good pace for shorter stay

the location was great , the host was very nice , tried to help us a lot and gave us a lot of places and activities . she even sent her daughter to help us when we had problems

there was a lot of noise from the apartment above , there were not enough utilities in the kitchen not enough pots and tea spoons , we were there 6 days and no one change the towels and shits even once . (when we told her she went to buy us pot)

Everything was very good, very close to the train station, I think 7 minutes walk, very close to the center and the ferryboat station, 3-5 minutes walk. It was clean, pleasant, a large balcony and a welcoming room. Stresa is a gorgeous town.You will find a Carrefour store very close to the center and a Conad store near the train station.

A very good base for exploring Lake Maggiore.

The location was perfect for us: not far from the ferries, station, bus stop, shops and supermarket. Rooms were a good size for 2 people. Bathroom had been recently upgraded, it seemed. The bed was comfortable and it was good to have a balcony. The little entrance was quite charming.

Previous reviewers suggested that the host would be very welcoming and helpful, but in spite of saying she would meet us on arrival, we never saw her. Communication was by text only. The sofa bed was rather uncomfortable as a sofa. Instructions for the coffee machine would have been helpful, (i.e. what size of pod to use, as we bought the wrong type twice, and there was no alternative means of making coffee.) The one beside lamp would have been better if it had its own connecting plug.

Amazingly nice home away from home and lovely hosts

This place is a proper gem for vacation in lovely Stresa! Feels like home away from home. We stayed in the ground floor apartment with direct connection to the lovely little garden which is a great thing with kids as well. The host family is amazing too. Very nice, polite and friendly with a great touch of giving you the space you want for your vacation. We will definitely stay here again!

The property price was incorrectly listed and owner asked for the cleaning fee to be paid for on top of price advertised and agreed upon. The cleaning fee of 45 euro was stated as included on my confirmation which I showed him but he stated that was a Booking.com error ! so despite records to show otherwise I had to pay the extra for cleaning fee. . This is the first time this has occurred and I have used Booking.com many times.😕

Really enjoyed Stresa and Lake Maggiore

The area is delightful and Casa Lari is well placed for access. The room was of a reasonable size and the bathroom was practical. The equipment met the schedule supplied by Booking.com

Reception was rather confusing as it was done by phone and we were directed to the wrong room. The wife of the owner then arrived and put us straight as to which apartment was ours. After she had gone we realised that the bed had only an undersheet and pillow and remembering the other apartment which was vacant and had a bed-cover and I was tired and ready for bed, we borrowed it so as not to disturb the owner. This did not go down well!!!

Great location, well equipped apartment

Great location, just 200 m from numerous places to eat, supermarkets, the promenade, and the terminal for boats to the Borromean Islands. Although it was only two steps from the busy center of the town, the place was very quiet. It was well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The host was very polite.

Lovely studio apartment close to Lake Maggiore.

The studio apartment was small but well designed with everything we needed. The location was great - right in the heart of things so easy to reach good bars and restaurants and the lake was just 5 minutes walk away. The owner was helpful and friendly, sorting out a minor issue we had with the kitchen. Despite the issue we had with accessing the property , we would be more than happy to return.

We had a problem with getting into the property which could have been avoided if the owner had provided us with door access codes in advance. It didn't take long to sort out the issue but it wasn't a good feeling arriving after a long journey to find we couldn't get in.

Best stay in Stresa

Super facility with amazing hosts. The apartment is big enough for comfortable stay of three adults and a baby. Hosts are very helpful and friendly. A nice touch was a big box of entertaining supplies for our kid: coloring books, pencils, water colors and many more. Location is fantastic! 5 min walk max to restaurants, lake, ferry, supermarket. Home Made Pasta opposite from the apartment - is an absolute must have! Margarethine from the bakery down the same street are the best in Stresa (and we’ve tried them everywhere).

I love Casa Lari. Location is great and it is very clean

But there are a few things missing to help us have a nice stay. 1. Basics: It was missing some basic yet generous things for the guests: coffee capsules, kitchen towel, toilet paper, hand wash. things that you like to find wherever you go 2. Some advice: where to eat, where to go, what to do

Flott, komfortabel og ren leilighet. Deilig med egen hage og utemøbler. Utrolig sentralt like ved gamleby, torg, restauranter, matbutikk (2 minutter) og strand. Stort soverom med dobbeltseng og mye skapplass. Ny sovesofa i stue/kjøkken som var svært lett å gjøre om til dobbeltseng. Praktisk og bekvemt bad - og godt utstyrt kjøkken. Ulikt Norge så er sengene redd opp med kun en felles dyne/laken. Ekstra kan bestilles på forespørsel. Vi bodde her i fire netter - og velger gjerne samme sted ved et nytt besøk. Enkel kommunikasjon med vertskap via WhatsApp
