with view on the lake, amazing dinner in the restaurant at the hotel at reasonable price

Breakfast could have been more elaborate and was not really refilled. I think the hotel is also popular for weddings when we left at 10.30am they were in full preparation for a wedding ceremony.

Amazing view over the Lago Maggiore. Very friendly staff, Spacious and clean rooms. There is also a very nice restaurant where you have to make a reservation. It is one of our most favourite places to come back.

Beautiful and well maintained complex. Great room with a fantastic view of the lago! The dinner in the restaurant was wonderful! Great atmosphere, very good food.

The room can get very warm in the summer. There was only a ceiling fan. Breakfast was good, but we would have liked a bit more choice. A hand shower would have been handy in the shower. There was only a fixed rain shower.

Nice place, but really uncomfortable stay in the side building apartment.

Unfortunately, we were situated in the side building, which is situated right by the parking lot, it was noisy in the evenings. We were disappointed, because in the reviews, this hotel was labeled as calm place to stay. Because of the Michelin restaurant, the place is really busy and guests are leaving late, so except Monday evening, when the restaurant is closed, we heard all the cars leaving and guests saying goodbyes, till 00:30 at least. During the evening, the staff was using the storage under our apartment frequently, so it was unpleasant and noisy too. They used it even after the guests left, probably to store things, so we heard them even at 1 a.m. in the morning. Another problem was there is no air conditioning and in this especially hot summer, it is crazy. But this is our mistake. We did not check it in advance. This apartment is situated near the exit of the parking lot and there are also trash cans by the exit gate. It smelled a lot, especially at night, when there was the only time to ventilate the room by opening all windows. The fridge/minibar is not working properly. The items inside were not cold. In the shower there is only overhead shower, so if you want to shower, it is not easy to not wash your head every time. And the last problem was there was no place to store our bikes. The staff person, who gave us the keys, when we came, said we could leave the bikes at the terrace/balcony, which is nonsense - it would not be protected at all. It is accessible for anyone to come and take it :( So we rather stored all three bikes in the apartment, which was not very comfortable, but it was safer. I am sorry for writing such review, because we were expecting something absolutely different according to other reviews. The guests probably usually stay in the main building I suppose. Not in this one :( To be fair, I must add, that the hotel operating manager was very kind to us, trying to offer some solution.

We enjoyed our stay. Calm and relaxin space to celebrate our anniversary with stunning view. I have to say that we were there in February, so wasn't high season. They have a restaurant in their property with high quality service and staff. If you're looking for a romantic get away, this is your spot!

In general: Disappointing if you take out the view. Pro: Great view on the lake, nice and green environment

Contra: Not managed and done with passion, the management is only relying on the view i. e. 1. Rooms: - not at all like on the pictures a) Dark, no decor, feels like a 2 star hotel (even for Italian standards) b) No/not sufficient AC - unbearable to sleep c) View from room far away from what was shown on the pictures - Breakfast: a) Unfriendly staff, not a can-do sloppy, super inconsistent quality b) Food was a joke: dry bread, ham and cheese the cheapest and non-tasting you can get - Check-in/out: No welcoming feeling, were told - "don't ask me about the restaurant" and if he wanted to ask - never came back to us, weird check-out process - Restaurant: Super loud until 12 am, parked out even our parking spot, took 20 minutes to resolve Maximum rate for this hotel should be around 100-105 Euros, not worth more

Location meravigliosa. Stanze spaziose e pulite. Staff molto gentile e preparato. Abbiamo cenato nella struttura ed abbiamo mangiato divinamente. Sicuramente consigliatissimo e da tornarci.

Alles super, bis auf das Badezimmer.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, nettes Personal, geräumiges Zimmer, gutes Bett, sehr ruhig. Gutes Frühstück. Der Chef hat gleich glutenfreies Brot gebracht.

Das Badezimmer ist nicht optimal. Zwei Ablageschränkchen waren sehr wackelig und die Dusche hat nur einen Regen-Duschkopf - die Haare werden immer nass.
