My wife and I are already looking forward to our next stay at Stresa Residence.

Our apartment occupied two floors. It is beautifully designed and furnished with spacious rooms, two large bathrooms, excellent kitchen facilities and a balcony which provided us a lovely, peaceful place to relax. The location was perfect, a short walk to the lakefront and to shops and restaurants. Giuliano, our host, could not have been more charming and helpful. He insisted on carrying our luggage up the narrow stairway three flights to our rooms AND carrying everything down at the end of our visit.

Next visit we'll opt for an apartment on a lower floor.

In the centre of the centre of sublime Stresa

The greeting was warm, the location in the centre of Stresa was fabulous and a great base for exploring beautiful Lake Maggiore and further afield to Lake Orta. Close to both ferry and bus. Apartment was spacious and airy, lovely bathroom and excellent luggage storage that kept floor space clear. Postioned above a nice restaurant but still quiet. The delightful balcony, both front and back, was a real highlight allowing for private aperitif or dinner with view and atmosphere. Would come back - again and again.

A fantastic apartment

This is a lovely apartment in a great location. You are less than 5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal, a bus stop, a supermarket, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment itself is great. Everything is clean, well maintained and all the basics are provided including good quality bedding and towels. The bed folds away but it's a king size, comfortable mattress and we actually left it down during our stay as there is plenty of room. The terrace is great, a sun trap but a large parasol is provided. Giuliano is a fantastic host. he really wants to make sure everything is done for you to be able to have a good holiday. We would love to return.

Exceptional apartment in Stresa, rare find!!

The apartment is lovely, spotlessly clean and comfortable! I location is ideal...you literally walk out the door into the heart of everything. It's quiet as well. Both the bedrooms have air conditioning so you can climate control for your comfort. It's also incredible to have this much space, and a 2 bedroom 2 bath with both having complete privacy...amazing. Giuliano was an exceptional host. Very communicative, flexible, and incredibly helpful in supporting me to figure out the area and transportation back to MXP. I absolutely would recommend this apartment and will definitely stay there again when I return. Thank you Giuliano for everything!!

We loved our stay in Stresa, it's a fantastic location so central and so close to the Lakes so very convenient and nice to be in the thick of it to walk to restaurants and caffes.

Wonderful

Excellent location within minutes from ferries and hop-on hop-off boats. The apartment is located in the centre of the old town amidst restaurants, cafes, shops, wine bars, etc. The host was wonderful- extremely helpful and kind. The apartment was immaculate and very comfortable. There is a little balcony at the front and the rear of the apartment.

Excellent stay in a very nice town, with plenty of opportunities for excursions.

The apartment is very spacious on two separate floors and located centrally in the city of Stresa. Two perfect bathrooms, and nice balcony. Noise from the street was hardly noticable in the case of closed windows. Airconditioning present to avoid apartment becoming too hot inside. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. We were nicely surprised by the receipt of a small present when we left.

The bedroom at the higher floor was very nicely decorated. The room on the lower floor, containing the kitchen and the living room (also acting as the second bedroom) was somewhat soberly decorated.

It was an enjoyable stay and we would gladly recommend this apartment

The apartment is nice, spacious, extremely clean and furnished in a quite smart way. It is located in the very center of Stresa so everything is close. Pets are allowed which is a huge plus for us. All in all we enjoyed our stay a lot.

The location in the center means that it can get very noisy, especially because of the restaurant on the ground floor of the same building. But it closes at around 23:30 so for us it was not a problem. But for someone with a kid it could be a deal-breaker.

Excellent stay in the heart of the old city, lovely host

The apartment was well-furnished and offered all the necessary mod-cons, including good air-conditioning and excellent window shutters. We liked its excellent location; despite being in the heart of the old town, it was on a fairly quiet street. Free parking was available about 200 metres away and the Stresa ferry station was a mere two-minute walk from the apartment. Our host was both friendly and welcoming. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay.
