Perfect for short getaway

Loved the location, just around the corner from Pisa Centrale. On the 6th floor above Carrefour shop. It was a flying visit. Arrived after 2.30pm, spoke with Paulo who was lovely. Dropped bags and straight back to get a train to Florence. Breakfast was self service & so much food provided. The following morning we walked to the leaning tower in about 10-15 minutes.

I wasn't sure how to work the hot water in the shower but I'm sure Paulo would have told me if I wasn't in such a rush and would have contacted her if I was staying longer.

Affordable, quaint BnB for a quick getaway to Pisa. The owner gave us great recommendations for local restaurants.

It was perfectly located near to the train from the airport and around 15/20 minutes walk to the Tower. The bed was superb, very comfortable and the room was spacious and well decorated.

The location was great for visiting Pisa. Close to trains and buses. The room was comfortable and clean. There is a grocery store right next door. There is also a lovely balcony for guests to enjoy 😀

A great place to stay and very convenient

Our room was comfortable. The bathroom was small but a good size for us. The location was great, near the station and an easy walk to the main sights.

There was no kitchen so we didn’t have access to cutlery if we wanted to have a snack.

I’ll never forget my first trip to Italy. I’ll always remember how Paola, the landlady, took me up to the terrace — the view of the Pisa Tower was absolutely breathtaking! The location of the B&B is unbeatable: right in the heart of Pisa, within walking distance of all the main attractions, and only a five-minute drive from the airport. The breakfast was varied and very good. Paola is incredibly friendly and welcoming. My son left his headphones at the hotel, and Paola kindly texted us to let us know she had found them and that we could pick them up on our way back from Florence. When we returned to Pisa the day before our flight back to Spain, she was so thoughtful and made sure to be at the hotel to meet and greet us personally. We had such a lovely chat about our travels — she truly made time for us. We talked about how much we loved our trip and how much we enjoyed Pisa.

Charming, characterful B&B in Pisa

B&B Dei Cavalieri is less than 5 minutes walk from Pisa Centrale station and an easy walk to Pisa's historic 'Field of Miracles' where the leaning tower and cathedral are situated. Paola and her assistant are exceptional hosts with a gift for making guests feel welcome and cared for and instantly right at home. The B&B is charming and full of character, which reflects the owner. It's comfortable, immaculately clean and full of thoughtful touches. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect B and B for hospitality and walking distance from station

Great B and B a few minutes walk from the train station. Self-service breakfast with good selection of pastries, toast, cheese, hot drinks, juice etc. Owner allowed us to drop off bags early and gave advice on going to the beach. All round great hospitality.

Fabulous stay - highly recommend

The host greeted us upon arrival and was extremely informative and welcoming. We was shown everything including instructions for breakfast, which was self service and generously stocked. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and homely. The terrace has a view of the leaning tower. Great location, 5 minute walk from the train station and only 20 minutes walk to the tower and cathedral. Highly recommend.... we will definitely return.

A great stay in an Italian style home from home

The property was fantastic, we had a great stay. The room was a large triple, with comfy beds. We loved the Italian home style, and Paola was very welcoming and helpful with advice about what to see and walking routes to take. The property was easy to find (directly next to a Carrefour Express) and a short walk from the train station. Paola contacted us in advance to arrange our arrival time, which worked perfectly for check-in. Breakfast was self serve at a time that suited us which worked brilliantly for us with a three year old who wakes at 7am! While the breakfast room was hot, this was not an issue for us, the whole of Pisa was hot! Would certainly recommend a stay here.

We liked everything. The only comment we have is that the air-con in our room was not very cold, but nonetheless it was a very welcome relief from the humid and hot temperatures outside.

This is a lovely B&B. The host was very welcoming, and we had all we needed for a wonderful day in Pisa. The location, near the station and the pedestrian section of the town, is great.

The air conditioning struggled with the heat, and we were a little too hot at night, but we were there in exceptionally hot weather.

Friendly and responsive host. Excellent breakfast options. Great location (5 mins walk from station). Room was clean.. large and air-conditioned. Was really great! There is also a lift in case you have a heavy bag.

Very minor point... air-conditioning in the main dining area would have been nice (as it was CRAZY hot in there). Not a huge point but maybe something to consider in future.

Good location for station

The location for us was excellent as it was near the train station so very convenient for travel to airport or to other Italian destinations. The host was very helpful and the bed was comfortable. Not expensive

If you want to be close to the centre then it is 25 minutes walk. The room and bathroom were a little tired and the outside looks shabby

Perfect central location, and super comfortable

Amazing owner, great communication throughout. Very good check-in and out, very flexible too. Perfect location, amazingly comfortable beds, the hot water didn’t work in our room but it was so hot outside that we loved the refreshing coolness. Beautifully decorated room, nice breakfast.

Good value at a strategic location.

Excellent location close to train station and walking distance to Pisa Tower. Very helpful manager who explained how to get to relevant attractions. The room was fine, alright for a short stay! Breakfast was nice, good value for the cost of the room.

Overall it was good… the only thing that was a bit “tight” was the bathroom… and shower was not as good as other accommodations we stayed in Italy, but it was ok.

We strongly recommend this B&B.

Help yourself breakfast all played out so can go as early as you want. The location is great. Very near the station and a short walk to the tower, Duomo etc. You can see the tower from the balcony. The communication from the owner/manager was great and she was very helpful and spoke perfect English.

We liked Paola and her stylish location

The location is very close to the train station and relatively close to be able to walk (the town is small!) to Piazza dei Miracoli (and therefore to the leaning tower) which makes it a good choice for a mini-tourist trip! The location is very pleasant The first pleasant surprise was the operation of the elevator, because the location is on the 6th floor of the building! The common area (where Paola has arranged a portion for breakfast) is a beautiful one that exudes a family atmosphere. As for the breakfast, it was appreciated by us because although it was not a continental breakfast but rather an upgraded Italian one, we found a lot (and plenty) to be satisfied. For those who are into the English breakfast style or egg fans, you won't find anything like that BUT there are plenty of options (all cold) from which you can choose. Again, for the two nights we stayed there, the breakfast was good The room according to the description, was OK for two nights, but I will list some downsides below

If the first pleasant surprise was the elevator, it was also the first unpleasant one, because the motor driving it was somewhere very close to us and we could hear it with every command... Especially at night, this is unpleasant and for those who sleep lightly it can be a big problem. Moreover, the problem of sound insulation is one that we have constantly encountered in Italy. Here from our room, the conversations in the common area could be heard as if they were in our room... Similarly, when you flush the toilet, the sound can be heard throughout the apartment. It was disturbing that, despite the patience we were advised to have, the hot water did not flow during our stay!!!

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we were to return to Pisa.

The B&B is a charming property with lots of character. Our room was comfortable, clean and nicely furnished with a small balcony overlooking Pisa. The breakfast / lounge area was also very comfortable and had a quaint, Italian feel to it. For breakfast there was a good selection of cakes, pastries, yogurts, pancakes, meats, cheeses etc. which we very much enjoyed. No hot options, but we were not looking for that. Paula was a lovely hostess - she left us to ourselves once she checked us in and we very much felt like we had the place to ourselves and the other guests. She was also very happy to help and provide recommendations if needed.

The owner does not stay at the property and needs plenty of notice of arrival so she can check guests in. This was our fault but our phones were not working so could not provide notice - we ended up having to find someone in the street whose phone we could use and then wait outside the property for her to arrive to check us in. There was also a bit of an issue with locking / unlocking the door into the upstairs hallway where some inside guests seemed to get locked in. However, should not be a problem if you listen to the owner's instructions!
