Our Best Stay Yet!

The Staff are absolutely amazing! Nathan couldn't do enough to help when we first arrived. His customer service is 10/10 had an issue with the mattress Callum then sorted us a new one within the time of us telling them going out and then getting back to the problem being sorted. Callum and Nathan really did make our stay feel like home from home. Will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future!

The price was good

Despite paying for a late checkout (12pm) the cleaner walking in whilst in was sat on the toilet, then 30 mins later the guy on reception knocked on our door reminding us that checkout was at 10am (he’s the one that took our late checkout money btw) he then said he’d check the ‘system’ and when we actually checked out at 11am he reminded us we had an additional hour in the room but offered no apology!

Front of house staff was very pleasant he seemed to be doing quite a few things. Felt he was over worked. If they cleane

The front desk, the waiting room and restaurant were all clean tidy even pleasant to look at.

The beds were lumpy. My bed wasn’t clean under the quilt. Dog hairs all over the sheet. Soap holder was either mouldy or rotting. Curtains were falling off.

Smelled beautiful and lovely and clean. Our room had fabulous views and had been refurbished with new beds and bathroom. Fantastic staff, especially Nathan and Ian, but all the staff are lovely. Food awesome and it’s great you can take your four legged family member too.

Full of regret

Bad receptionist , heating was not working , full of lies kept saying they fixed while nothing was done . Very dirty hotel . Poor customers service . We all regreted going there as a family .

Absolutely nothing.

The rooms/beds where filthy, no handle on bathroom door, toilet roll and fag end down toilet, walls filthy. We checked in and checked out within the matter of hours.

The location was perfect as attending the soul weekender

The showers don’t work properly just a trickle unfortunately I did complain about this I had to move rooms as no long mirror in the room which I feel is a must The bed were clean and comfortable There was not enough plugs in the rooms either I have stayed at this hotel previously and it has deteriorated I’m Afraid 😟 I won’t stay here again Nathan on reception was lovely

the food was very nice and lots off it. the staff was very friendly room was cold and the water was cold the shower was bad a little water came out you had to wait 15 mins for the bit of water to be hot bathroom cold

the rooms want to be warm with hot water and you need to up grade the rooms showers they was a lot of unhappy people staying there we will not be going back also the bar was a bit pricey the toilets wasn't very clean you need to have cleaners on at christmas did not have the bed rooms clean we stayed 4 nights well we will not be going back

Great value for money and excellent meals

I phoned hotel on the morning of booking in to request an early check in it was sorted straight away. When I got there the bloke on the reception was very happy to help and sorted a pot of tea as I'd been on the road since 3am. I had booked dinner bed and breakfast it cost £39.50 the bloke in the restaurant was fantastic too the evening meal was lovely with the veg cooked just perfect and it was a 3 course meal. Breakfast had a excellent choice from toast and cereal and full English excellent value for the money. The room was a basic single with own shower room.

I miss the entertainment the hotel used to have entertainment nearly every night and was nearly always full. Not enough milk and teabags I had to get extra from reception but only got 4 teabags and 4 milk with 4 coffee and sugar in little bags there needs to be at least 6 teabags and more milk

I’ve been going for the past 2 yrs it in proving the staff great restaurants they do anything for you the restaurant manager?l wasn’t happy ask reception staff for towels toilet rolls someone put to sort this plug all out in the sink in the bathroom he said he’ll sort it and he never did it so the restaurant manager got me some towels and toilet rolls and he said he should be doing this job said he’s a waste of time

You got to keeping ask tollet rolls towels my bin need emptying was full for two days wait full day mange to get rollers rolls towels the rest of our manager got them for me they got reception. Nathan just keeps forgetting you ask him something and he doesn’t do it. I’ve been in and out four days four days and I’m still waiting for a plug hole for the sink, so I’ve been shaving, returning the tapper wetting my face and I’ve been spilling it out. I don’t seem to see a lot of cleaners here as well like a lot of hotels you’ve seen cleaning and cleaning around you only same when the rooms are being vancated.

The President Hotel was just a short Tram trip or walk to the main tourist area and shopping centre of Blackpool, with a tram stop right outside the hotel. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty to eat and great views over the sea. Will definitely stay again.

rooms could have been a bit bigger. Only one iron and ironing board for the whole hotel so had to iron in a communal area.

I will not be back

The food was ok the staff were polite but no informative

Everything else my room felt Dirty and on closer inspection it was. There were dirty cups and a kettle but no drinks available when I complained he said your supposed to ask for them The room was freezing when I complained the first suggestion was to twiddle with the knobs when that didnt work he eventually brought a heater up which took at least an hour to warm the room The soap dish in the bathroom looked like someone had been putting their cigarettes out and the drain for the shower was filthy as were the ledges around the room When I complained he said he would send housekeeping in while I was out When I came back the heating was working and a window had been opened but everything else was exactly the same. They said in the brochure you could have evening meal between 5.30pm and 6.45pm. As it was raining very hard outside I decided that I would eat in , when I went downstairs and made my intention known he said you need to order in the morning sorry. And he suggested a take away which meant I still had to go out in the rain he did however provide me with a fork.

The hotel room needs improvement, the shower cubicle door was broken and silver fish were running around in the shower tray, the sink was cracked, the dressing table and bedside table there were coffee cup stains which hadn’t been cleaned and the carpet was wet where the radiator was leaking!!! Would I stay again? NO

This is my second stay here it could be a lot cleaner there was dogs hairs on the carpet and on the sofa

Dining area was clean and the food was very nice I should’ve booked direct instead of third-party. The room at first was very small so I had to pay a lot more for a larger room having my mobility scooter which cost me a lot more than my budget we had to be reminded for them to bring tea, sugar, and coffee as there was none in the room .

I did not like the lift as I have a small mobility scooter when we all have to be out of the property at 10 o’clock you can be waiting at least 20 minutes for the lift because people were coming down with their cases . also dog hairs on the carpet and on the chair it could’ve been cleaned .
