Perfet stay by the Lake Maggiore

Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a view of lake Maggiore from the big balcony. Bed and linen - perfect. Breakfasts are delicious and healthy and served at the requested time. Property located in a quiet neighborhood outside of the center of the town, but within an easy reach of all points of interest.

Driving there sometimes get a little problematic if you aren't used to the mountain roads.

Wonderful view

It took a little time to get there by foot but it worth it. We had a wonderful view from the room! Quite hard for us to speak only italian but we did it ; the host was really kind and the breakfast huge.

Exceptional

An absolutely delightful hostess who could not be more disposed towards guests. Superb view from our terrace supported by a fully equipped kitchen and dining room for the benefit of guests. Safe parking and a great location for doing Stresa and the Borromean island- Isola Bella is a must do! The ancient path to and from Stresa is a 20 minute stiffish walk - Stresa is great fun. We didn't move the car in 3 days! Well done Casa Madonna- mille gracia!

Charming place to get some rest on Lago Maggiore

Charming villa located on a slope of a hill overlooking Lago Maggiore. From the balcony of our spacious room we had a nice view of the lake. In the summer it is possible to eat breakfast on the terrace with a view but in September it was a little too cold. The hosts are very hospitable - when we arrived late, we were able to dine on the spot and the dinner was very nice indeed. The villa is located on the outskirts of Stresa - you may choose to drive downtown but you may as well take the old road which passes right above the building and walk to town across an Alpine forest.

A pleasant place to stay

The B&B is located nearby the center of beautiful Stresa (walking distance via a -at night very dark- path), with a view over the lake. The kind owners will do everything to make you feel at home, but only speak Italian (translate via app). A nice room with a good bed. Very good breakfast!

The friendliness of owners

The property was very tired and neglected. The day we arrived our room smelt very stale and because dogs were allowed (there were two staying in the other two rooms when we were there) I do think this contributed to the smell.

come per altri B & B la colazione di tipo continentale era a pagamento, colpa nostra che non abbiamo capito, però avevamo a disposizione una cucina per fare colazione con cappuccino e brioche

la struttura è abbastanza lontana dal centro di Stresa e dal lungo lago, sono 5 minuti in macchina ma 20 e passa a piedi, siccome noi siamo andati in moto, quando è piovuto siamo stati costretti ad andare a piedi anche se i gestori del B & B ci avevano proposto di portarci con la macchina in centro.

Premier étape pour notre périple en Italie, la propriétaire est très sympathique, la maison est un peu excentrée du cent

La chambre était spacieuse, la literie était bonne, et le plus est la mise à disposition de la cuisine.

Le fait que la cuisine soit vraiment au cœur des trois chambres, nous n’avons pas eu de mise, mais cela peut en avoir si les trois chambres sont loués.

La propreté n'était pas là. Des insectes dans le logement ( fourmis ailées, gros taon noir, des moustiques, un cafard). Une salle de douche bien trop petite 1,5 m sur 1, 8 m pour un évier une minuscule douche , un bidet, un WC, pas de placard. Bien trop petit. Matelas pas confortable. Penderie vétuste. Câbles et prises sales. Une prise wifi qui s'illumine toute la nuit une seconde vert une seconde bleu, difficile à dormir donc.. Parking limite

Un lugar para disfrutar de las vistas del lago Maggione y desconectar!!!

La anfitriona es una persona entrañable y cariñosa. Hizo que todo estuviera fenomenal. Nos dejó diferentes cosas para el desayuno ( café, leche, croissants, ...). Todo muy bien incluso una botella de agua para cada uno en la mesilla de noche. Muchas gracias Valentina y esperamos que tu hijo se recupere de la operacion y tu nieta también se le pase la fiebre y se encuentre mejor. Un sitio totalmente recomendable.

Como es un sitio con mucha vegetación hay muchos mosquitos. Mejor llevar repelente pero eso no dependió para nada de Vakentina. El sitio espectacular!!!!

Petits déjeuners trop copieux. Cuisine aménagée donne la possibilité de faire des repas. Chambre Confortable.

Le propriétaire ne parle pas Français ni Anglais, oblige à utiliser le traducteur pour dialoguer. Un peu loin du centre de Stresa, pas loin de 30 minutes à pied sinon oblige à prendre la voiture. Pas de resto à proximité.

We hadden heel veel ruimte voor onszelf overdag een fantastisch uitzicht en in de nacht vuurvliegjes in de tuin. Het was schoon de eigenares had s'morgens iets lekkers neergelegd en was heel behulpzaam
