Great location but room only suitable for sleeping in

Perfect location for visiting the islands

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. There was some nice body lotion in the bathroom. The location is perfect for visiting the islands because the port is literally across the street.

The room without lake view was very dark due to the narrow streets in town. The bathroom was large but very basic. All the parking options were payed - it would have been be fare to announce it in the description of the place.

A fantastic lake front hotel in Verbania that one must consider staying in

The hotel location is outstanding and the rooms were spacious and offered partial views of the lake. The staff was extremely helpful in checking us in and very friendly and swift at the time of check-out as well. The breakfast spread was typical of any European small town hotel - simple and sufficient.

Great place for a few nights.

The breakfast was just ok. I missed a larger assortment of bread or rolls. Otherwise it was great. The dining room was pretty and spacious. The staff were all very sweet and attentive. For the money definitely great value.

All over Italy the bathrooms don’t have any place where you can put your toiletries bags and brushes But that’s ok too.

Pleasant hotel to stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Good size of rooms, good WiFi. Hotel is located just in front of Lago Maggiore lake. Plenty of caffees and restaurants nearby on walking distance. Tasty and sufficient breakfast.

A nice stay

It's right next to ferry terminal. We like the lake view. The gentleman wearing glass at front desk is so polite and professional. Actually all the staff at hotel are cheerful and energetic and upbeat. It gave me the best impression of group of staffs of our trip.

Hotel sounds insulation is poor due to the age of hotel. But I was aware of it and didn't bother much.

A very good hotel, great atmosphere, beautiful decor, clean, nice staff and a super location right at the lake in the historic center of Verbania with lots of nice terraces and views over Lago Maggiore. You are close to the Lake but you have also great access to the surrounding mountains. The hotel offers an extensive breakfast and dinner. Special thanks to Alessio, who is very friendly and always helpful to the guests during breakfast and dinner!

the location is great right by the ferry. we booked a lake facing view and it was on the first floor. would recommend booking second or third floor if pos so you can see over the trees at the front of the hotel

Nothing too fancy in this typically Italian lakeside hotel but we would definitely return

Super lakeside location opposite the ferry stop for the Borromean Islands and Stresa. Charming , helpful staff in reception. Off site secure car parking. We were pleased to be given a room in the adjoining Horel Belvedere which had a side view of the lake - upper floor rooms generally quieter and a lake view a must.

Breakfast was good if a little dull In its food selection.

Air conditioner worked as fan, not as A/C, there is no way to adjust desire temperature down ,owner keeps temperature 25,5 degrees everywhere in every room controlled by the office.

Good value at a great location for Lake Maggiore

location was perfect, right by the pallanza ferry station. the room had a lake view which was what I reserved but the size of the room was small. the breakfast, included in the room rate, could have been better. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful

breakfast could be better quality. Also the room could have been bigger.

Located opposite the ferry terminal made it easy to get around, the rooms although a little basic were comfortable and breakfast was a good selection.
