Verbania - Luxury Italy Apartments

I was in Verbania for three days with my daughter during her rhythmic gymnastics competition. This was a quiet and very well functioning place to stay while our short visit and stresful schedule with a long 14h day at the sports hall. The staff was extremely kind and kept good contact with us. The room was spacious and over all very clean. Only the bathroom cabinet was dusty but other than that everything was spotless and a huge plus for very well funtioning AC. The bathroom was also spacious and a huge plus from a good water pressure AND functioning drainage in the shower. With my extensive travels in Italy it’s not always a given to have a well funtioning shower even when they’re renovated and looks good. We had a small refrigerator that fitted few big water bottles and my daughter’s snacks. The hotel is situated in a very clean and nice area right in the heart of the old town and less than a minute from the beach promenade. I will definatelly book again. Thank you very much <3

Terrible communication with owner. She claims to speak English, but doesn't answer your question/request because she doesn't understand you. NO PARKING possible at all! You have to walk over a very very long distance with all your suitcases. Parking is a nightmare, because there are not enough parking spots in general, let alone for vacationers. The place itself is extremely difficult to find and an explanation is not given. The owner(s) are not able to explain, so you have to ask locals (who often are foreigners themselves and therefore not familiar with the neighborhood) or finally the police. The apartment itself is great (!), the security doors are a bit (too) much but gives you a safe stay.

Beautiful l, spacious and comfortable apartment above Piazza Costello with a beautiful view of Lake Maggiore. Apartment is a bit difficult to locate. Parking is limited and distant. Once we arrived at the apartment, our trip was most enjoyable.

The apartment was lovely, modern, & clean. The location was perfect and near restaurants, bus, ferry, grocery, and shopping.

Positives: very clean,close to all amenities, baby cot,high chair,dishwasher,washing machine, kettle,coffee maker,new furniture,reliable WiFi,sky tv for those who watch tv. Owner available on the phone at any time. Negatives: Heating was already broken and not sorted in 5 days. First night the temperature indoors was 16°C. I then requested an electric heater which was kindly taken to me at 8pm the following night, but electricity capacity wasn’t enough to heat the flat and cook (induction) or use dishwasher as it would trip, needing to run downstairs to the ground floor to reset the mains each time. I was honest with the owner and told him why I was unhappy but after my stay I was told That the broken part didn’t arrive in time and I could have gone elsewhere for a refund (not easy when it’s low season, and I am travelling on my own with two kids and a baby) instead of offering me any different accommodation due to the lack of basic provision. Sadly no info was given to me after the third evening to keep me updated either. Some kitchen saucepans unsuitable for induction nobs. No appliances manuals and instructions available. NO daily housekeeping, unlike advertised. Furthermore, The flat I was given is not pictured in the advert, it is completely different, dark,its windows overlook the building internal courtyard. Some safety concern for bedroom windows.Customers need to be aware that the flat given might differ from the pictures shown and possibly have no view at all.
