Disappointed

Very small bedroom and bathroom. We could not walk past each other without one of us sitting on the bed. The only positive thing about the bedroom, was it had a seaview. The room was cold, the heating only came on at certain times during the day/evening. No door on the wardrobe, limited space available to store clothes and luggage. The choice of food in the restaurant was very limited, was told they didn’t know if they could fit us in for evening meal and to go back an hour later. We went out for dinner. Breakfast was very limited and small, small Dining room table, barely enough room for everything to fit on.

Great hotel clean modern well decorated, rooms far too hot .

Modern decoration light and airy, comfy warm atmosphere

No TRV valves on the radiators in the rooms so heating was pretty much uncontrollable without isolating the radiator completely. Rooms were extremely hot 25 degrees which was uncomfortable and must cost a fortune. Earlier in the evening in the concert room lots of ladies were using a fan to try cool off . Nobody wants to be too cold but the heat in the hotel was oppressive.

We only stayed for a few nights, room, hotel facilities and entertainment were just ok for us. Expected more because the reviews were so positive for this hotel.

Room was small, very old fashioned & in desperate need of update. Very unpleasant smell coming from bathroom, think it was the drains. Entertainment was ok, enjoyed the greatest showman singing/dancing act but the other singers were not great, most songs choices were aimed at the older generation and not much for young at heart (40-50's) or older children, my daughter is 14 and wasn't impressed.

Good location. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Rooms were a bit outdated but clean and comfortable. The family room was a very good size. Good drinks selection at the bar. The bar staff were great. Evening entertainment was good for both adults and children. Games room for kids. Good size pool and facilities.

The corridors are very narrow and parts of the hotel could do with modernisation. However all of the hotel was very clean. The food was not great! Very limited menu for both adults and children - everything from frozen. I ordered the pate starter and it resembled cat food and I couldn't eat it. One of our group ordered a chicken salad which was a very standard salad in a small cereal bowl and three small pieces of (clearly packeted) chicken on the plate next to the salad bowl. For £23.90pp (adults and not including any drinks) the quality was poor and completely put our group off eating in the hotel for the remainder of the stay. I was expecting more of a menu selection given the simplicity of the options and failing that a higher standard of food. The layout of the hotel needs a re-think. The reception is in the bar area which is compact and causes chaos with people for check-in and out. Appreciated it was the start of the October break and heavily populated with families with children but there was a distinct lack of consideration for residents that just wanted to have a quiet drink late at night once the entertainment had ended. Children running through the already compact bar area at 23:00pm screaming and shouting, (one child launching himself around one of the chairs we were sat on) was just not an enjoyable experience. Granted again parental intervention should have occurred but the on duty staff did nothing to help facilitate this despite observing from the reception area that other residents were clearly getting annoyed and put off by the commotion happening. This was disappointing and could have been resolved quickly given the facilities offered for children they could have been redirected away from the bar area.

Great hotel.

Beautiful, modern room with private bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Daily maid service. Good food.

I booked a double but the bed was a very small double. I'm quite glad my partner wasn't able to come as there wouldn't have been room for us both. Mattress was very hard and lumpy.

Dirty cutlrey,crockery. Food very salty infact too much to finish eating our food on more than one occasion. The price paid was not worth it. We wont stay again. The pool was dirty no lighting in the changing rooms plus too many people allowed in the pool at one time. The rooms were clean ish !!. Hairs in the bath,toilet seat hanging off and not stable. The window ( not sea front) let loads of draught in. Beds were small and not comfy. We paid all inclusive and not worth the money even if we did drink alcohol.

The swimming pool is just the perfect size for the kids. The tram stops right outside. The kids had a ball at the childrens entertainment. Staff were friendly and helpful and rooms where clean and tidy.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable could feel the springs coming through the mattress. Couple of the singers were awful Entertainment host on Fri and Sunday was fab, but not the host on Saturday. Poor bar snack service and different reasons for delay offered by different members of staff when the actual truth was the ticket got lost Worst sticky toffee pudding we have ever tasted

● The room we first checked into was awful. Small, cramped with uncomfortable beds with thin and worn mattresses. While I was looking online for alternative accommodation, my partner went in search of another room. ●The third room we looked at and decided to take was spacious, but it was a family room for 6. Regardless, the mattresses were all thin, springy, and uncomfortable. Two people could not have slept in the same bed. The room was cold, especially through the night. ●The weather outside all weekend was horrendous with gale force winds, and although I don't hold the hotel responsible for that, I do hold them responsible for badly sealed and not fully closing windows. ●Our stay at this hotel was definitely not worth the price I paid, and I won't be staying here again. In fact, I am returning to Blackpool in two weeks' time and have booked a superking room at the Holiday Inn, where I know the beds will be comfortable, the room warm and quiet (from the weather) and where I will get a good night's sleep.

The bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in, the springs in the mattress were protruding into our bodies all night, we mentioned this at checkout, the receptionist just said i'll make a note of it! The whole hotel is grubby especially the indoor pool which we were going to use but decided against it because it was dirty, as were the changing rooms. I know Blackpool has a certain reputation but this is meant to be one of the better hotels, it certainly didn't feel like it, we paid an extra £11.90 each for breakfast which was terrible, sausage that seemed like they had been cooked days before, cold bacon and eggs that were under cooked. We did ask if we could have an omelette, the waitress said we could, but it would take a long time to come. Why, when it takes a couple of minutes to cook one, very strange! We definitely wouldn't return to this hotel.

The staff were great very helpful and friendly. The lift was handy. Entertainment was ok. Breakfast was fine plenty to eat.

First day there I ordered bar meal. They forgot about me and I had to remind them to bring my sweet. The room was not great the bed was awful we rolled into the middle and the duvet didn’t fit properly. The shower was a mixer tap and was not even warm. We had a meal in dining room. Food was fine but not very warm. Maybe heat plates might help.

The bedroom was not what I expected the decor was very dated and worn out, as soon as you go up the stairs to level 1 it’s like going back in a Time Machine. The beds were a little wobbly. Unfortunately we got stuck with very awful people above playing music until 2:30am 2 nights in a row.

Very dated - leaving reception (quite modern looking) rest of hotel much older and in need of some modernisation - threadbare carpet in stairwell. 2 very small and slow lifts! Very noisy - could hear people moving around in other rooms and floor in our room very creaky (glad we weren’t underneath). Outdoor pool needs some repair - tiles missing rails loose etc and floating debris but appeared well used by residents. Indoor pool tiny! Not amazing value for money - no breakfast included in our price On street parking - had to park a little walk away - advert suggested ample available parking - not the case

No sleep at all so wast of money people above arguing all night long banging on the floor and shouting all night so my little lad had no sleep and neither did we and we have to drive home nakerd room was poor for what we paid and had to leave £50 deposit for what looks like an old person's room it stinks only 1 chair for a family room no cold water in tap just hot water bath panel coming of stains on the wall and on the doors and walls windows are filthy dirty moldy ceiling leaking indoor pool was very dirty all around we had to park streets away so couldn't keep an eye on our car we had to pay parking elsewhere we are very angry any upset will not be coming back i will be telling others not to come hear to

Lovely clean and friendly.

We booked a double but were upgraded to a bigger room due to availability which was a bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful. We chose to pay an extra £20 to stay on till lunch time which I thought was reasonable. The breakfast was beautiful and the staff work so hard and super efficient. Loved the outdoor heated pool and you are able to use hotel towels. There was no noise like some of the other comments mentioned and not hot in the room. There was a fan to use in the wardrobe in case it did get hot. We loved our mini break there.

The mattress was a bit hard. It’s a big hotel so when they say there is a car park, it’s more like a gap down the side of the building which probably fits 10 cars in bumper to bumper. Not sure how people would get out. We paid £7 (cash only) to use the car park next door for about 30 hours.

Great service and value, family friendly

Super friendly staff and customer service. Great prices food and bar if you havnt gone all inclusive. We went bed and breakfast friday until tuesday was very happy with it, Great that pool towels included too. Our party had bit of upset and falling out and even give us a free extra room to use so could have some extra space which was lovley of them. Travel cot provided was of good quality and bedding also. Would definitely visit again

Only complaint realy is lift was very small for to pram to for in but they have storage so wasnt to bad could store it front desk. Only other thing was rooms get very warm in high sumner temperature, but you are a provided a fan. Games room in my opinion could do little bit more modernising but great visit not much to complain about was great staff

Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice and clean rooms lounge area modern and smart. Out door seating for when it wasn't raining. Breakfast was varied and enough to keep you going through the day. Evening meal was tasty and hot. Staff very attentive.

Creaky floorboards in the hallways late at night ( sorry 😞). Short wait at bar whilst staff were performing other tasks but not too long a wait and very pleasant when serving.
