Welcoming staff and a perfect stay in Pisa

The hotel was located just 5 mins walk from the main shopping street and tower of Pisa. The staff were all friendly, the place was very clean and walking distance from main attractions. Highly recommend this hotel especially with children.

great couple of days stay!

Location is excellent / we could go around exploring on foot. Staff was very helpful giving us advice on restaurants and local amenities that are worth exploring. There is little "tower room" on the top floor where signal reception was excellent and the view was great - never had a better office for a couple of hours.

Wi-fi was poor but considering the age of the building and tick walls its understandable. Breakfast selection could also be improved perhaps.

Excellent.

Excellent hotel up a quiet side street approx 5 minute walk from the Tower. We had a twin room with plenty of space and a small balcony where we could sit out, even in December. Our room was clean & warm, the bathroom was small but also clean & has a great shower. The room was perfectly decorated to compliment the age of the original building. The staff were all friendly & very helpful. Breakfast is continental style with lots of choices. Easy to get to from the station & for getting out and about. Great views from the roof terrace too. Loved it.

Charming hotel close to sites

Hotel di Stefano is a lovely little hotel, close to Piazza dei Miracoli and Corso Italia. The decor has retained an old school charm without feeling shabby. Breakfast options were very good.

Love Italy and love this hotel!!

When we arrived the front desk manager was super informative and made the arrangements for parking in the street for our rent-a-car. The reservation came with breakfast included, but our flight out of Pisa airport was very early and we could not meet the breakfast opening. The manager arranged for an early breakfast for us right at the front desk. When we came down at 6am to check-out the manager had a a great spread of breakfast choices and he even prepared Cappuccino for us. This was very unexpected and certainly other hotels should learn from this great hospitality. Thanks very much!!

Cozy and clean hotel near Pisa Leaning Tower

The staff was very friendly and kind, rooms are super clean, beds are comfortable, breakfast area was lovely, the whole hotel is cozy with charming Italian vibe. Also, great location - few minutes to Pisa leaning tower!

Terrible breakfast, sign on display not to take food away, hardly likely, it was a poor display, we ate breakfast elsewhere. We weren’t tempted to take anything out of the breakfast room

Location

The lift was broken and I had to take the stairs to the third floor using an old horrible staircase. The reception told me I had received an email about the broken lift. I checked all my emails afterwards and there was nothing said about this problem. The closet and bed was very very old. I was scared to pick up some bug from there. I am glad I didn’t stay there for more than 1 night. Also I didn’t get the room that was in the picture.

The location and the hotel rooms have had a modern renovation

We saw the owner and his wife quite a few times not once did they greet their guests,where as in South Africa the guests are extremely friendly.

Perfect hotel for a city getaway!

Great location, very close to the leaning tower, in a quiet area. The staff was very helpful and friendly and made me a recommendation for an excellent restaurant. Nice and clean room, good breakfast and a nice rooftop patio where you may enjoy the view of the Leaning Tower.

Wonderful stay in Pisa at a quaint hotel close to the Leaning Tower of Pisa as well as restaurants.

They stored our luggage before our check-in time and it was a very convenient process. Location was excellent. Room was nice, and it was clean and had a nice view of the patio. Breakfast was very good and in a nice dining area. All of the staff were professional and exceptional. There is a bar in the lobby. It was nice we could get a glass of wine and a beer and take to the rooftop patio and enjoy the view of the Leaning Tower of Pisa!

We got stuck in the elevator! But they were quick to answer the emergency call to get us out.

Lovely family hotel in an ideal location with very helpful attentive staff. We will be back.

The location was excellent, we could see the leaning tower from the rooftop terrace. The choice of two stations were only 15 minutes away. Pisa Central with trains direct to Florence and other main cities, or Pisa Rossore to Lucca. Plenty of places to eat and drink in, plus in a quiet location. Breakfast was also excellent with a good choice available. People on the reception desk gave some fantastic recomendations for resturants!

Generally our room was very good and well maintained, always cleaned properly. A full length mirror would have been useful as not all rooms are equipped, and a waste bin in the room not just in the bathroom. But I'm nitpicking here.

Perfect Pisa

A beautiful chic hotel set back from the main street. The gorgeous roof top terrace had amazing views and was so relaxing. Staff were so lovely and couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. We would recommend this hotel it was wonderful

A warm welcome from a delightful family

The family who own and run it are charming, friendly, helpful and delightful. The location could hardly be better in the old centre of Pisa a minute's walk from restaurants and shops, 5 minutes' walk from the Leaning Tower with views of the Tower from the rooftop terrace.

Lovely pleasant hotel in a super location.

Location excellent, staff very helpful and pleasant. Looks like a well run family hotel. Breakfast was fine. Room was comfortable and a 5 minute walk from the Tower and its other attractions, and also the main eating and shopping areas.

Excellent location. In downtown close to all the sights, yet quiet at night. Approximately 15 minute walk to the train station. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent water pressure. The room is simple but adequate.

Great stay very near to the leaning tower

Superb location, few minutes walk to piazza dei Miracoli. Spacious room, excellent AC during the hot summer night. Reasonably good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Easy to find a place for the car in the public parking nearby.

A bit of trouble to reach by car because it is near a pedestrian-only area and most of the navigation apps do not get the correct route - only Waze got it right, Google Maps, Petal and Yandex did not

Excellent location. Fine for a bed to flop down in for a night. Two nights was one too many.

Great location less than ten minutes walk from all the key sites in Pisa. The breakfast selection was pretty good though no cooked options. There’s a good terrace on the roof where we ate (and drank) alfresco. The reception staff were very helpful.

Our room (for three people) was tiny and cheerless and dark. A tiny shower cubicle was hard to turn around in. No room safe.

We stayed here twice because it was so good in the price range and in its excellent location for visiting Pisa.
