    Easy to imagine it was once an imperial hotel. Beautiful beachfront location. But so so so poorly maintained. Everything felt dirty or smelled like something. Carpets were dusty. Towels were hit or miss. Did not bother getting under the sheets. Bathroom showers had plastic rotary knobs (?) that I had never in my life seen before. Only redeeming qualities are the view and the kitchen staff. very kind accommodating chefs and servers. No AC.

    Check in a bit chaotic not enough staff as with many hotels we have visited lack of plug sockets in room none next to the bed car park charges a bit expensive especially as we are guests should be included in the price introduction of a pool and sauna would be beneficial to make it a 4 star not sure it merits a 4 star but saying that seeing some of the hotels in the resort it is a great value for money hotel with lots of history

    We arrived at 2 to check in at 3 with our 5 year old and 6 month old. We didnt get our room key till aroumd 4.45pm and was the wtomg room.wich had broken glasses in it. After complaining was given another room around a hour later. Wich when we arrived at that room it was all ready occupoed with people stuff in it after comlaining again. Was told there was no rooms ready so was given a play room until aboit 8pm when we finaly got a room but wasted our day and with a 5 year old that has autism compleatly spoilrd the whole break
