Good location - great views - needs a refresh.

The location was about a 3 minute walk to the tower of Pisa with restaurants all around. The shopping area was about a ten minute walk away so a very good location.

It was a bit dated and could do with refresh. I think it is misleading to rate this a 4 star.

Perfect location and brilliant staff members. Hotel is outdated but charming.

Location and views from the top were superb! Staff was super friendly. Unfortunately we missed the opening hours of the rooftop bar but the views are great at any time of the day!

Breakfast buffet was always half empty and you had to ask staff to refill. The hotel is quite outdated.

Great vista of the Pisa

Great location with a view of the Pisa from the juliet balcony , great spritz , bathroom a little weathered but its a stunning old building & breakfast was great a selection

Lovely staff but a seriously run down hotel.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The check in and out was very fast and efficient. The beds were comfortable.

The rooms are incredibly dirty and rundown. Dirt caked on the walls. Finger prints dragged down the walls. Door frames broken. Black mould on window sills which is a major health hazard. Broken window clasps. Bathroom window couldn’t be opened after closing. Black out blinds opened but didn’t close. Only 1 wall socket would accept an international adaptor. The view from the window was out to a hideous unused patio with broken furniture, power tools and dead plants. The hotel bar is only open from 6pm, even on a Saturday. The wi-fi just didn’t work.

Pisa in general is well worth a visit & if your going Hotel Duomo is the place to stay.

Hotel Duomo, is in a great location for visiting the tower. We only stayed 1 night before getting the train to Florence, train station is a 10 minute walk. Plenty of bars & restaurants in the area alongside the main attractions of Pisa. Staff where very friendly & when we arrived at around 10.30AM our room was ready which was an added bonus as only expected to be able to leave our luggage. Hotel was very clean & breakfast had lots of choice. The roof top bar with great views of the tower was closed due to it being the winter season but we could still go up there & take in the view.

Only drawback was the rooftop bar being closed but I understand why during the winter. Nothing else apart from that.

Great location, clean and tidy, bright light flashing in room all night.

The location was amazing, so close to the tower and easy walking distance to the river. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were allowed to leave our luggage on the day of departure and come back and collect later in the day. The wholemeal jam croissant was delicious as breakfast.

Although the shutter blinds were great outside of the room to keep the light out. There was a smoke alarm in the room that flashed all Night, a bright green light that was so bright. Eye masks need to be provided as I felt like I was in a rave. The room we were in whilst clean felt very tired and dated and in need of an overhaul, at one point this was probably a posh hotel, but it has aged and not kept up with other things out there now for less money.

A hotel with a view

Excellent location with a great view of the Leaning Tower and Duomo located 200 m away. The rooms were fine and very reasonably priced. Courteous and efficient staff who gave plenty of advice and kept our luggage for several hours. A good quality breakfast with lots of options and fine quality coffee.. Restaurants practically at the hotel entrance - most are fine and not tourist traps - just check something like TripAdvisor. It was also only ~€20 for a taxi to the airport.

It can be a bit noisy early in the morning with deliveries in progress, street sweeping etc.

Not a 4 star hotel

Location

Very dated and not kept. The window of our room faced the Main street in front of of the hotel and because it didn’t close well the cold and noise was coming through. The noise from downstairs in the street was so loud and vivid it almost felt that I was sleeping outside. The AC/heating vents need cleaning. I started the heating and o could see the dust coming though the vents into the room. Breakfast was below average.

The position with the roof bar over-looking the leaning tower was fantastic. Staff were pleasant.

It’s very tired decor wise, needs an up-date. Window in room didn’t close properly. Downstairs bar was closed. Roof top bar has amazing views but was freezing and decor again functional.

Very good hotel near famous Leaning Tower and Cathedral.

Location perfect for the piazza delle Miracoli and the city centre. Nice view from room. Staff at reception all welcoming and helpful. Very easy to get to from airport or station.

There's a nice lounge on the ground floor which would have been nicer for me as a bar than the roof bar when it was dark and quite cold in November in the evening.

Perfect location, few minutes from the tower. The rooftop bar is very nice. Friendly, helpful staff. The double bed was big and very comfortable. For breakfast there was a lot of food to choose from.

Location and hospitality.

Old fashioned. Although the bathroom is big enough the shower is very small. Wall are so thin that you have all sounds around. Not sure but there is always construction even on Sundays.

But unfortunately, i specifically ask for room with Window and he gave me room where Windows were not opening, it was late I night when I checked in and exhausted but I was completely annoyed. Food also nothing to praise.

Dated hotel with great staff

Amazing location, right in the city centre and close to all the main sights. Very friendly and helpful staff, and fairly good value for money. Breakfast not bad at all.

The room was incredibly dated - I don’t think it had been renovated since at least the 1980s. It really looked worn out, which made it quite an unpleasant place to sleep. It was at least clean, but I wouldn’t have wanted more than one night there.

Perfect location, excellent service.

The hotel is in a perfect location for everything Pisa has to offer. The airport and train station are a short taxi ride away. There are an abundance of lovely restaurants on the door step. Although the rooms are a little small, they have everything you need and include breakfast, our room had a perfect view of the Tower. We have stayed here twice and love the friendly atmosphere and excellent service.

The water pressure in the shower is quite low.

Great central location and helpful reception

The central location is fabulous, we arrived by taxi and got dropped at the door. The city is very walkable from the hotel and the Leaning Tower complex very close by. The view from the bar and terrace is wonderful. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful and it was great to be able to leave our luggage for a while after checkout. Breakfast was decent.

The rooms were perfectly fine, but on the small side and a bit dreary and dark. The photo on the advert is not what we got. For the price I think they need to be better.

Great location for your stay in Pisa

The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting the historic centre of Pisa. Fantastic roof terrace with amazing views of the Tower and Duomo, where we had an excellent dinner. The staff went above and beyond to facilitate one of our party who was not feeling 100%. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice.

The room was small and the bathroom could have done with a bit of updating.

Fabulously appointed hotel in Pisa with amazing rooftop bar

Fantastic location with what must be the most well appointed rooftop bar in the city. Friendly staff, comfortable facilities and excellent value for money.

In all honesty the interior of the hotel including both the dining areas (excluding the rooftop bar) and the bedrooms could do with a modern revamp. However, it is difficult to be too critical when there are so many positives...

Price/quality certainly a top recommendation

Location was superb. What a view, wow!! The view from our room (4th floor) exceeded our expectations. the breakfast was ok and nice. The beds were really comfortable and everything was very clean.

Even though we didn't book the restaurant we could still get a spot for the apero on the terrace. The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately we only noticed afterwards that they charged us something that we didn't receive.

The location was amazing with a picturesque view of the tower which is what we came to see.

The property a very dated, a high cost for such a property was a little disappointing. We could have come, enjoyed Pisa and travelled back to Florence in the day had we known.
