Casa Diverio

The location, facilities of Casa Diverio, the service given by Susy and the other staff was above and beyond what was expected. Well worth a visit not only to Casa Diverio but to Stresa.

Ideal location with supermarket, laundromat, restaurants and lake all very close. Susy was very welcoming and informative with great communication. Apartment was clean and comfortable, reasonably well appointed and quite spacious. We didn’t cook but having the fridge, microwave and other utensils meant we could organise snacks, breakfast etc easily. An elevator in the building was a big bonus !

Great location close to many restaurants and the lake. Also easy access by foot from the train station without too much luggage. The property was clean and comfortable.

One of the best holidays we've had in years! The hotel is excellent — clean, comfortable, and very well located. Perfect base for exploring the Borromean Islands, the train station just a short walk away. There's also a great supermarket right next door. The room had everything we needed, including all the essential appliances. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay — your hotel is truly fantastic!

We like the fact that Casa Diverio is modern, clean and conformable. It has all the facilities needed if you wanted to stay in to cook at meal. It is very well located right in the centre of Stresa and is walking distance from the railway station. Susy was very welcoming and gave us lots of information about restaurants and things to do. This was our second stay at Casa Diverio and we would certainly plan to stay again if we come back to Stresa.

Only a minor thing, but we found the pillows slightly uncomfortable on the final night. This did not impact the quality of our sleep.

Perfect location to train station and water front. Also a very nice super market right next to the apartment. Very neat and clean apartment with free soap and washing liquid. Lively neat kitchen with stove top and microwave. Also had a wonderful host she was the best and went out of her way to help us.

This place was exceptional. It was in a perfect location with parking nearby and access to everything right outside the doors. The host, Susy, was extremely accommodating of all our needs, including the several last-minute changes we had to make. She also helped with suggesting restaurants and, in fact, making reservations our first night. I would highly recommend Casa Diverio.

Not a bad thing about this property. 1 minute away from all the main restaurants and bars and 3 mins to the lake. Excellent host Suzy and the apartment was amazing!

Excellent location, close to centre / squares, lakeside and supermarket. Excellent host, very clean and nice balcony.

No comfortable seating, only bed settee with limited backrest and unupholstered chairs. Crockery an eclectic mix, no decent cups / mugs / breakfast dishes. Microwave shelf drooping off wall.

Lovely place to stay and centrally located . We stayed for a wedding so accommodated a few of us . Well equipped , comfy clean beds . Staff were really friendly and sorted our late check in with ease . One day hot tub was a bit grubby but lovely and clean the next . I would stay again .

The apartment was clean, comfortable, safe and you really can’t beat the location. We came by train and it was an easy 10 minute walk from the station. It’s very close to the Piazza, where you can get dinner and finish it off wth an ice cream. There’s also a supermarket downstairs which is connected to the property and being a guest means you get 10% off. If you need to do laundry there is a laundry Matt 30 meters away. We found all this very handy. The ferry terminal is a nice also easy walk where you can buy tickets to visit other towns. Next to the ferry terminal is another ticket box where you can buy tickets to the Borromean islands Madre, Bella and Pescatore (Also known as Superiore). The cost is $15 euro person per adult and for two of the islands you need to pay to see the gardens and castle. The cost to see both is $36 euro but you really need to see them as they are amazing. I highly recommend this apartment as you will not be disappointed. Thankyou to Suzi our host.

Great location, great sized apartment

It was quite noisy at night/early morning as just off the main square however understandable due to location. Hot tub was a bit dirty when we used it however visited the next day and this had been cleaned

Casa Diverio was really centrally located in Stresa. Great space, lovely welcome, fantastic terrace area.

Hospitality at its best. Your hostess is amazing; helpful with recommendations for the town and area, an absolute professional, prompt with communication and so friendly and upbeat. The studio is spacious, modern and super comfortable in all areas. Lovely furnishings and decor. The location is in the heart of town, stepping directly out into the atmospheric cobblestoned streets with shops, eateries, bars and a supermarket right next door. Just a very short less than 5 minute walk and you're lakeside along with being at the public ferry dock. Wonderful!

The location, a 15 minute walk from Stresa station, right in the heart of the beautiful old town. Perfect for getting the ferry to the islands , walking the promenade and restaurants. The apartment was beautiful, modern and extremely comfortable. Information to assist in navigating the area was provided as was a discount card for supermarket purchases at an excellent Carrefour next door. We were sad to leave.

Apartment was clean, modern and spacious and had everything we needed. Also service in the reception was over the moon, and we got help really quickly when our flight was cancelled - we were able to prolong out stay.

Plenty of space, kitchen well equipped, large balcony, comfy bed and extra pillows. Staff were very friendly and even dropped us to the train station with our luggage when we were going to book a taxi - very much appreciated. One minute walk to the restaurant area, 2 minutes to the ferry and a supermarket next door - great location.

Great property in the most convenient central location. The apartment was bright, modern, comfortable and very clean with its own little terrace. Having kitchenette facilities was really useful - one could easily have cooked a full meal, although I did not! Susy couldn't have been more helpful providing info on local amenities, etc. and was very accommodating on check-in times. Thank you for a perfect stay. Highly recommended.

Excellent apartment for short stay in Stresa, located next door to Carrefour supermarket and close to ferry, well-stocked kitchen and comfortable bedroom. The hostess was close by to give help if necessary.

Susy was extrmely helpful and made my stay very welcoming

I couldn't get a taxi at 6.45am when I left so had to walk to the station. But Susie tried hard for me.

This is a wonderful apartment in the very center of Stresa, 100 m from the Lago Maggiore, a supermarket right in the building, many boulangeries and restaurants just around. But what makes this apartments unique is the wonderful hostess Suzi - clear, attentive, caring and always helping with any questions. Very recommended for visiting North Italy, especially for visiting Lake Maggiore and beautiful islands in it.

When we unexpectedly got stranded in Domodossola due to flooding and a train cancellation, Suzy went above and beyond to help us work out a way to get to stresa. She was incredibly supportive during a stressful time, even offering to come and pick us up if needed. Once we arrived, the apartment was lovely—clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. There was even a shop next door where we received a discount from Suzy as well as great recommendations for restaurants and local attractions. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended!

Spacious, comfortable, light, great location

Fantastic apartment in the centre of Stresa Town. We had apartment 10 with 3 balconies, 2 with lake views and a large one overlooking the spa area, which was perfect for relaxing. The bed was large and comfortable. Bathroom facilities were really good. Couldn't fault the apartment of the welcome we received.

Fabulous location in town centre with ferry to Borromean Islands at end of road. Carrefour next door. Music from nearby Square to chill on the balcony. SkyBar, open air bar on top of nearby hotel for fabulous views.

No parking and difficult nearby - drop luggage off then try the railway station < 10 minute walk.
