Self service breakfast was lovely. Check in was great and host was friendly and helpful. Location perfect - near to train station but also close to sights and main shopping street. The host gave us a recommendation for a nearby pizza restaurant which was excellent and a great way to end our stay.

It felt a bit strange, like being in someone’s home when they were not there. We were made to feel very welcome but just felt a bit awkward. There was no fridge in the room for my husband’s medication and the aircon was not that cold. Despite this we still slept well.

Great place to stay. The location is very central and convenient, with easy access to everything you need. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was friendly, responsive, and very accommodating throughout my stay. I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

We liked everything: Paola is a perfect host, the rooms, breakfast room and terrace were all lovely. - and spotlessly clean - and there was plenty for the breakfast buffet, including superb coffee. The location is brilliant - our rooms were quiet, looking out over gardens at the back of the property, yet it's a few minutes walk from the station and from the start of the pedestrianised walk into town, and there's an excellent small supermarket right next door. It was 35 degrees, so the air con in the rooms was great to have too (I usually hate it, but this was quiet, simple to use and unobtrusive). If you're looking for a good base to explore Tuscany (and why wouldn't you be?!), then this is it. It was our first visit, but I'm sure we'll be back.
