The Fossil Tree Hotel

The room was lovely and clean, Chris and Christine were the perfect hosts, they were lovely, friendly and very welcoming nothing was to much trouble, breakfast was amazing, hotel was lovely and clean. Honesty bar was good. We have booked again for November, we have found our perfect hotel.

Nothing it was perfect

The owners were very friendly and obliging, our room on the top floor was spacious with easy chairs as well as a comfortable bed and good ventilation. We liked our sea view. Having a hospitality tray which included thoughtful touches like a bottle of filtered water was appreciated, along with the consideration given to the environment. Breakfast was delicious and well prepared. The hotel is conveniently placed for tram and bus stops.

The shower was a bit cramped and the stairs up to our room were steep

The fossil tree hotel was lovely very very clean breakfast was great the owner was very friendly took the time to have a chat with us nothing was too much trouble.

The owners had reserved a parking space at the side of the hotel, however, we found some on road parking immediately outside, so didn't need it. The check-in was straight forward and the owners were nice and friendly. The room (Cedar) was a good size with sufficient storage and was clean and well decorated. The bed was comfortable and the window at the side of the bed was most welcome as it was a warm couple of days. The bathroom was clean and the shower temperature and water pressure was good. Breakfast was a bit slow in arriving but more than made up for it in quality and quantity. Delicious.
