Brilliant location for visiting Pisa

We had the Quadruple Room, which was fantastic with Double bed + ensuite in one and twin beds in the other adjoining room. Location really couldn't be better, at only 3-4 mins walk to the Leaning Tower and plenty of restaurants.

Nothing much. Tea/coffee making facility in the room would have been nice, instead of vending machine on the ground floor. Other than that it had everything we needed.

Lovely hotel, bad staff don’t enforce no smoking rules! Avoid if you’re a non-smoker!

The location is excellent. Our room (27) on the top floor is large with a big very comfy bed and a lovely view

It’s supposed to be no smoking but the man in the room next to us was chain smoking and the entire floor stank of smoke, which also seeped into our bathroom (shared extractor) and then into our room. We complained to staff but they did nothing to stop him so we had a big shouting match with him, and still the staff didn’t seem interested. Probably because it was the top floor and there’s no lift so they couldn’t be bothered to climb up 4 flights.

Good value for money and location for a short stay

Location, it‘s fascinating! Less than 10 mins walk from the Tower and around 15 mins of walk to the railway station. Also the team is smiley and nice and allowed me to store my luggage before the train for a couple of hours.

It‘s a little bit outdated. Don’t get me wrong - I travelled a lot around Italy and I love the feeling of old things and capable to appreciate it. But here I had a feeling that the place isn‘t very well maintained, but it‘s not a complaint, it just makes sense to keep it in mind in order to manage expectations. For 1 night stay it‘s a good value for money, I think :) also shared bathroom experience isn‘t for everyone, but you know that before arrival

Decent room close to the tower

The room was very nice. The bed was comfortable. The room and the bathroom were very clean. The place is so close to the tower!

The noise from the street at night because of the window not being soundproof at all. Also, some people were talking loudly in the corridor at night, but it only happened once out of the four nights (I didn't hear anything as I was hearing an ear plug but this was noticed by my son).

The check in staff were rude/indifferent at check in. Unbelievably noisy - banging doors to shared toilets etc. loud conversations at all hours - resulting in little sleep!

Property was in prime location, literally a two minute walk to Pisa Tower and other tourist destinations.

Great!

Location was great. literally 2 minutes from the Tower and the main road with all restaurants. Room was small but nice and clean. Staff was really welcoming. Great Experience

just because i have to point something out, no coffee in the morning downstairs. even though there was a coffee machine. However it was not a big deal for us. Maybe a mini fridge and a safe in the room would have made this place perfect.

Great location for a budget stay

I stayed in a single room on the top floor - it was simple but very clean and with good internet connection which was important to me as I had to work. The location is also very easy to reach from/to central station/airport and also with all of the cafeterias, bars, landmarks around.

The temperature in the room was quite high (I guess usual for July in Italy), had to sleep with the two available fans turned on and still was a bit too hot.

Pleasant, convenient, reasonable place

The personal is very friendly and helpful. They were reaching out about our time of arrival, kept our luggage during the day and helped to find a lost stuffed animal after our departure:) Even shipped it! Thank you Tomaso! Exceptional service! Room is charming, bed is comfortable. Location is great!

The only downside is absence of hot water in the shower on the day of our arrival. But on the hot day reasonably cool shower is not the end of the world:)

A great stay in Pisa

I liked that even though it was a shared bathroom and shower, they were very clean and well-equipped. The toilet was separate from the shower. The room was spacious and the ceiling fan was great. I also loved my window with the cute shutters. The staff was amazing and I could even leave my bag after checkout. The location is great! There was also a sink in the room

I was well aware that there was no lift but it was still a struggle after a long day out. Ofc it's not their fault but if u have mobility issues or can't do stairs then I wouldn't recommend it. The water pressure was also very weak on the 3rd floor and the shower lock needs some reinforcing as it felt very flimsy and was misaligned so it didn't close all the way

Close to the Pisa tower

The location is very close to the Pisa tower, about 10mins walk, so it was very convenient. Lots of restaurants and cafe in the neighborhood. Friendly staff at the reception.

There is no elevator, we were given the room at the 4th floor, we had to carry our suitcase, baby stroller, etc all the way up. Good exercise…but perhaps not for everyone. Barely there internet connection…very unreliable The location is not very convenient for public transport, luckily we could easily get an Uber.

Good value for a visit to Pisa when visiting the attractions around the tower. Located a block away.

Location was excellent. Staff was amazingly sweet, ordered a taxi, held onto my suitcase. Lots of touristic restaurants and cafes in the area.

Amazing Experience

The guesthouse its in the centre two min walk to pisa tower, room was super clean and they refresh the room everyday. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful goes out of their way to make comfortable. The introduced breakfast its worthed for €10 per person i do reccomend. It was a memorable stay and definately i do visit again and to recommend to friends. Alla prossima charlie

Great location and value for money

I was staying here in February, so my floor was almost empty. Therefore, the shared bathroom was almost "mine". It was clean and the room itself it spacious. I also had a hairdryer provided, everything was clean Location is great - very central

On one night (Sunday) there was a party going on in the next building, and it was extremely loud, going on till 12 at night. Even with closed windows, earplugs, and everything, I felt like the party was next door. The owners told me it's a private party, and since the building does not belong to the hotel, they could not do anything. I think it was a very rare occasion, but since it was my first night after a very tiring day, it was extremely unpleasant. All other nights, it was silent, no parties whatsoever. Some workers speak almost no English and it is extremely hard to communicate with them. Others were super helpful, though. The design of the common room is horrendous, but not really important for my stay

Good pensione.

The Helvetia is a traditional pensione. I had a large and comfortable room with shared shower and toilet. All very clean and quiet in a good location in the tourist area. You pay for the room...there aren't facilities or breakfast but that was fine for me and it was good value the night I was there.

Great location, good value for money

We stayed for two nights, and it was a great experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. While the hotel isn’t overly fancy, it offers all the essential amenities, and the beds were comfortable. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the tower, with a wide range of restaurants nearby. The train station is only about a 20-minute walk away. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again!

Great place on a budget with amazing location

Location was amazing, so close to the Pisa tower and right around the corner from restaurants and shops. The room itself was big and beds were comfortable, spare pillow and blankets also provided. Bathroom was massive and clean, shower had good water pressure. Overall very pleasant experience, I would come back if I came to Pisa again and I would recommend to a friend.

Hotel was quite loud at night, lots of banging and door slamming. The shampoo/body wash provided wasn't amazing, better to bring your own. On website it said that the city tax will be 9€ for all of us but when we checked out we have been asked for 18€ and that could only be paid with cash. There was no kind of microwave, fridge or any kind of cutlery or crockery, not even a glass in the room and only thing that was available was a snack machine downstairs. Luckily the Carrefour nearby had paper cups and cutlery for if we wanted to have dinner or breakfast in the room. However there are plenty places to eat around the hotel.
