The location was about a 20 minute walk from the main area of Stresa which was nice since we didn't feel like figuring out parking on a busy travel weekend. About halfway through the walk you are already at the boardwalk area next to the lake which is very pleasant. The lodging had a lock box to accommodate late check-ins. We drove from Germany and the Swiss highways shut down so we arrived extremely late in the night since we had to take an alternative mountain highway to reach Lago Maggiore. The apartment itself was clean, had the essentials such as a kettle, napkins, a mini fridge and such. The patio was nice with a beautiful partial view of the lake. Would stay again.
Occasionally the host was a tad lingering. The morning after we arrived late, we noticed him walking past several times to collect the city tax and during checkout, he was right at our door at 10 am to make sure we got out. He said the cleaners were there but we didn't see anyone yet. We were out less than 10 minutes later. The apartment was nice, but spartan. We wouldn't really hang out inside it much since the lake was so close by anyways.

2ieme séjour dans ce studio,agréable,bien agencé,confortable. terrasse plaisante avec une petite vue sur le lac;dans un joli village;on n'est pas loin du lac et du centre de Stresa.une jolie vue sur le lac et les montagnes,quand on remonte,à pied. Satisfaits de notre séjour,même si la météo a été, cette fois-ci, capricieuse---
