    Perfectly located no need for a car to explore Stresa town and islands. We had a lake view room on the top floor and it was worth paying extra for the view. Staff were lovely and breakfast had plenty of options. The use of the Regina palace hotel pool was wonderful. Nice place to cool off on hot afternoons. Only negative was we just wish we had the option of streaming services or some English channels. Satellite TV but all in Italian - just for our small amount of time staying in due to some wet weather. Also no hair conditioner in the shower. Unusual to be missing this. But otherwise great hotel- loved that it was older style Italian furnishings with classic murano glass chandeliers.

    Everything was fantastic. The highlight (except from the lake view) was the pool!! We had a lovely time.

    The hotel room was nice and some of the staff were very friendly and helpful, like the staff at breakfast and also the lady at reception most afternoons. But there was a real lack of service, considering how much I paid for the room. They would not bring an iron, there was no bottle opener, and i had to go to the bar for them to open the wine bottle and then carry the bottle and glasses up myself...and my room, being on the top floor, there was a flight of stairs to climb. So, definitely not worth the price
